Alex smiled softly as she woke up to the feeling of warm breath of her stomach. She glanced down to see the head of ginger auburn hair, mussed in the early morning as his lips met her stomach again. One hand came down to comb through his messy hair, drowsy still.

"Was it growling?" She asked curiously as she felt her stomach hitch under his warm lips.

Alex loves the idea of both she and Eric having a second chance with each other. She isn't exactly sure what Eric wants besides to be together but she knows about his ex-wife who tried to murder him and how sad he was about losing the child that he thought was his. She likes the idea that this could be their do-over.

While she and Eric have had a hard time conceiving, that is something that she really wants with him. She even likes the idea of them splitting their time in between Montana and Germany and wherever else they want to go since they both love to travel. The idea of three or them or even two of them traveling, camping, enjoying being outside, and generally living their lives together really excites her.

She gets worried when he is on jobs, most of all after he was shot that first time, but she loves waking up and him having snuck into bed with her in the middle of the night.

"I miss you." She knew that she wasn't supposed to say that. But every second he was away, every moment, she missed him and his goofy, toothy smile, how he woke her up with pancakes, even when she didn't want to eat, how he goofed off on the porch with Sam late at night and how much effort he put into that relationship.

"When you're gone, I dream about waking up in that humid tent when we're camping. I swear I wake up hearing you breathing and feeling your body heat beside me. I know its lame and all in my head. But I do. Because sometimes...I think I made you up. I guess thats the bigger secret."

Whenever one of them wakes up before the other, they will leave each other little notes on the dresser telling them where they are going and also normally something dorky and loving.

Eric and Alex are the couple that still goes on dates and slap each other's bums when they are in their 80's and 90's. They are disgustingly affectionate with each other and when they have a kid, they take great joy in using it to embarrass them.

When Eric is away, Alex will go to the dinner each and every morning and have breakfast in the same booth that they had their first breakfast date is. When he left that first time and she told him that she would wait right there for him every morning, she meant it. And she meant forever. Thats actually where Ian found her when they first met and he came to tell her that Eric had been shot.

Eric still wonders if Ian and Alex are playing a trick on him by getting along so well. Because how is that a thing?!

// I think today's the day I'll revamp my blog a little aka changing tags so I can remember them better, finally making new posts for the threads so I can finally post them, perhaps drop some to start something new idk, etc. Maybe not, though. Maybe that will be next weekend since I got four days off.

I really wanna be here more often. I miss Eric, I miss writing with you guys. But my mind is entirely on my other muse @dontcxckitup and it's so much fun writing him and just asdlfkjasdflkasdf

You two are the oldest friends, you made a deal with them correct? To save your late love, they tried to hold their end of the bargain, really, but I fear you are cursed to forever be despondent. Oh what a sad and miserable life without love. Is that why you chase loneliness? For is it truly a life of sorrow if you yourself has chosen it? But don't become bitter from the pain. Trust when I say I have seen wounds unfold a man, turning the gentlest spirits into seething beasts. Please, keep seeking love, even if it seems you are forbidden from it. You are the master of your own fate, I see how tired you are. The scars never healed, they twist and wrap around your entire person. Your eyes are dark and lifeless, rest. But keep fighting, not with the sword you have forsaken so long ago, but with your heart. I'll be rooting for you my friend.
