finals countdown: 4 days
today was the last day of covering new material before finals! i've finished all of my "normal" homework for the term, so now it's just a few more days of intense studying and then i'm done. in some ways this is my favorite part of the term - i get to study in my own way, on my own schedule, and then show off all the things i've learned at the end of it.

23.02.2024 // moving to a new country and starting my PhD. it's always a task to settle in but I've become better at it over the years. right now, I'm enjoying not having any social obligations and perhaps, I've become better at being alone as well. I can't wait to get consumed by my research (while complaining about it all the time).

2.2.24 | February started with a rain shower; there is now a small pond at the base of our outdoor steps. Lately, I haven't been motivated to do my language studies at all, but I've been consistent in my early morning readings of War and Peace & I've been progressing steadily through a collection of Pushkin's lyric poems & сказки. Today, I managed to finish my review of Mrs Dalloway & my thoughts are still stuck on that book. ♡ 𝑁𝑜𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑖
