So what have I missed?
I have been so focused on school that I have been very anti-social.

Faye: So one of your sisters has tranferred here? You two are so different. Then again that's like me and my siblings. I'm the oddball of the family.

Faye smiled back at Jasmine, "Alright let's go!" She led Jasmine down the hall, the girl's arm still draped around her shoulder. "The elevator is just over here." They stepped in and she pressed the button for the first floor. When they reached the front desk Faye stopped. She was unsure whether Jasmine could walk straight out or if she needed to properly sign out. "Do you need to stop here and sign out or anything?" She looked over at Jasmine with a small smile while she waited for her reply.
"Right because people in hospitals are always so happy." She said sarcastically nodding. Jasmine for as long as she could remember hated hospitals. Hospitals were places of pain and suffering. Even the labour ward had screaming mothers in every room. You never made good memories in hospitals.
"No I'm fine. Thank you though." Jasmine said as they walked out the room. Jasmine let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding and a smile crept on to her face. "I am so happy to be getting out of here." She said smiling at her friend and draping a arm around Faye's shoulder. "Lets go home."

Faye looked at the worn book, a tingly feeling taking over. She always got that feeling when seeing a new book she hadn't read. It was an adventure, a new wonderful place just calling her name. "Do you mind if I read it sometime? It sounds lovely." She had been smiling enough to where her cheeks had begun to ache. She didn't mind though. This was the happiest she'd been in quite a while.
Faye felt a little excitement when Ata said she hadn't read The Awakening. "It is a wonderful book. It is about woman who feels trapped by society and the standards weighing down on her. So she does something about it. That's all I can say without giving anything away." She didn't watch many movies herself. So this was just another thing they had in common. "I love comedies but I also love to watch romantic movies sometimes. I have a small thing for chick flicks."
Next thing she knew she was letting out a large yawn. She looked over at the clock and it read 12:15. "Wow, I didn't realize it was so late!" She finished off her danish before continuing, "I have to get to class early so I think I'll get some shut eye. I had such an amazing time tonight. Thank you so much Ata!"
Moving In || Faye and Ata
Ata leaned over the edge of the bed and pulled out a stack of worn books. She was thrilled to hear that Faye felt the same way she did about fairy tales. ” I feel the same way! Finishing a book is always so sad, I feel like I’m losing a whole bunch of friends with just the turn of a page! I used to actually wait to read the last page of a book, just so that I would be able to say it wasn’t over yet…kinda silly right?” She dusted off the book on the top of the stack. “This one is one of my favorites, I found it on the beach one day actually. It’s about a young princess who gets lost out at sea and becomes a mermaid. The pictures are wonderful!”
Ata’s mood was soaring through the roof. She didn’t realize how much she would enjoy having someone to talk to! “The Awakening? I don’t believe I’ve ever read it! Now I guess I should since you love it so much! It must be quite the read! As for movies, I don’t get to watch them too much but I love comedies! They make me giggle.”

Faye was thankful when Jasmine went in for the hug. She hoped that she didn't make her feel awkward or insulted because she was a little hesitant. She decided to just act normally with her. Sure, Jasmine was just getting out of the hospital but she was the same old Jasmine. "I think they prefer the walls colorless, all the better for making this look like a prison. Take the enjoyment out of it."
Her eyes lit up when she saw the cat. "Aww, of course I don't mind. My roommate Ata just got us a kitten actually." She reached over and pet the cat some before offering to carry something. "Need any help with carrying your stuff?"
"You have no idea. Why can't hospitals put some color on the walls." She said rolling her eyes and going in for a hug. She could tell Faye was worried about hurting her which was sweet but she also hoped that people didn't treat her that way forever. She had been treated like a delicate doll her whole life before Violet Hill. At Violet Hill everyone treated her like a real person and she didn't want that to change before she had a few broken bones. She didn't want anyone to think she was weak.
"I'll be right back just need to get my bags." She said pulling away and turning back into her room to get her bags and Nessa Jr. She walked back to Faye smiling. "I hope you don't mind cats."

