A vent on the fandom + cg
If you dont wanna hear any negativity, please just ignore this post. It includes dissatisfication on the yttd fandom and ongoing belief in it. I'm not going to use very kind words here, so just ignore this post. 3b spoilers included.
I like yttd so much, but the english fandom, i cannot interact because how toxic it is. Even the smallest different of which route you choose, will attract anyone to abuse, harrass, ridicule or humiliate you. And to be truth, there are many of them who are so judgemental, to the point that there is only one thing that are right and the other are wrong. Black and white mindset. The term "canon route" is what fans created itself. I guess there are many of them who are teens or kids, since most of kids who havent grown up yet tend to lean towards black and white mindset, even if they believe they are not. If you find people who keep arguing especially on social media, you can bet that its teens. Adult are too tired to involve in things like fighting with strangers. There is one time when the poll asked your age and the age range quite small to teens age. I guess thats why i think so.
OTHER THAN THAT, THERE'S ONE THING I'M ANNOYED WITH. ABOUT THE CG AND HOW THE FANDOM DECIDES THAT THE MORE CGS, THE MORE CANON IT IS. To be perfectly honest, i'm the one who came up with the analysis that on certain route 2-2 ending the cg is more. But people really use it the wrong way and now thought that anything that has more cg is the canon route. The word canon route is wrong in itself, who tf come up with the term canon route in yttd? Is the reason for creating two route is for one to be canon only, or for sparing different characters, or for having different storyline? (I personally think that on different route, the story will change and the ones who got to live at last is probably different ). Now i see those who misuse that information everywhere. "In sou route 2-2 ending evil joe AI dont even have new cg but in kanna route he has. See how biased the devs are? he should have drawn more if he really meant the route to be the canon one. Kanna route will get happy ending, sou route is bad ending." I think thats stupid. B*tch, he keep reusing his old art here and there. You can check for yourself. Joe and midori has same hand based on the cg? He's just reusing the hand art. The arm in 3b and 1-1 is the same arm he reuse. Sou and kanna 2-2 ending basically use the same sou drawing, he just changed it a bit. Sara in 2-2 kanna ending use the same cg as when keiji try to calm her in front of computer, he just changed the face. Midori and sara on the 3b game screen cg basically use the same cg in the 3b content, but changed a bit. So i can think why need to create new cg when joe is still malicious as the hallucination in 2-2 sou ending? If i want to create something i will also reuse this to save my time.
So if you wanna really use this cg argument, then maybe you can consider why alice memory game got so many more cg than reko's? and how ranmaru gone insane has so many new sprite and pose with the hair like that. And why when dummy is dead they got cg's. Especially the ranmaru dying one, he got moving cg's and how it was put more effort into that. Then that means dummy dying is actually the canon route since when they alive they got no addtional cg? This is my assumption, but i think the devs just do as many cg as it takes depends on how impactful the scene he's working on, not because its canon, thats really a lazy take if he is actually unwilling to do extra route but still forcing himself to do it anyway. Imagine if dummy is dying but no cg, instead a message " ranmaru/mai/anzu died ". Do you think that will really give impact to you? This game clearly hinting that joe is going to be the spotlight of the game, even in 3b. So when sou set the real joe ai in kanna route for sara, the script is written for the real joe to genuinely react to sara. of course thats going to be heartwrenching since joe himself is the very important part of sara's life. When the script is made that way, lacking of cgs will hamper down the storytelling nankidai genuinely want to deliver. All i can say is it come from the heart of the author himself. If it is just only text for something as tearful as that moment and no cgs, it wont really touch the feeling isnt it? It is the same with alice memory game that tells about how alice "kill" midori. I'm not sure how many it is but atleast there is 3 cgs with one of them has variant. The story of how alice kill midori is also important and should have impact, thus the extra CG's. I can say its about being passionate and indulged in the storytelling.
I dont even know if joe will ever heal sara in sou route, but based on how the story still keep joe relevant til the end, then there must be something that need to happen between them in the end right? Nankidai even made sure that sara see the dog keychain in 3a if player probably choose to not ask gin about the dog keychain he's hiding in ch 2. Its also for relating ranmaru and joe. Having closure or conclusion with joe in the middle of game is still valid, and having a closure with joe at the end of the game is still valid. Imo, having closure with joe at the end of the game after all of those suffering involving him makes the better climax or impact for sara chara development since the game build up to highlight joe and mr. Policeman, it can be even better if all of it are to be pull together in the ending.
