Possible Title card
This is a possible title card idea for the FMP. I might change it if I find a better one.
It is just a DRAFT! If I decide to go with this idea, I will animate it better.

8'th of May Hand-in WIP
Above you can see the current version of my Final Major Project Film "Colours of Love".
I tried to add everything in, but I am missing quite a few elements. I will change the intro, refine it and fix the distortion AE did to the file. I have to properly animate the feather, as currently, it is just a placeholder. I am missing a few backgrounds. I have to finish colouring and fix some lining. I will add more effects and pay close attention to details. I have to fix the ending and add a credits sequence. Also, the music is not finished. I will have a better soundtrack for the graduation show.

Showreel
After the crit, I took on board the feedback and added a few more shots from my FMP, deleted the middle scene and extended the last shot.

I animated almost the entire film with Photoshop.

I animated the background transitions with After Effects. I also used AE for other effects and purposes.

I used Procreate for the backgrounds and other draw-related elements.

FMP Progress
I am quite pleased with how this scene turned out.
I animated the character in Photoshop, then I created some textured PNG in Procreate for the wind atmosphere, and then I imported everything into After Effects, where I used a twirling effect and A LOT OF MASKING.
I am very thankful to Steve for his tutorial on using masks! It helped me achieve some interesting effects.
I might re-do it if I have time.

Here is one of Stefania's background transition edits that she did for my film. I liked the idea of the twirling effect. Unfortunately, I didn't end up using her edits, but I was inspired by her idea to create my transitions.
Below I attached a link to the Google Drive folder I created for my Grad Assist team.

I finally got a reply from Holly, and the animation looks amazing! I am very pleased with how the fire was animated. Holly respected my indications and my sketch to perfection. She did an amazing job. I will, later on, incorporate it into the animation with the finished character rendered and then edit it in After Effects.

COLOURING.....
Colouring the scenes took so much more time than I initially anticipated. I have to hand colour everything in or trace an outline, fill it in and then fix the borders… For the elements that have a more defined shape I use the border-fill technique, and for the more loose shapes, such as the hair, I hand-colour everything.

Coloured but not finished!
I coloured this scene with a flat colour and decided to try and give it more life with After Effects.
I added an eco and force motion effect to play around the "dream" motif. I also added a star scattering simulation, which works quite fine.
The only element that I didn't fully mastered was the reflection, which is currently misplaced but will hopefully be fixed!
