He stood up from the table, grabbed the back of Deku’s shirt to pull him away, and put out the fire with an extinguisher. “Dumbass.”

This was why he had to watch the idiot when he cooks.

There was visible marks on Denki’s skin and clothes. “Katsuki… I think I fucked up your grenade - Sorry…” More like he fucked up himself with the grenade.

That depends on Bakugou’s definition of ‘good’. Denki can make partially edible – in his mind anyway – things. Though, to most people, it was definitely not something that should be considered edible.

Well, when he showed up he did mention he didn’t give a shit who it was. He took some random recommendation, but to be frank this lady looked like she just walked out of a bar then a damn teacher.

“Cut the crap. I’m not here to bullshit about the power of friendship, or some other random crap I couldn’t care less about to pull out of my ass for a satisfying answer.”

He clicked his tongue, tone sour and annoyed before he scoffed. “It just means not being weak. To protect. Especially those that can’t protect themselves. That good enough for you?”

He had no idea why he was taking recommendations, but the damn nerd was getting stronger way faster then he cared to admit. It was frustrating since Katsuki had to work ten times harder to just fucking keep up with everyone else. So, he after that shit at Kamino he started looking for other avenues besides his usual.

He needed a new teacher, and this was the best think he could come up with to distract from the fucking bullshit those shitty villains put him through. “Hey, I heard there was some… teacher or whatever here. Teach me to be stronger dammit!”

Well, she doesn’t look like a teacher. Not that she ever would. She knows about as much about teaching as she knows about parenting, which is to say, nothing. Still, no one has ever asked her for help like this, and been so blunt about it. How could she refuse? 

“Stronger? Do you even know what that word means? Do you even know what being stronger would look like? Seeking strength is all well and good, but if you don’t have an idea of what that looks like, you’re just wasting your time, kid.” 

“What does strength even mean to you, anyway?” 

The blond looked more like a pleased cat as he walked beside the redhead noting the stupid grin on his face. He said nothing before reaching into his pocket to to pull out a handkerchief before cleaning off the other’s face of the blood letting the other use it to stop the bleeding a bit. “Only you could have a grin on your face after being punched.”

He snorted before they got to the nurse’s office. Leaning against the doorframe as Recovery Girl cleaned up the wound, cocking a brow at the decline of special healing. “You don’t have to go that far, idiot. I already said I accepted your apology.” Katsuki pointed out, but pulled off the door to head back for the dorms.

Katsuki made a face as the other swore but said nothing knowing it hurt, but the wide grin that came after reminded him of that damn nerd and a puppy all at the same time. A small little smile appearing on his lips as he glanced at the other glad he realized his mistake. There was a bit of blood and tears, but honestly he was just impressed the guy didn’t fall over.

“A bear, huh? I’ll take that. But let me come with at least since I did fuck up your face.” He mentioned, just to make sure the other wasn’t that hurt, but also because he wanted to make sure the other was aware he wasn’t upset anymore. Wait, was he seriously sprinting? Well luckily for Katsuki he could keep up.

Well he had started sprinting, not at all thinking Katsuki would tag along, but since he did Kirishima slowed down to walk normally. He tried to grin wide again, happy, and it hurt so he went ouch ouch stupidly. It didn’t put a dent in his joy, however. He had been so scared to have lost his friend, the relief nearly hurt.

“You don’t have to come, you know.” Kirishima pointed out, even if he was grateful and it showed. “I totally deserved that punch, and even more. I still don’t know what came over me. I panicked and all blood left my brain, I guess.”

They probably got weird look, with Kirihsima’s face smiling through blood. But not that much, because it may look like a training that went a little messy. The nurse was not surprise, just sighing before taking care of his face. No broken nose, and Kirishima refused special healing. Just checking the bone, cleaning it, and getting a bandage on it.

The mark was clearly visible, but Kirishima didn’t care. The nurse seemed confused as to why he’d want to keep the trace of it, but the redhead claimed it was the proof of his shame, and she let it at that.