Even if the devs has route he prefer, he's not abandoning any route he less prefer, only if its true that he ever have a route he prefer. Plus you dont know which route he's prefer if any. He's taking his work seriously, it just some "fans" looking down on him, even to the point calling him biased, he's punishing the one who take another route, treating like he only use his career for egostatiscal reason (it somehow clearly mirrors that you are the one who egostatiscal to the point of wanting to find any excuse to punish other, you just using the devs name to validate your mindset). If he's dislike people who chose that route that much, then why create that route? If he know its tiring to make alternate route, then why still make the choice to let 3 dummy alive route at the end? It will make more work. I can only assume its out of passion, or just that he deep down wants the character to be alive atleast in a route ( idk if this is correct, i just read google translated version of his public fanbox that he's actually very reluctant at first when the time comes and "crying" so hard when he had to kill joe in chapter 1. So the part where he wants to spare some character is only my assumption ). By this punishing logic, shouldnt he not make alice die when you push reko ai to spare gin, and only do it to those who dont push the ai to save gin by killing real reko? I am more sure that the variants is to tell a different story or who to spare, and specifically for who sara actually was.
Happy endings? I'm not sure. I've expected that once from story with a lot of deaths, wishing for atleast the protagonists alive. Anime or story with a lot of death is definitely my jam, but from what i see, most of them has bittersweet ending, it depends on how the author wants it to be. Some author dont mind killing them all till the end, and some author just easily kill them all because they plan to revive them later. And everyone sense is different. Some japanese people sense in storytelling is a bit different imo. As the one being the audience, happy endings is the most common wish the audience wants. But its all up to the sense of the author. This is why i'm annoyed with some kids from overseas who rarely watch or play many things that involves a lot of death from japan suddenly says that this "one happy ending, this one bad ending! Everyone will survive in this route, everyone dead in this route"
Just play any route you like, nothing wrong with that. Whats wrong is to start this war of ridiculing others or have that irritating attitude towards those who play their own first route and start bad mouthing or desperately throwing bad assumption that one route will end very bad just for the sake of feeling better for your choice and to scare others. You do know that when you read a book, you'll only know if the overall story is good or bad until you know the ending right? The ending will conclude everything that happened. What happening in the fandom is now like, you only read 3/4 of the book and already expecting that this one will have good ending and bad ending. What if its not about the binary, but for the difference in direction? Its not that bad if the story of the book is kinda predictable, but with how plot twists become the main part of yttd's charm, its getting more difficult to predict how it will end. There's a lot of story which was masterpiece in every part as seen by fans, until the ending hits. Its what the author wants, but its not what the fans wants.
If you pick fights with others, even passively, the consequence is all on you. Good luck taking care of your mess.
Thats why i'm reluctant to publish any theory because the fandom will always use it as an excuse to pick fights with other and say " i'm more right bcs i got this proof" . U see in my caption i dont want any of those harasser to even digest my theory. If you are one of them get out of my blog.

The blue and red person symbol that keeps appearing in YTTD and its meaning, an analysis + theory
So at the very start of the game you get to choose who you support, mr. Blue or mrs. Red. One of them dies if you support the other. COINCIDENTALLY, i think that the two person symbol and color keeps appearing in the game. This is just my interpretation. My english is not that good, sorry. Spoilers up to 3B.
Tumblr media
As i mentioned in my previous posts, i noticed there are so many foreshadowing and hints dropped by nankidai, even in YTTS and his day to day sketch. I'll use that as my basis here.
The blue (sometimes teal) is a man and the red is a female. In manga, they make it more obvious by putting a king crown and a ribbon on the symbol on the sacrifice card option.
To start off, blue and red keep appearing in the game. My interpreation is the blue man is the previous survivor and the red is a woman that looks like sara in hades incident. My bet is, the man who wanted the girl to win used sacrifice card (either possesed by him or her) to win the final round and them both is the last two survivors. However, one of them must become a doll and unfortunately the girl dies by becoming a doll. How did i reach to this conclusion?
In 1f, there are two rooms with door colored red and blue. If you notice, this color pattern keeps appearing til chapter 3.
