Not to be a whiner but it fucking hurts that AO3 has nearly triple their donation goal already... while I'm struggling to raise funds for my family's necessities to live.

Like full offence to everyone who donated after they already surpassed $50,000, there are a hell of a lot of people who could use your money way more right now, and I don't even mean just me. Go do something actually meaningful with your donation funds and buy an eSim for Gaza or something!

By mid-December, when Gazal’s family arrived at Nasser Medical Center—then Gaza’s largest functioning health-care facility—gangrene had set in, necessitating amputation at the hip. On December 17th, a projectile hit the children’s ward of Nasser. Gazal and her mother watched it enter their room, decapitating Gazal’s twelve-year-old roommate and causing the ceiling to collapse.

UNICEF estimates that a thousand children in Gaza have become amputees since the conflict began in October. “This is the biggest cohort of pediatric amputees in history,” Ghassan Abu-Sittah, a London-based plastic-and-reconstructive surgeon who specializes in pediatric trauma, told me recently.

So the "food" that the US dropped to Gaza is MREs. Expired. Saw a stitch of this video from a woman saying this is the same thing they did with Hurricane Katrina survivors.

MREs are shelf stable for 7 years. Total. These ones were over 15 years old.

And ofc there were people in the comments being like "ummm well our military eats them just fine, they were expired when I was in the army too" THATS NOT OKAY THO?? NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO EAT EXPIRED FOOD!

Fuck the US, fuck the Israeli government, and fuck you if you think that this is any kind of help to the people of Gaza. They're starving to death and the US is sending expired applesauce while also giving bombs to their murderers.

By the way tumblr has a massive creepshot / candid community dedicated to recording, harassing, groping, and assaulting women (and of course that includes minors). They post these videos and sell / trade more explicit ones, basically an entire porn ring run right out of the backyard of this wonderful site. Multiple reports on my end have done nothing but lead to them just remaking & multiplying in blogs and ultimately the videos and photos still get spread enmasse. Seeing footage of the aftermath of the flour massacre in Gaza is so painful

Over 100 have been killed. Every single one of them hungry. Every single one of them has someone waiting for them to come back with the bag of flour.

Just premising this with the fact that Aaron Bushnells self immolation was felt by all palestinians in Palestine and in the diaspora because the idea that someone so deeply upset by what he saw happening to Palestinians at the "hands of their colonizers" decided to self immolate in front of the israeli embassy was a shocking act of solidarity. And that being said this extraordinary act of revolutionary suicide is exactly how you should perceive palestinian resistance who go out and battle one of the most funded armies in the world just so one day palestinians can be free of this occupation and colonial oppressor. Our resistance are not "crazy fundamentalists" they are occupied people who have bore the scars the occupation gives them and woke up and said they will not take the chains binding them anymore. Right of arms is the right of any anti colonial movement and we can't imagine the level of faith they must have in a future free palestine to battle million dollar tanks and drones and soldiers equipped with the latest weaponry
