catch me in 5 months time suddenly having a mental breakdown when I remember that izzie went to casey’s house knowing that only her mom would be home just so she could spend time with her.
she wanted to get to know elsa not only because she’s in love with her daughter, but because she’s exactly the kind of emotionally supportive parental figure that izzie has always craved, and even though she couldn’t chose the family she grew up with, she can chose the family she spends forever with.
