Truly the all time funniest writer thing is when you're doing edits and you think to yourself "omg I've got the PERFeCT sentence to add right here!" and then you stick it in all excited, only to find that literally three lines down you have virtually that exact same sentence in the draft already.

Lil (Big) Life Update!

We're still putting the house together and it's going much more slowly than anticipated because...

I am 10 weeks pregnant!

I'm getting absolutely BODIED by morning sickness and fatigue and have been getting in bed around 7 PM most days. It makes for a difficult time getting the house back to livable condition and also having time for hobbies after working 9-5. Knees Deep is very much still a WIP! I am determined to have it finished before bébé arrives. There is plenty of time to wipe out the last few chapters between now and then. We're cranking on some cleaning this weekend and that should put me in better shape for having space for hobbies, and my morning sickness is moving to more of a "one day on, three days off" kind of pattern.

So that's what's up; supposedly I should be regaining my energy in the next couple of weeks and, body willing, I'll be able to have a chapter up in the next month-ish. Will keep you updated.

RENOVATION IS OVER

We are starting to put the house back together, which means I should have my writing room back within the next week or 2 (depending on how quickly I clean).

I can't wait to be back at it.
