Thirteen, the main character of [ERROR!]. They were responsible for the cave-in that caused their town’s demise, and are on a quest to apologize to the families they destroyed with the support of the other survivor, Kue. Since the accident, they lost any sense of self-worth, feeling they don’t deserve anything good. They still have an eye for adventure and the will to climb whatever is climbable. They are enamored with the Above, seeing beauty many have lost sight of.

Here is Sar! He belongs to both [ERROR!] and OFF. His origin story is in OFF but he takes a more prominent role in [ERROR!]. He became a famous tailor, but retired after his wife and child passed away and his other child disappeared. Though he keeps it as a hobby and does kind favors every now and then. He is a well reclaimed psychologist, specializing in therapy now. Having started before his wife fell ill.

The cracks in his face and the strange appearance of his eyes are usually ignored out of respect, though for those he did ask would receive the response that it was the result of losing his family.

Paxton, aka Mr. Fear. He loves to dance and has a strong fascination and adoration to bugs. He was born with a weak right leg muscle so he’s always had walking aids. He was adopted as a child but then again adopted to conduct tests on other people. He escaped and gained the name Mr Fear for his ability to influence the environment based on someone’s fear (think Vecna from Stranger Things).

Kue’s updated design. He loves birds, so he studies them and carries around a bird identification book. His rings and shoes indicate how much he’s obsessed. Kue is very friendly but naive, and he refuses to delve into the despair everyone else seems inflicted with. He is on his journey with Thirteen to reunite with his parents.

Pepper - Modest and kind, she wishes for everyone to be friends. She will do anything it takes to help even if she becomes a hinderance.

Wolf - Stay away. Will not cooperate and threatens anyone who comes near, especially if someone gets too close to their friend, Elf.

Elf - Shy and naive, they stay close to Wolf.

Crow - Reserved and quiet, he is also very observant.

Axl- Eccentric and loud, he involves everyone, whether that’s good or bad. Everyone is his friend.

Besides Crow, everyone needs a new name. If you have suggestions, I’d appreciate it!

Delilah - A blind ballerina who seems to appear out of nowhere. She doesn’t seem to take the others seriously.

Zarha - An energetic girl who likes to annoy the others. She would rather avoid their grave situation in favor of having fun and causing mischief.

Farmer - A cryptic farmer who prefers to observe than be of any real use.

Eve the Thunder - Passionate and fierce, she won’t sugarcoat anything, but is sensitive to how others feel. She isn’t afraid to take any situation head on.

Wei - perpetually annoyed, she prefers to be alone. She’ll help if she’s needed, but would rather take naps.

Some names may change, I’d appreciate suggestions, particularly for Enui, Marco, and Phoenix!

Enui - She avoids the others and keeps her eyes averted. Gloves, a mask, and apron are her normal wares as she is a severe germaphobe.

Gordon - A silent man made of anxiety. He’s willing to help the group but wishes to be left alone at all times. He speaks in short sentences with a deep voice.

Oleander - A regal purple lady who takes the leadership role. She believes in logic above all else, and dismisses what others feel.

Francis - Intimidating and blunt, he looks after the group. He loves to cook and garden, but should be put in jail for his cooking.

Marco - A little shit. He pokes and prodes the group, wanting to cause as much discord as possible.

Phoenix - His calm demeanor is welcoming, seemingly able to melt any cold heart. He helps manage the group.

I want a caveat to Thirteen essentially being immortal. I don’t know if the consequences are enough, but I love the idea of them losing their memories when they die, from the last point of death to their current death.

WIP of Thirteen’s mom saying some vile things to them. I wanted to test how well I did with her head angles. I think I’ll tweak the second frame.

I didn’t want the embodiment of Death to be humanoid. So I’m trying to figure out a creature to represent it. I was thinking of a creature that looks like an amalgamation of a graveyard. These were just ideas I wanted to document, but I like it! I want the creature to have no discernible features. I was thinking if you’re pulled into it’s maw, it’s like a black hole that sucks you in. It’s “face/mouth” is a 2D shape, but looking within from certain angles looks like it has dimension. I also had to think of different ways gravestones are shaped because my stories aren’t placed in our world.

Thirteen confronts Sar, and it doesn’t go well thanks to Paxton.