In blue room, you see the painting of meister and 9 chairs. This room possibly tells a lot about him, the previous male survivor, but i didnt think much about it right now. He probably likes russian roulette or being familiar with it. While in red room, it tells about the girl that looks like sara.
- BLUE ROOM -
Tumblr media
Russian Roulette happens here. Blue (but teal color is used instead) and red bullet is used. If you shoot the blue bullet, the person lives and if you use red bullet, the person dies. Sounds similar with the man and the woman in memorandum ? I still didn't think what those 6:3 for blue:red means, maybe how the previous survivors got to live by scoring 3 more points more than the woman in something after they got to be the victor using sacrifice card? It can be similar with the event where you choose whose opinion you support at the start of the game . Its 2 vs 1 , 2:1 and by multiplying with 3 you got 6:3 .
Tumblr media
Another things is, about the 4 humans and 5 dolls sitting on the chair. If we didnt count the extra participant that pass the first trial ( nao, joe and kai ) it made up to number 9, same with the number of chairs. I still didnt think that deep yet but maybe 4 humans means there will be 4 survivors at the end of this game (if this game didnt go 2 person using sacrifice route). But the 2 dolls that has been shot by blue bullet still gives me question. It can possibly mean one is hayasaka/kurumada/mai but the other one? If i'm not mistaken we didnt see what is the color of gin's lamp in the banquet? But still midori and meister really believe that gin's lamp color is blue, so maybe gin is blue after all? Unless they too didnt know that gin is possibly a doll, maybe he get switched?
Or the other doll been shot with blue bullet may mean it is midori's another doll that keiji secretly switch it on when he's missing in 3b ( if he's appearing again as midori 2.0 then we got f*ked up unless he got programmed another way ). Keiji appeared, but the midori's head is not with him.
or it's Joe's doll that we only seen for seconds in chapter 2. I speculate that we will see his doll again somehow in the end (the story build up onto that). But hey, there is one sketch about final part hints that has joe in it, isnt it?
OR if thats not it,
4 chairs on the upside of the room can represent Sou Route, and 5 chairs on the down side represents kanna route by the number of survivors at the end of 3B.
Keiji, Qtaro and Kai is on the up side, and only Joe is on the down side. Considering kanna route, Joe got more highlight too compared to Sou route. Idk if the stairs is relevant to be deciphered or not.
Ok because what i'm gonna say after this is gotten real ABSURD and ONLY A MERE SPECULATION but also can become a food for the different routers SJW to fight brainlessly i'll just not talk about it. I hate that part of yttd fandom. Good luck. Move on to the next.
- RED ROOM -
Tumblr media
/ not everything is in the pic, eg. the bear doll, the opened tile /
Most of the things in red room is incomprehensible to me yet for the lack of hints from the game but there are things that i kinda get.
1. The clock
In the digital clock , it shows 28.75 and player has to convert it to 5.15 on the traditional clock to get going. If you switch the h:m , it becomes 15.5 , the percentage of sara's victory in ai test.
Before this i tried to interpret it as birthday but its not quite right. I get 15 May but Sara's birthday is on 18 May. Then i thought maybe it is the girl in memo's birthday or the day they all got kidnapped. But since the % paper is found in the red room i guess 5.15 on the clock is actually 15.5 % . Maybe the girl in memo had the same % as sara so thats why the 2nd death game can happens because they are similar? The man she see in the red room is possibly meister or the previous survivor.
2. The bear doll
That doll suddenly has blood poured out from its neck. If you look at the picture from the memorandum, it kinda looks similar, atleast the blood part?
Tumblr media
-------
This doll was not visible when you first entered the room, after the lights out it suddenly appears. This doll is the reason why i think the girl in memo dies by becoming a doll, as the red room implies about her.
If this theory is not right, then maybe that memo girl and sara is actually a special doll that got filled with artificial blood. But thats not a strong theory.
However, the only possible reason my first theory can makes sense is that the final victim conference will only end until only one survivors live, which still can make that the girl in memorandum still dies in third victim conference. Will elaborate more on the period length of 3rd victim conference after this.
There are many things i cant interpret yet in the red room:
- Candle that need to be light up, just on the window : i dont know if this is even correct or not, but at first it was dim, then it lit up. Candle as i google translate means rousoku in japanese. If you switch the intonation it can sounds like korosu, which means "to kill". Is this symbolize that the will to kill others lit up in her at last, or is that the other survivors suddenly want to kill her at last? Or its just she is the light or the center attention of the game. Idk if its even close lol.
