Let me be frank; if you live on Long Island or in New York City, or within a drivable distance to Glen Cove, NY, you NEED to try this brewery.
Noble Savage Brewing Company is a small craft brewery located in Glen Cove, NY. It is owned by a resident of Glen Cove and they make FANTASTIC beers. Lagers, IPAs, NEIPA, Hefeweizen, you name it, he’s experimenting and brewing. 
Not only is the beer fantastic, but the whole ambiance of the joint is spectacular. He made his own barstools, tap handles, and tables. Until the COVID-19 pandemic hit, this brewery was beginning to hit its stride. After the country shut down, he was unable to have people in or keep revenue flowing. Now, he is close to having to shut down for good.
So, head on down there for some excellent beer before it’s too late.

Bear Archery Wild
The Bear Wild was my first foray into the bowhunting world. After doing some research after taking my Bowhunter Safety Course, I landed upon the Wild. 
The Bear Wild is the perfect entry bow for any new bowhunter. With a draw weight range of 40-70 lbs and a draw length range of 24″-31″, the Bear Wild could fit any hunter no matter the size as they enter into the world of bowhunting. 
While not the fastest bow on the market with a respectable IBO speed of 310 fps, the Wild had the reproducibility that Bear Archery is known for. The archery traditions laid forth by Fred Bear have not been lost over time. 
Bear Archery no longer makes the Wild, and I myself have moved on to bigger (and more expensive) bows, you can still pick one up used and it would be a fantastic investment for the new bowhunter.

The Gadsden Flag is an instant reminder of the American Colonial period. Since colonial days, the rattlesnake has been used to portray the spirit of Americans. In 1751, Benjamin Franklin published a political essay describing the 13 American colonies as a snake divided reminding us of the danger of disunity.
In 1774, Colonel Gadsden of the Revolutionary Army emphasized this by printing the legend “DONT TREAD ON ME” on his flag.

I’ll never know what it’s like to be a black man in America. I grew up in a predominately white neighborhood, went to a predominately white high school, and to this day, I have only a handful of friends in minority demographics. 
I grew up the son of an NYPD cop. A large portion of my family are members of various law enforcement agencies, and I was in the NYPD academy prior to a medical condition ending my police career prematurely. 
All that being said, what I saw occur in Minneapolis was like nothing I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. Derek Chauvin acted with blatant disregard for the life and well being of one he was charged to protect. His actions, and the actions of the 3 other MPD officers on that scene, were in complete contrast to how any police officer should act. These four men swore an oath that they completely ignored and they deserve to be punished for it. 
On that same note, it also sickens me to see the rioting, looting, and violence that has stemmed from this incident. I’ll be the first to admit that these cops are in the wrong, but why is violence the answer? It breaks my heart to see good people wanting to peacefully protest and exercise their First Amendment rights, have their protests ruined by those looting and rioting for their own personal gain. 
Pallets of bricks placed on the streets for people to wreak havoc with. Professional protesters agitating the general public and the police leading to chaos and retaliation.
The American experiment is something that I think has lost its value to some. The ability to protest and have dissent against the government and want to invoke change and have a voice is an incredible part of what makes America great. The ancestors of black Americans have fought, bled, and died for this country just as much as white Americans. They are just as American as me, born to a white family from Long Island. 
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” To some these are just words learned in history class. To patriots this is the code our country is based on. Treat all others the way you want to be treated because they are a citizen of this country just like you. 
The first Amendment is such an important part of the fabric of our country that it is was the first Amendment included in the Bill of Rights. Let them speak!
