hen and chimney buying maddie's engagement ring and going "we're gonna have a wedding!" is making me laugh so hard to see in this, the week leading up to said wedding. the embodiment of "honey, you've got a big storm coming." they have no way of knowing just how wild this wedding is gonna get

The thing about Buck is that everyone wants a piece but nobody wants all of him, and the thing about Eddie is that he has a hard time wanting something with all of himself but that’s how much he wants Buck, and the thing about Buck is that he never knows what he wants or makes his own choices but he always chooses Eddie, and the thing about Eddie is that he only makes choices that are for the benefit of other people except he chose Buck for himself

nvm
sometimes they would not fucking say that but the story is fun enough that you’ve just gotta gloss over the lines where these stupid repressed thirtysomething men sound like queer 19-year-old twitter users

My catholic raised ass saw that shot of Eddie and thought about religion (specially the stations of the cross, more specifically station 10).
Do I think this was on purpose? No probably not. Do I think the image of Eddie with his arms spread and his clothes being torn off his body is extremely symbolic anyway? Yeah I do.

a concept: the scene where buck and eddie get together as a direct parallel to the coming out scene. they're talking in eddie's kitchen, the conversation gets a little charged; they're trading heated looks; they kinda know where this is going but they're too afraid to say it. and then buck says, "i should probably go." and eddie nods and says quietly, "okay." and buck is halfway to the door, his hand on the knob—eddie is leaning against the fridge, watching him with wide eyes—there's a close up shot of buck taking in a deep, shuddering breath, scrunching his eyes shut—and then he's whirling around, striding back over to edde and grabs his face with both his hands and just kisses him. and he pulls away almost immediately and they both stare at each other for a moment, their chests heaving, neither of them daring to say anything—but now it's eddie's turn and his hands are in buck's hair and he pulls him back in and they just kiss and kiss and kiss against the fridge in the dying afternoon light.