- The two light source and cracks on the ceiling : ok so this part i'm not really sure, but the two light source can either mean joe and ryoko or joe and keiji. It is possible that the memorandum girl also has the same circumstance as sara (best friend and a man that his views alligned with her since this room is about the memorandum girl). but i will make it easier to type by referring to the case of sara. that light source symbolize her light for which keiji and ryoko can be that role in her life too other than joe. the crack near the left light source possibly relates to joe, the cracks continue to the cabinet that has the clock, may means that joe is the reason her % gets reduced or that she is heartbroken when joe is dead.
- The red water under one of the tiles : it comes from the crack, but idk if it will symbolize anything or just used for convenience (not to scare players etc). Saying that sara is getting more dark thoughts or being haunted by hallucinations after joe is dead is safer than to say joe or sara is a doll that has fake blood, maybe. It kinda makes more sense with hallucinations since at first sara thought it was blood, but its just a red water (something she only imagined as blood).
- The other boxes
- the secret passage/locker
- the dark windows
------------
That Symbol in Chapter 3
We see the holding hand symbol in discussion room on 4f. The man is blue and woman is red too. A human and a doll must hold hands to open the door.
My interpretation:
The discussion room symbolize where the two survivors will go only if they wins by using sacrifice card or by killing others. The part where only 1 pair can go in the room strengthen this, meaning no more than 2 person can unlock this "route". Idk if maple mentions this in the official release of game or it was from scrapped content, but she did said if there are only 2 survivors, they got to live together for some time and discuss who will be the doll. Its the same of the name discussion room. Furthermore, we found "RED" book from this room which can mean sacrifice and the girl in memorandum itself.
Either way, the existence of 1 obstructor in the discussion room maybe mean that who lives in the end depends on whose opinion the obstructor support? Maple also only kills those who are not human. At the very start of the game we have to choose to support whose opinion too. Plausible.
----------
Relation with Red Book and Blue Book
There are 4 books in total, red, blue, green and yellow.
Tumblr media
Idk about yellow and green, it can relates with keiji and midori tho.
- Yellow book: Physical Exam Information of participants ( Keiji has access to civilain information when he is a police at some point, maybe. Or keiji is really good at analyzing other people behaviour as in chapter 2 ). But can also be hayasaka's.
- Green book: How to Beat Maple ( The way the book is written annoyingly is like Midori's, and he really used these tricks to be safe )
For some reason, the memorandum man and girl resembles sou and sara a lot.
- Blue book : Shin Tsukimi AI Test Data
- Red book : (the title is not mentioned)
The fact that Sou got spoiled a lot by his parents, has sibling but they live in the orphanage, having midori getting close only to him for years to collect the data for the book compared to other participants, must mean that Sou is somehow special to the game itself. In addition, Meister who wears the same suit as they grey haired man has a moon symbol placed behind him in the banquet that can possibly mean "Tsukimi".
Sou once said he overheard that he actually got sibling, but he said he "get out of the house because he overheard something he shouldnt heard". Knowing himself having a sibling is not a strong enough reason for him to get out of the house, so i guess he heard more than that.
On the other hand, Sara's non-biological father took a very good care of her too until a certain date. Alice's parent felt unhappy for not getting a female as their first children, and treat him like a girl, while reko is treated as boy. Alice is also first found in the red room too. Is this a coincidence? Is it that if the Yabusame's first children is female, then sara's position in the game will be taken by her? I can only assume that chidouin and yabusame family has some rivalry history, which dont even have any evidence to support that.
Back to the blue book, Sou is really gonna be the blue man. The condition when the book was found is wet and in a closed space that are hard to reach. I can only think of it as he is a loner who are hard to approach, rarely go out, and he is a gloomy person ( the word gloomy is mostly used by shin himself in chapter 2 in his dream, and sometimes gin describe his smell is like that ).
There must be a reason why only the title of the red book is not mentioned yet. But i bet its about the memorandum girl, the sacrifice, the creation of the doll-AI, the game or sara herself. Since it alligns with the red woman symbol from the start.
