soooo do all the women who have fought tooth and nail against the notion of women being inferior to men mean nothing to her compared to men who want to be women or...?

I was at a courthouse once, and saw an indigenous australian woman in a dressing gown very carefully and gingerly making her way down the steps outside the courthouse, surrounded by family who were helping her down the stairs. We asked if she was OK, because she looked awful. She looked like she should have been wrapped up in bed with blankets and hot soup, not on the steps of a courthouse.
One of her family told us that she had given birth yesterday evening, but that Child Protection services had taken her baby away with no warning, claiming that she wasnt prepared to look after him. What had happened, is that she'd literally only just given birth -- hadn't even passed the afterbirth yet, is holding her blood-coated, crying, newborn baby to her chest -- and a nurse asked what her feeding plan was. She was tired from the birth and distracted by the brand new baby in her arms and thrown off by the timing of the question, but still, she managed to answer, and said she planned to breastfeed him whenever he was hungry.
Well apparently that wasn't enough of a plan for the hospital staff, who reported her and claimed that she was unprepared to look after the child, and claimed that had no social supports, and that the baby was at risk if left with her. All because a brand new mother, 30 seconds after giving birth, didn't have a PowerPoint presentation ready to go that cited the timing cycle she would feed her kid on, and instead simply said that she would feed him when he was hungry.
Child Protection services showed up, took her kid, and she was told to show up to court the next day to contest custody if she wanted her baby back.
So a woman who had given birth less than 24 hours prior was forced to rally her family and show up to court to prove that she a) had a feeding plan for the child, and b) had enough social supports to justify reclaiming her baby.
It was one of the most appalling things I'd ever seen. I don't even know if she won her case. They didn't know at the time we saw them, and after that brief interaction on the stairs, i never saw them again. I sincerely hope she got her newborn baby back.
That was about 5 years ago. And the exact same kind of thing is still happening today.
News broke today from a South Australian whistle-blower of the appalling treatment new mothers frequently receive, including hospital staff taking the baby away from the mother "for medical tests," only for the mother to then be told, with absolutely no prior warning, that the baby was not going to be returned to her.
Here's the article, and here are some excerpts:

i cannot explain how the phrase "los abusadores son hijos sanos del patriarcado" (abusers/rapists are the healthy sons of the patriarchy) changed my life. when you're faced with statistics, when you realize women are at higher risk around men they know and trust, it really changes everything.
and when you realize rapists aren't just some creepy-looking guys walking at night, that phrase helps you understand a rapist can be a man close to you, a man you know, a man you trust, a man you think would never do that, any seemingly well-adjusted man.
and given how hard latinamerican feminists are fighting to bring justice for women murdered by intimate partners like boyfriends and husbands and fight for abortion rights for little girls abused by male family members, we can't dismiss rape as a crime only committed by terrible men who can't adapt to society or say "real men don't do that".
it could be any man. that's the point.

the absolute cope of gendies desperately trying to convince themselves that they've ~existed for thousands of years~ and that there's "archaeological evidence" of nonbinary people is just so funny to me because literally all they can come up with is just further proof that their "gender identities" are based on stereotypes. the supposed "trans people" of ancient history that they cite are always, like, gay women and men who crossdressed for safety/practicality purposes (women who wore pants) or fetishes (men who wore dresses) or in an attempt to pass themselves off as a straight couple with their same-sex partner, or women who so desperately wanted to do more than be sold off to the highest bidding man to be treated as a barefoot broodmare who was only allowed to sit at home and sew and embroider and pop out as many babies as her husband demanded from her that she chopped off her hair and put on "men's clothing" and pretended to be young boys so they could work, or young slave boys who castrated by pedophiles and forced to be their "wives" because they were the receiving partner in homosexual activity, or men buried with jewelry with no regard for what that man's culture actually may have thought about the significance of jewelry, or women buried with weapons with no regard for what her culture may have thought about female warriors, or--
they don't have anything. even today, their "science" gets debunked and they just resort back to gender stereotypes and fucked up shit like "i've been addicted to porn since i was 8 and i've always wanted to be a brainless fuck doll for men because that's what women are so that makes me a woman."

im thinking of jobs that involve contact with the private area. doctors, beauty salons, tattooist/piercer. they all wear gloves and work in sterile environments, also the worker is clothed.
im thinking of jobs that involve saliva. also doctors, covid test stations. again, sterile environment, worker is clothed, probably even wearing a mask, and gloves.
im thinking of jobs where the worker has to get naked. actors and actresses, models. they are at least supposed to have a coach on set and an agent supporting their safety.
none of this is implemented in prostitution and never will be because it destroys the illusion of it being about sex and not money and power exerted through it. sex cant be regulated or professionalised and thats beside the point that with all possible regulations it is still unwanted sex.

Teenagers who are pushed towards transitioning aren’t “pushovers” they’re mentally and emotionally vulnerable young people who shouldn’t be allowed to make life-changing medical decisions. Acknowledging this fact isn’t stopping adults from transitioning. It just aims to stops other vulnerable teenagers from doing the same.

More Americans (or really honestly everyone outside of Korea where it originated) should be aware of the 4B movement. Korean women were so fed up with Korean men's misogyny that they decided they were not going to date, marry, reproduce with, or have sex with men.
This movement has begun to spread to other portions of the world and for good reason! Women everywhere are sick and tired of misogyny. We're tired of being told we should just "settle" for abusive, manipulative, useless men who contribute literally nothing to our lives! We're tired of shrinking ourselves for men's comfort. We're tired of giving in time and time again to whatever men want in order to keep the status quo.
I think every woman that's fed up with how women are being treated should at least seriously consider joining the 4B movement themselves!

MELONI-SURROGACY:Surrogate parenthood is 'inhuman', Italy's Meloni says
Surrogate parenthood is an "inhuman" practice that treats children as "supermarket products," Italy's prime minister said on Friday, urging parliament to pass a bill to prosecute those who go abroad for it.
Tumblr media
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni remarked about surrogate parenthood being 'inhuman' during an event. (REUTERS)
Parenting via surrogacy is already illegal in Italy, punishable with jail and fines, but the right-wing coalition of Giorgia Meloni has vowed to impose an even stricter ban on it as part of its conservative agenda.
"No one can convince me that it is an act of freedom to rent one's womb, no one can convince me that it is an act of love to consider children as an over-the-counter product in a supermarket," she said at an event in Rome.
"I still consider the practice of uterus renting to be inhuman, I support the proposed law making it a universal crime."
The Italian parliament is discussing a bill drafted by Meloni's Brothers of Italy party to prohibit Italians from having a baby in countries where surrogacy is legal - such as the United States and Canada.
The party's position echoes the Vatican's.
The bill, approved by Italy's lower house Chamber and now at the Senate, has been criticised by rights groups and some opposition politicians who see it as targeting LGBTQ people.
"The issue cannot be tackled with universal prohibition, but with regulation that balances the rights at stake," ex-foreign minister Emma Bonino told daily Corriere della Sera this week.
