One of the things I aimed for with Eva -Eve- is to have no exact bad guy. Every character has their own morals based on their upbringing and it's too complicated to say, for example, Etesi is the "bad guy" because she DID do some good and she IS supported by the general Shari population.
On another note, concept art that I forgot to put on here is queued now. They'll show up at about 4PM PST for the next few days.

Drew a portrait of Etesi, Mary's mother, for the project. I changed her eye color. Not sure whether I'm keeping it.
She has some good points now when she takes over the government. She raises minimum wage, puts better laws on child abuse and thievery, makes murder inexcusable, and, though keeping a large military budget still, shifts the government's budget more towards the people (it was more focuses on the military before). She also helps fund several science fields like astronomy, puts in laws about lights off during the night, and funds several city art projects.
Admittedly not the best idea, she also funds projects on new technology, but mostly encourages weaponry for the war, especially explosives.

I won't be coloring this due to restraints on time.
In French we're required to make a fictional city for a presentation, so I decided since I have to anyway for this show I would go ahead. This is generally the clothes you would see in the Shari capital. The clothes are sometimes interchanged because gender isn't a huge deal on that planet--the only difference is that the boys don't wear their wraps around the waist.
The Shari side of the world is very cold because it's never facing the sun. The winds help keep it warm; it brings the cold air out and the warm air from the other side in, keeping their side habitable. Even so, temperatures never have risen above 70 degrees Fahrenheit, a very lucky temperature in the summer, and it can go down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter (an average of -5, thanks to the wind). The first is summer, second winter, third summer, fourth winter.
