About Me

Evan Kase has prior career experience with Hilco Valuation Services, a Hilco Global company, which performs diligence duties for traditional and complex ABL transactions, with a focus on financing events related to M&A, carve-outs, bankruptcies and restructuring.

In his role at Hilco, Evan was responsible for analyzing the working capital structures of medium to large (including fortune 500 companies) and providing in-depth analysis to potential private equity, bank, and/or hedge fund investors to assist in the creation of lending structures and loan availabilities. Deliverables to potential lenders included both written descriptions of company findings through working capital analysis utilizing a variety of applicable financial models with a focus on collateral quality.

Evan Kase was a U.S. Associate at BMO Harris Bank in Chicago, IL for approximately two years. During his time there, Evan focused on the following as part of his job responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management - Prepare capital structure and complete underwriting of new credit and capital markets opportunities - Support relationship team in identifying new areas of investment/ banking opportunities to diversify client portfolios and increase potential revenue generation - Monitor client, client industry and regulatory agencies for potential changes which may affect client’s portfolio and business needs - Prepare concise credit analysis and other correspondence for use in managing client financial standing and goals

Capital and Credit Risk Analysis - Conduct analysis of client capital and credit risk - Review and continually monitor performance of existing accounts and client relationships - Conduct due diligence that includes on-site client visits, analysis of business models, and comprehensive review of industry trends and related regulations

Financial Modeling and Analysis - Create financial models for use in analyzing prospective lending opportunities

Partnership Efforts - Participate in deal teams to develop, present and win mandates for new opportunities - Partner with Relationship Management staff for accurate, detailed client information - Coach and mentor individuals in the Analyst role - Reader with Working in the Schools (WITS), member of BMO’s AACE group (diversity based affinity group)
