Guilmon… It had been ages since he’d made that promise, his hope dwindling especially so in the last year. But now, happiness bubbled to the brim. He’d really see him again, really?!
Formulating words right now was difficult, as his excitement took the place of his speech. Internally tripping over what came from of his mouth, only stuttered “Um”s and “Uh”s were hearable right now.
For at least a few more seconds, it was an unspeakable bliss; then he found himself composed again.
“You know I’ll do whatever I have to, to see him again.”

“I hope you guys are excited.” He whispers as he entered the building, remembering where the lab is ever since his internship last summer.
"Listen, I know I haven’t kept in touch as of late. Time’s changing too fast and next summer, I might attend America for college.“
He could find himself urging the words out of his mouth. Afraid of his friend’s ridicule, like old times.
“This is perhaps the last time we’ll ever see each other.”

lmaoooo let people follow whoever they want on tumblr or rp with whoever they want regardless of how the people they follow ship it's 2023 people are more worried about their jobs and see rp as a hobby, they dont get paid enough to write as much as they are doing (least the ones i follow). hint zero dollars. stop bothering them.
some people need better things to do than bother my followers
i think anon just should be disabled. . . . it's literally the most reliable feature to be rude, i see so much unnecessary drama bothering my folks who're busy with IRL concerns.
man some folks are too anal retentive.. maybe thats a personality for ibanking or biglaw, definitely not here... please... and that's coming from me.

what an asshole. Maki could tell that many things changed in the Digital world, but the Digimon before her was still a Digi-douche. Damn it, Maki tilted her head downwards, hiding her expression with her hair. Her lips tried to muster more words but all that came out were,
"So what if Tapirmon's gone. Digimon are never truly gone right? They get rebooted... I'll just find them again..." Maki spoke.
A few seconds had passed before she stared at the soulless Digimon in the eyes, now angered by what the beast has spoken, "Why kids? Why do you all decide to fight children who had such a close bond with their Digimon?? Is that not heartless? Do you not have a heart? Why is it that Digimons bond with only children...? And how come you all don't have a partner?" She snapped. So many questions spawned out of those questions in her mind. She couldn't help but wonder, the same curiosity that leads to despair.
He could feel the bitterness in her words, and his head tilt ever so slightly to the side. If he could give a smug grin, he absolutely would. Instead, his silence returned for a few minutes, more or less processing what she said, resurfacing memories of old.
There was only one thing that came to mind.
"Searching..."
There was a low hum to his voice. He could easily piece things together- it wasn't that hard. And given how things had gone in the past- he was honestly surprised at how well she was keeping it together. It baffled him, really.
"You are quite dedicated to finding your lost companion, aren't you? But to no avail, even after all these years? It seems like a waste of time. I believe it is safe to say that..."
"They. Are. Gone."

There was a tremendous amount of hype in her voice, "Alrightyyy!" The female responded in English. She immediately began jolting around the area, like an anime character. Head moving quickly from left to right, as she stared at all the luxury stores around her.
"How about... Canada Goose? I've always wanted one of their Puffer jackets... you know how cold it gets in New York!!!" She complains, with a loud chuckle and smile in her face. Drinking her cold boba, "Whaddya think??"
Mimi really is the best. She totally missed their little joyous little adventures back in NYC-- how they're able to reconnect now. As she made her way into the store, she was completely shocked at the asian aesthetic within the store. It was extremely beautiful and the puffer jackets were in all sorts of fashionable colors-- cream, beige tones that she loved!
"Mimi, oh my god! Look at this, this is so cool. What you all have in Japan is just too neat!" She walked with the female around the store, in a humorous manner, striding her way towards the puffer jacket aisle, the flagship of what made Canada Goose in the first place. "Look! Oh, what do you think President Tachikawa?" She asked with a snicker, poking fun at her friend's position in the e-commerce store. Wow, a Canadian Goose Puffer Jacket, Menoa would kill for one of those.
Completely expecting some kind of affectionate greeting, Mimi was prepared - despite the amount of things she had in her hands. It was easy for her to keep her composure because of that very reason. Before her friend could take her drink, she glanced at it to make sure she knew which was hers. Once she did, she happily gestured to her bag. "I picked up lots of snacks too! Help yourself to whatever you want.~" Since she had no idea what kinds of snacks Menoa wanted, she just opted for whatever sounded good.
"Mhm! I'm happy to finally to catch up. Everyone is alwaaaays so busy." Sometimes it was hard to accept, but she always managed to keep herself as busy as she could. When her friends did meet up, it made the wait worth it.
"You get used to it." She replied in a warm tone, not all that bothered about it. When she lived in the states, it was no big deal to her. "It's refreshing either way." Content with her drink, she took a long sip as she listened in.
Aha, so modest! She waved off the woman's worries. "Don't worry about it. If you see anything you want, it's on me. Okay?" Today was a special day to Mimi, so it was their chance to live a little. Or a lot, depending on what they found. Now that they got that out of the way... "So...where do you wanna go first?"
