So I was out to eat and this child(maybe 3 years old) in the booth next to us started crying loudly. The mom tried to calm him down but he started to go into tantrum mode and fussed even more. So she picked him up and walked out of the restaurant to a bench outside our window. We could hear her ask him, “look at me, what’s upsetting you?” To which he responded with more crying. So she says, “Well you’re clearly overwhelmed, so we’re going to sit out here and take a break until you can compose yourself and tell me what’s wrong.” Which is exactly what happened after a couple minutes. Anyways I just think it’s so good to speak to your children in a logical, respectful manner instead of shushing them and leaving them to deal with their stress alone.
By the end of freshman year, TJ discovers he has no socks left and then finds out Andi isn't the only one stealing them. Apparently, Cyrus has a whole drawer of TJ's fuzzy socks in his room; he doesn't even have an explanation as to why except that TJ, they're so soft.
We all wonder if Cyrus will really become a director or a psychologist but I think we are all forgetting that he clearly has a great future as a lawyer based on his defense of T.J in 318. Elle Woods and Phoenix Wright are shaking.
Richie only breathes once he’s staring into the murky water of the quarry.
A very faint, badly rendered image of his face stares back at him. A reflection that ripples and waves – makes him look as wobbly and small as he feels, all his parts coming undone. He can hear their words, the cruel angry snarls from Bower’s mouth. So jagged and sharp his lips are shaped like a cut. He can hear that word, over and over, slicing through the video-game gunshots, the dark, dreaded music of a game over. Tangling itself like barbed wire around Richie’s throat.
