An officially licensed 1997 Super Mario quiz book from Germany mostly used official art for illustrations, but sometimes made simple edits to it, like this artwork crudely edited to be overweight for a question about digestion.

In Mario Golf: Super Rush, Toad’s spots on the sides of his head have been moved forward, so that they are no longer evenly spaced. The regular Toad model used in all other games can be seen on the right. The reason for this is unknown.

Feast your eyes on one of the strangest low-fives I have ever seen:
Manic: “Man, that was close!”
Manic & Knuckles: “Euhhh...”

In Mario Party 7, one of the events that can happen during Bowser Time on the Windmillville board is Bowser sending Koopa Kid to steal coins from a windmill. While there is special text for Koopa Kid failing to steal any coins, there is no distinction in Bowser’s reaction between stealing a large amount and a small amount of coins. This may lead to a unintentionally humorous reaction where Bowser treats amounts as small as 1 coin as large sums of money.
