regular reminder that TERF is a misnomer, because you can't be a transphobe and a feminist at the same time.

1- Transphobic people claim that trans women are inherently dangerous because they have a penis.

2- In their mind, having a penis is what makes you dangerous.

3- Meaning that the nature of people with penises is to be dangerous.

4- Which is removing the agency of people. If it's biological, they're not responsible for their actions.

5- The whole point of feminism is to dismantle the idea that people will act a certain way due to their genitals. We cannot demand to be treated as people with agency when we have a vagina, while also removing that agency from people with penises.

6- The whole point of feminism is agency. Dismantling the patriarchy and toxic masculinity, both things that don't require a penis but sure do require people to make choices.

They adopted the word TERF because they still claim to be feminists, but they are not. They are hateful, spiteful, and their choices endanger other women, cis and trans alike.