3 Coffin Lamp Color and It's Meaning
Blue - Human (Memorandum man alive)
Red - Doll (Memorandum girl dies, and i theorized that she'd became a doll )
Yellow - Vacant (Not sure if this has another meaning, but kinda Keiji-ish)
Thats it. Just curious why the game put so much time into foreshadowing the sacrifice route.
update : so I think I understand now why in the art book cover sara's color is red-ish and not purple and why Sou color is not green-ish (a bit different than kanna's) but blue-ish instead.
ofc qtaro and nao is almost similar but thats not really important now after 3b

11.8) The が Particle [Part 2]
Welcome back to Kakehashi! This is my second and last post about the が particle.
Last time we looked at the 3 ways that が is used to introduce new information in a sentence. That sounds fine and all, but maybe you have run into this situation: You have one sentence but two が particles! What in the world!? Have no fear, let’s talk about what is going on in these situations! It’s not as crazy as you may think. First, here is your vocabulary:
Tumblr media
【The Relative Clause が】
I’ve mentioned before that Japanese is a very noun-centric language. When new words come into the language, they usually enter as nouns. The language also works in a way that it is very easy to modify nouns.
Let’s take the noun ケーキ. What can we do with this word? Here are some possibilities:
attach は and make it the topic
attach が and make it the subject (new information)
attach を and make it a direct object
attach に and make it the endpoint of existence
modify it with a clause
Let’s go with that last option. A clause is basically a sentence. You need a subject and a verb. If I want to talk about a cake that *I* bought yesterday, I can put that information in front of the noun like this:
①{昨日買った}ケーキ
If I want to talk about a cake that *I* put sprinkles on, it would look like this:
②{スプレーをかけた}ケーキ
Notice that in examples 1 and 2, I didn’t say WHO bought the cake or WHO put the sprinkles on the cake. The reason is, if you leave that information out, it usually automatically means that it was the speaker that did the action. Now, look what happens if I want to talk about a cake that *my mother* bought yesterday:
③{昨日お母さんが買った}ケーキ
A clause that modifies a noun like this is called a relative clause. Specifically stating WHO did the action of the relative clause requires the が particle. However, this が only has jurisdiction inside of the relative clause! It is NOT the が that marks the subject of the bigger (main) sentence.
Here are two more examples:
④ 私は{昨日お母さんが買った}ケーキが{好きだった}。
= As for me, the cake that my mother bought yesterday was liked (by me)
= I liked the cake that my mother bought yesterday.
⑤ 私には{そんなに日本が好きな}理由が{ある}。
= To me, there is an “I like Japan so much” reason.
= There is a reason that I like Japan so much.
In examples 4 and 5, we have the が particle attached to a noun that is modified by a relative clause - with its own が particle. Woah. In these situations, just think of the relative clause as its own mini-sentence with a が particle. Then look “outside” the clause for the main が. That will mark the subject of the sentence.
【 Phrases That Require a が】
The next two examples do not contain any relative clauses. Instead, they both contain phrases that require a が particle. Let’s see how this can lead to situations with 2 が particles.
⑥{どの生徒が}{頭がいい}?
= WHICH student (as the subject) has a good head?
= Which student(s) is/are smart?
Example 6 is requesting new information. The part that requests new information (an interrogative word like who, what, etc.) will USUALLY* require a が particle. The thing that is tricky about example 6 is that the already-known information ALSO requires its own が particle!
頭がいい is a set phrase meaning “smart.” When you use a set phrase that needs a が in some questions, it will lead to having two が particles.
⑦{トムが}{猫が好きだ}。
= It is Tom (as the subject) cats are liked
= Tom likes cats. (nuance is “the one that likes cats is Tom)
In example 7, it is possible that the speaker/writer wants to state some neutral information about Tom. However it’s more likely that this sentence is an answer to the question of “Who likes cats?”
At any rate, using the noun 好き requires two nouns: the “liker” and what is being liked. Usually we would mark what is being liked (cats) with が and the “liker” (Tom) with は. However in this case (answering a question), we would actually use が with the “liker”. THIS is what leads to two が particles in the same sentence.
I have good news for you. There is a way to avoid two が particles in these kinds of sentences. You can simply drop the second が particle! Your new sentences would become:
どの生徒が頭いい?