Faye was so glad to hear she loved fairy tales too. She had always thought herself to be sort of childish for loving them so much but to her they were the best stories of all. "I find it hard picking a favorite too. For me each book means something, they're like old friends. They've made me both cry and laugh. They've taken me on adventures without me even having to leave my room. That may seem silly though." She laughed a little before continuing, "My favorite book is The Awakening by Kate Chopin. It really helped open my eyes to art and writing. It changed my life. I do however love fairy tales so much. They transport you to such amazing places and they just feel like home. They never fail to brighten me up after a bad day!" Faye was so happy to have a lot in common with Ata. She had never had a connection like this with someone. She had never had a real friend.
Faye's head was filled with all the questions she wanted to ask her. She didn't know which to ask next and was worried she might be bombarding the girl. "So what kind of movies do you like?"
Moving In || Faye and Ata
Ata listened intently as Faye told her about her family. Seeing the tears start to flow, she reached over to the nightstand and offered Faye a tissue. Ata was really starting to feel like she had more of a connection with Faye. They really seemed to understand each other, Ata had spent many nights crying about her loneliness as well. She was glad that she could be here for Faye now. She took a quick glance at the playful Audrey before hearing a laugh. She looked up surprised to see it was Faye! She couldn’t help but giggle along.
Both girls took a break from the serious talk to watch their painfully silly kitten rolling around curiously. Ata was glad for the break of giggles. It helped her fight of her own tears. She was also glad when Faye changed the subject to something she loved! “I love reading! Especially outside! When I was home I used to go out the the tide pools and stick my feet in while reading my book. Picking a favorite though is difficult!” She paused for a moment trying to think. “I really love fairy tales! It’s fun to be able to escape to the fantasy worlds that are painted in them! It’s like an escape from reality…What about you?” Ata looked out the window quickly, hoping that Faye didn’t find her childish for liking fairy tales.

Faye was glad her parents had decided to rent a car for her. It would make it much easier for her to get around. When she arrived at the hospital, she quickly hopped out of the car and ran inside. The front desk was empty so Faye had to wait a few minutes for someone to help here. "Excuse me, I am looking for Jasmine Labaq." After typing some things into the computer, the lady replied, "Room 233. It is on the second floor." The elevators were only a few feet away so she quickly got in and hit the button for the second floor. She was still in a sort of shock from finding out Jasmine had been attacked. She hadn't known her very long and they'd only hung out once but she liked the girl. She was really nice and beautiful. She couldn't figure out why anyone would want to hurt her. Rumours were circulating around the school about who did it. Faye tried to ignore them though. She in fact shook the ideas out of her head.
The ding went off as the elevator doors opened. She stepped out and walked slowly down the hall looking for the correct room number. "Ahhh, here it is. Number 233." She knocked softly on the door.  Jasmine greeted her with a bright smile when she opened the door. Despite her injuries and bruises, she still looked amazing. "So are you all packed and ready to go? I'm sure you're going crazy after being locked up in this room for so long." She smiled at her, unsure of whether she was in good enough shape for a hug.
Coming Home: Faye and Jasmine
If it was possible to jump with broken ribs that would be what Jasmine was doing right now. She couldn’t wait to get back to the school and see her friends and be able to actually rome free. The doctors had said that even though they were letting her go she should really keep her activities to a minimum but Jasmine never did as she was told. She was going to have fun. Well as much fun as you could have in her condition. She still looked like death. She was still bruised and scraped and her face looked like it had been slammed into a rocky cliff about 30 times. Which in some ways it was considering the doctors decided it was a rock her attacher used to smash her skull in.
She had just finished packing all her things when she heard a knock on the door which she assumed would be Faye here to pick her up. She walked as fast as she could to the door and smiled brightly when she opened it.
