ermkay so since some people have gotten upset by what i’m saying here i thought i’d clarify:

i know aria is the most immature one which explains why she is with ezra, i know *why* she is with him

and i’m not calling her immature solely because she is with ezra or anything that has to do with him…she is immature in other ways in the show and it’s annoying lmao, that was my main point…like they had to make the most annoying girl in the group be with him and become even more annoying lmfao…i know she is a victim and it’s sad to see her like (SPOILER) end up marrying the guy who stalked her and fucked up her life. like that’s sad. i know she’s flawed in her relationship but i am not specifically talking about their relationship, i’m also talking about the way she treated her friends like shit. and, beside ezra being a fucking creep, he was immature as well. like besides the age gap and their roles, they were a very flawed relationship anyways and lied and hid things from each other and neither of them treated the other well.

main point being: i am in no way faulting aria for being in the relationship with ezra and im not saying she is anywhere near as bad as ezra. but, i am gonna fault her for the way she treated her friends and the people around her. ezra and aria’s relationship was flawed in a lot of obvious ways, but looking deeper into each individual just made me think they are the worst relationship because they are 2 characters i find annoying in their own actions.

alrighty. i guess i’ll continue watching. not a fan of the pacing though as i said…idk i’ve already aired most of my complaints in previous posts

it’s just a fun slasher giving good homages to classic slasher films; it’s not great by any means but it’s very enjoyable for what it is (same as the first two seasons of the original were for me, they’re just very much different genres)

interesting! i guess i never got stuck on the idea of the show being centered around being a slasher, more just similar to the original show. i feel like viewing it as a slasher vs something that’s supposed to be similar to the original could make me actually enjoy it? maybe?

i think i also just don’t really like the acting, and some parts of the show kind of make it seem like they’re just trying to be “woke” and that is also why i just don’t think i could enjoy it even with the shift in perspective but honestly maybe i’ll have to try again..
