I'm sure it won't happen now given voting but I can't stop thinking about Es and Amane having a moment of solace in each other. They're both avatars representing the masses of their group - the audience and the cult, respectively - and they're basically both puppets for forces beyond their control and knowledge. As Es slowly realizes what they are, would Amane's defenses be cracked as she recognized a fellow tool? Would she reach out a hand, or declare them an enemy still? Maybe she could finally show weakness, and the two could bond over being broken children who are pawns in a game much bigger than them.
