My current concept for this blog:
There will be a pretty hard limit on meme reblogs, seeing that I'm the world's worst at keeping up with (prompted) inbox content. I may make my own memes here and there, but I'm not sure how far I'll go with that.
As mentioned above, it's really just prompted inbox things that I have a hard time with. My inbox is open to whatever you would like to send. It could be a knock-knock joke, your favorite cornbread recipe, or a list of reasons you hate my blog. Or, you know. Send something IC for random Sheo encounters. Idk. I love that shit.
Not gonna be doing any more starter calls or open starters. Instead, I will be doing prompt calls. These will be—for the most part—planned from start to finish *before* the prompt call is posted. However, that does not mean that there is no give and take in these interactions. Think of it like D&D. The trajectory of my plan could change at any moment, but that all depends on the choices that you, as the writer, make. Please. I'm begging you: keep me on my toes.
All necessary content warnings will be included *before* any interactions, and all posts will be properly tagged. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me at any time. Do so for any reason, really.
These prompt calls can go any number of ways. For the time being, the only scenarios that have crossed my mind are regular threads and prompts that you can turn into your own. I'm hoping for a hybrid of the two so that I can actually finish some threads for once in my life while cranking out the new ideas that I crave regularly.
I'll expand on this later, but this is the best I could do in the time I had. Hopefully, it makes sense. If not, that's kind of fitting for a Sheogorath blog, I guess.

haven't been here because life decided i was busy. i have some pretty neat ideas for this blog, mostly in an attempt to approach roleplay in a different kind of way. i'll wait until those ideas have actual substance before doing anything with them. they're cool tho. don't worry.

i am a firm believer in the sicko4sicko relationship. characters who are obsessed with one another not in spite of, but because of, whatever bizzare or offputting or unusual things they've got going on. guys who look at each other and go "you're the only motherfucker in this city that can handle me" and they're probably right too. rivalries romances obsessions built on mutual hate undefined Close Companions. any sort of Thing. sicko4sicko.

Sheo is so busy being in a toxic relationship with himself, it’s no wonder he needs the Hero of Kvatch to get anything done.

SHIPPING INFO // answer the following for your muse so people know how shipping works on your blog.
WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER(S)? pretty much the only person i ship sheo with is haskill, and even then, he would have to be written by someone i know and trust.
HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? in all honesty, even if we put aside the 'only haskill' rule, sheo would likely only go for other immortal beings. his only real interest with mortals is watching them die spectacularly playing his games so they can 'live' in his domain. that said, i don't fully understand the sibling aspect of the daedric princes, and i just don't want to mess with that. thanks.
HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED N.SFW? i start tagging once the thread ventures into something that could be considered a firable offense. hence the 'for work' part. my own job is not that strict, but the new algorithm has me worried by showing me strangers' posts. if i see theirs, how do i know they don't see mine? so, even heavy kissing could get that treatment.
ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? very. extremely. i have never written a single-ship muse, but most of my blogs defaulted to one primary ship.
WHO ARE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH? still just haskill.
DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU? yep. by all means, come talk to me. just be aware that consent is very important to me, as are boundaries. i will not be making exceptions.
ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS? i ship when i feel it serves the development of the characters in an interesting way. in the past, this would lead to a lot of cracky ships, but it also led to a lot of connections that i still carry with me. there's a lot of crossover there.
ARE YOU MULTISHIP? despite all appearances, yes.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM? i'm new here, so i'm gonna say the same thing I've mentioned thrice already: sheo and haskill.
FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU? come talk to me. plot. develop some things with me. send me memes, give me headcanons, scream into the void. we can bat some questions and ideas to each other, and we'll see where it goes from there.
tagged by: do i look like i wait for someone to tag me? tagging: do what you like. burn it all down.

This is a documentary.
Herbacious Moray and Sheo in the same room may as well be the brain eating meteor episode of Billy and Mandy. It’s illegal for me to be wrong.

Everyone's got something to say, screaming for change but staying the same—expecting the cycle to break. // I don't want your cure; I don't need your savior to give me a sign of life underneath. I just need to know how to heal the hollow to keep the optimist alive in me.

————— Throwing mental spaghetti at @suresly last night got me thinking about Jyggalag's Great Library. There aren't many indicators as to how far his knowledge went, but we do have this quote from Dyus :
The great library was the height of logic and deduction. Contained within its walls were the logical prediction of every action ever taken by any creature, mortal or Daedric. Every birth. Every death. The rise of Tiber Septim. The Numidium. Everything. All predicted with the formulae found within Jyggalag's library. When Sheogorath discovered the library he had it burned, insisting that it was an abomination and that personal choice defied logical prediction. I am all that remains of the knowledge contained within the great library of Jyggalag.
Based on this, we DO know that Jyggalag's knowledge rides solely on logic, order, and deduction. We DO NOT know what Jyggalag qualifies as 'logic, order, and deduction'. Sure, Jyggalag is ( /was ) the Daedric Prince of Order, but his version of order in and of itself could subjectively be called 'chaotic'. Conquest may have rules, but there is no order in war. How would this affect his calculations? What does he seek when he says, 'order' ?
We DO know that there were predictions based on these subjective criteria and that many of these predictions did come to pass. All that said, we DO NOT know their true accuracy. Yes, he knew every birth, but how far did his predictions go? Did he know the names and faces? Did he know the parents? Did he keep track of the moons for the Khajiit? His demeanor implies that he wouldn't care to. How extensively did he look at death? Did his predictions go all the way back to indirect causes ( ex: prolonged exposure to a specific plant in childhood making someone more susceptible to the illness that ultimately claimed their life ), or was everyone a statistic with no further meaning beyond what they could contribute to his numbers game? Events can be predicted through careful calculation, yes, but the world is filled with prophets who only speak of their successes. Were all of Jyggalag's predictions accurate, or only the ones we know about? With that in mind, what does that mean for his initial transformation into Sheogorath? Could he feel the Madgod taking over the same way that the Madgod can feel him? Does the battle between the two ever really stop?
The Sword of Jyggalag alone kind of implies that the Daedric Prince of Order did have access to all knowledge. However, the purpose of his library isn't really specified. Who would be reading from it? Surely, it wasn't him; he has his own ways of knowing these things. It was by his hand that the library and the sword were created. The only 'BENEFIT' that a place like this would bring to someone else is limited foresight, but there is little order in that. The only other answer could be governmental.
In a lot of ways, Sheo was right to burn the library. Because even if everything that Jyggalag ever predicted came to pass, even if he knew every single event in the history and future of Mundus and Oblivion, even if he were never wrong;
none of it really matters.
Jyggalag did little more than document turbulence, ergodicity, and chaos. All that he has ever been or was ever meant to be was the tether for chaos—destined to stay in one immovable place as his real self flies at whim, spinning around and around and around, just to get wound up and fall back into merciless entropy.
