Has anyone really considered the ramifications of Unicron being put into a jar post Beast Hunters? I don't mean for Cybertron or their society, I mean for Earth.
If Unicron is the core of Earth, he is powering everything. He is essentially serving as Earth's battery. So without his spark in there to keep everything functioning, wouldn't his systems fail? Sure even if they just go dormant, that still means no power from Unicron's frame. What does that mean for Earth and the humans upon its surface?
Without Unicron, the planet would HAVE to be on a timer. If your generator died one day, you would lose power. Eventually even your backup would fail unless you got the main one going again. What I am saying is that Earth would have to begin falling apart anywhere between a few years to a few centuries post Unicron being taken away. Wouldn't plant life begin to wither after a while? Wouldn't the climate get screwy? Wouldn't things begin to go to crap as everything that relied on Unicron slowly begins to die? Even if humanity can find substitutes, without a molten core of some sort, Earth would have to suffer serious damage.
Are Team Prime aware that in saving their human companions, they have also doomed a whole species to slow extinction unless they can take to the stars in time?
Just some thoughts.
