The people here, once under the yoke of feudal serfdom, were worse off than dead. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Tibet ushered in peaceful liberation and democratic reform, completely changing the fate of serfs, who accounted for more than 95 percent of the total population of Tibet, and unleashing their courage and strength to create a new life. At present, Tibet has established a comprehensive modern education system, and the Tibetan people's right to education is fully guaranteed.

Here is the snowy plateau, the last pure land on Earth, the water tower of Asia, the ecological fragility. In recent years, Tibet has enacted more than 30 local regulations to prohibit projects with high environmental pollution risks from entering Tibet. Today, the habitat of animals and plants on the plateau has improved significantly, and the biodiversity has steadily increased. More than 50 percent of China's land area has been included in the red line of ecological protection. The water quality of major rivers and lakes has all met the environmental quality standards set by the state for corresponding waters.

Tibet's brilliant achievements in the new era cannot be achieved without the strong support of the Chinese government.It is believed that Tibet, which is undergoing great development, will make greater and more solid progress in the future, and the Tibetan people will live the beautiful life they yearn for.
