Oh well, I could have found this useful two years ago.
Alright, to ao3's soon to be arriving Wattpad Refugees, a basic guide to general user culture:
1.) Unlike Wattpads vote system that let's you like each chapter, the ao3 equivalent kudos only allows one per work. Everyone is generally quietly annoyed about this. To engage with each chapter, you're heavily encouraged to comment. Trust me, it makes people's day.
2.) Ao3 has no algorithm. By default it's latest updated work first. You can find things to your taste through searches, filters and tags.
3.) 'No archive warnings apply' and 'user has chosen not to use archive warnings' mean two very different things. No archives warnings means the work is free from any content that could require a warning tag (character death, graphic depictions of violence, non-con, etc). User has chosen not to use archive warnings means it could contain any of the warning content, be it hasn't been explicitly tagged. Treat it like an allergen. No archive warnings apply is allergen free. User has chosen not to use archive warnings, may contain traces or whole chunks of the allergen. If you're likely to have a bad reaction, maybe don't take the risk.
4.) Speaking of warnings, ao3 has very few restrictions on the type of work that's allowed. Whatever your personal thoughts or feelings on that are, thats how the site is. You're likely to run across some dark subject matters and a lot of people are uncomfortable with reading that. You're well within your rights not like these works and have your opinion on whether they should be allowed, but harassing the authors of such works (or any works) is more likely to come back on you than them. Ao3 operates on a strong policy of 'don't like, don't read'. Use the tagging system to your full advantage to only engage with the kind of works you want to see.

My brother is obsessed with TTG, and I am baffled. We binged it, and I looked around in the... Fandom? I know the show is lighthearted, but I'm a psychology nerd.
Tw: Abuse, neglect, shitty people in general, mind conzrol and trauma. Progress with caution.
Not many people talk about the abuse Robin faces. I don't understand why is there basicaly no angsty content.
I also want to scoop that boy up and hug him and take him away from those people that surround him.
This boy has no positive influence in his life. Get him a therapyst.
He's neglected. I was sick watching this.
WHAT THE HELL DUDE this was genuinely hard to watch, and even the colour coded idiots aknowledge how badly he was treated.
Oh but they don't get away scott free. The little idiots.
They constantly hurt him (which I noticed is a reocurring joke, but it happens to him so constantly that it's not even humour. It's just... painful.)
What the fuck was that prank?
Considering I know his backstory pretty well (look, I watch enough dc), this prank just makes me want to cry. He smiles. His smile broke my heart. I genuinely started crying, alonside Robin. It was not a nice experience.
So they clearly don't have a problem with triggering traumatic responses.
Robin is also almost always the butt of the joke, even tough he is the leader nobody respects him.
Which would be understandable if he didn't try his damn hardest. He's resourceful and can make the best of a situation.
Like the time he got dance powers (which is just amazing, holy shit I want dance powers).
He found great use of an othervise "useless" pover.
Speaking of useless, his "friends" look down on him because he has no powers. Even though he is capable of beating all of them without it.
Yknow, like in the movie.
Oh yeah, nice recall to the movie the one where they competed with the Super Hero Girls team (love that show).

Oh, I have a google Docs of a wattpad book provided to me by the author, and I got distribution rights. It's a beauty and beast themed one, so if anyone wants it, text me.
Yes, how beautiful your life is. But did you know that more than 40% of Dreamnoblade content, both in fanfics, artists, fanarts and accounts. Are they lost media?
Everything being deleted in the first week of July, after the death of techno. This also covers June 30, which was where his death was announced.
People like nichts have been in charge of recovering fanfics from ao3 regarding Dreamnoblade and Other ships, the fanarts were even deleted from Pinterest and many of them are uncertain where or who they come from (although several have been saved and recovered), and those on wattpad are currently lost.

A crackfic is NOT supposed to consume my toughts... But oh my lady, this. This! This is now something I will die for.
I have another G/T Securitywaiter idea but this time, Ness is a borrower
First night that Mike works at Freddy's he finds a bunch of glue traps scattered around (presumably placed by the previous guard bc they seem somewhat new) and as much as Mike's not a fan of rodents, he less of a fan of the idea of a poor little mouse getting stuck and getting really hurt so he removes all the ones he can find. The first night that he brings Abby along, theres a moment where Abby leaves, to grab more scrap/blank paper or go to the bathroom or something but when she comes back she seems really distressed.
She comes back carrying a gluetrap and Mike is equally shocked as he is saddened by the sight of a tiny human rat thing (Ness) stuck in the glue, he quickly takes the trap but he doesn't currently have anything to help Ness out of the trap so he takes Abby and Ness and speeds back home. He manages to get Ness out of the trap with little injury, some some lost patches or fur and some irritation from the glue. Ness is panicked but extremely grateful, he doesn't want to leave without saying thank you (and maybe asking Mike to help him replace the supplies he left at Freddy's) but he panicking way to much to say anything; Ness is having a panic attack and Mike on the verge of a panic attack and Abby is just standing there like 🧍♀️ "Is he saved yet?".
I don't have much after that but basically Ness starts to talk to Mike and (after Mike convinces himself he is hallucinating) they become friends and then they are so ahocked by eachothers kindness they develop feelings for eachother (Aww, look at the boys so deprived of basic human decency that they immediately cling onto anyone who's nice to them)
Maybe Mike calls Vanessa about it and she's like "I told him that if he keeps visiting Freddy's, he's gonna get caught😒"
Oh yeah, Ness doesn't actually live at Freddy's, he's just stupidily curious and keeps visiting it. Curiosity killed the cat? Nah, Curiosity got the borrower a boyfriend.

Anyhow, I'm non-binary, and I did my research when I went into the binder business. That does not mean this is going to be useful, but whatever.
You need to measure your chest, first, because if the binder doesn't fit, it will be either painful or inefficient.
There are online stores you can search, but I recommend reading the rewievs and such and doing your own research, too. I found an online store where I could convert my chest measurements into binder sizes.
Sorry, I can't provide links, but my head hurts way too much to think much, but I hope I can help you. If you want some useful information, please message me like... in twelwe to fourteen hours when my mind cleared a bit.

I need some advice
I’ve wanted a binder for a while now. Needed honestly, because like five minutes ago I finally realized, that SHIT, apparently dysphoria can cause physical problems. This .. uh.. Explains Some Things.
Nevertheless. Binder.
As a minor, I still live with my parents. Both are accepting and both are Trying to refer by my chosen pronouns (it is Hard to change your habits, especially when your kids been a girl for their whole life, but they are both trying.)
And they are willing to get me a binder. Unfortunately, none of us have any idea how to get the correct size, or where to buy them, or how expensive a good one is, or what stuff to watch out for, or literally any of that stuff.
So. Does anyone have any advice or experience? Please? And in the meantime, is there anything I can do to deal with the dysphoria I’m daily life (especially with my period coming up) - and especially especially at school? Money isn’t a big issue, I just don’t know anything about this stuff. And you can’t really buy a binder at the local target or Walmart or whatever.
