I’m so so sorry you’re forced to endure gowns and ballrooms on Gowns & Ballrooms: The Series. I too am abashed and disgusted that the ‘I simped so hard for my wife that racism ended’ show is pointedly refusing to tackle industrial factory conditions in between falling into lakes wearing see through white shirts and getting fingerbanged on the carriage ride home.

I just remembered one time in like sixth or seventh grade (we had the same teachers and class both years so hard to remember which) somehow we got into a debate of “who is better, boys or girls?” and instead of stepping in to stop it our teacher formalized it and egged us on by providing thoughtful prompts and counters to each side and by the end each group had built a barricade of desks on either side of the classroom and we were throwing balls of paper at each other and screaming about personal hygiene while our teacher just watched and enjoyed a Baby Ruth candy bar.

you know, a lot of haunting could probably be solved by providing ghosts with proper enrichment. ending up with blood writing on the walls? provide a box with flour or kinetic sand for words to be drawn in and patterns to explore. dealing with weird moaning and wailing? set up some instruments they can whistle through and make something more constructive. your ghostly houseguests are probably just bored being stuck in the physical world and unable to interact with anything. did you ever think about that Susan? no, you only think about yourself
