Hey! What’s Going On With EROS Lately?

April 2013 will be EROS' 21st Birthday and we've got a bunch of plans for the club. As we lead up to the occasion, we are adding a few work out touches to the lounge. A great nautilus elliptical was just added to the lounge. We'll be adding rubber flooring this weekend to that area and soon another piece. The machines  placement isn’t permanent, but transitional and functional. This is a short term addition, as we plan on upgrading our locker room and making the smaller one a fitness center. When that happens the lounge will get a whole new makeover.

We have plans for upstairs too, and have just upgraded all the television monitors to large flat screens. Come April, a lot will have taken place and by Pride, we'll be shiny.

Why the elliptical? EROS has always been a center for encouraging a healthy community and relationship with our bodies. We’ve had a licensed massage studio for well over a decade, weekly yoga offerings for over a year, and a gentle cardio machine was a no brainer for us to consider. It also is a catalyst to redo the locker rooms. Will this take away from the relaxing nature of the lounge? We don’t think so, it’s off to the side, quiet and won’t be in use all the time. We think it will add a little energy, but not distracting. So far, the staff have been very excited about the prospect.

We also should be adding wi-fi for our members soon.