トムが猫好きだ。
Native speakers would hear these and “fill in the blank space” with が in their minds. For us, it’s very helpful to be able to drop the が when we talk/write/type because it’s one less particle to worry about! It also helps us develop the ability/skill of “filling in the blank” with particles that native speakers drop naturally.
【Replacing が With の】
Now take a look at the following examples:
⑧{像が}鼻が長い。
= Elephants (as the subject) noses are long
= Elephants have long noses.
⑨{エルフが}耳が長い。
= Elves (as the subject) ears are long
= Elves have long ears.
⑩ {果物が}オレンジと梨が美味しい。
= Fruits (as the subject) oranges and pears are tasty
= Oranges and pears are tasty fruits.
⑪{オレンジと梨が}色が違う。
= Oranges and pears (as the subject) colors are different
= Oranges and pears are different colors.
These examples are similar to the last section because they all contain phrases that require a が particle. In the above examples you can also drop the second が particle with no change in meaning. But why then, did I make a new section?
The reason is that we have an additional way to avoid using two が particles. In examples 8-11, you can either drop the second が OR you can change the first が to の! Our new examples will become:
{像の鼻が}長い。
{エルフの耳が}長い。
{果物のオレンジと梨が}美味しい。
 {オレンジ梨の色が}違う。
The meanings are exactly the same but now we only have one が particle. This actually helps us because the nouns we focus on, go from 3 down to 2. It may be mere milliseconds, but connecting 像の鼻 and 長い saves us time and thinking power compared to connecting 像、鼻 and 長い. Since native speakers are more inclined to use の and が instead of two が particles, it’s also helpful to be aware that you have this choice available to you.**
【Conclusion】
In conclusion, there are a few situations that may lead to hearing / seeing / needing two が particles in the same sentence. However, there are also clever ways around using two がs.
If it’s a relative clause and the person doing the action is the speaker, the 私が is often dropped. Phrases like 頭がいい or 〜が好きwhere が is technically required, often get the が particle dropped. Yet another tactic is to change the first が to a の.
Keep these “tricks” in mind when you listen to native Japanese and you might find that once-confusing sentences and questions will suddenly make more sense to you. All it takes is a little awareness of what’s going on and your comprehension can jump to the next level. Trust me, it’s an amazing feeling!
 😉
Speaking of amazing, that’s how I feel now that we have dissected the major particles of Japanese! (Actually, we’ve focused on the main case particles. Case particles attach to nouns in order to tell us what role the noun plays in the sentence.) We’ve also talked about the role of は (which is a different kind of particle). At some point in the future, I plan to talk about the も particle, but not right now.
Thank you for your time, likes, reblogs and so on. I feel the ❤️and believe me, it motivates me to keep going. I have many more ideas for posts, activities and different kinds of practice. I also would love to hear your requests, opinions and comments, so don’t be afraid to get in contact with me.
Let’s get better at this thing called Japanese - together!
Rice & Peace,
– AL (アル)
👋🏾
* It is possible to ask the question in example 6 in a slightly different way. You could ask “頭がいい生徒は誰ですか。” In this case, you wouldn’t use the が particle.
** Replacing the first が with の is only possible with examples 8 - 11. Doing this in examples 6 and 7 would result in strange Japanese.

Does YTTD will ever have happy endings?
Do you believe that? Idk. I cannot say i believe but cant say i doubt either. I keep reexamining old stuff nankidai already made and i believe that nankidai always dropped hints of future chapter from the beginning of chapter 1, but what i will explain is my interpretation. Real stuff might be different. Will explain below. YTTS spoiler
Ah yes, i dont think any hints dropped by nankidai is trivial. Most of the trivial stuff he dropped actually come true in future chapter, just not that obvious/direct.
This is just a sudden reaction, but there is this one ending of YTTS when you can escape with touko and rei with boat.

If i remember correct, its not a happy end. No happy end in ytts. I cant upload more than 10 pics but it said that they believed that they will reach the harbor, but it never reach, then the text after that really hit me real hard because it said like everyone thinks there will be a happy end, the escape is the happy ending everyone would come up with, but in the end they never reach any harbor. It feels like it was talking about the players or possibly sara. Then this "???" Dialouge come up. I believe the one who said that is sara, she cant bear watching the happy end everyone thinks of, possibly because she is the only one survived. But there is the other person who **sniff** , possibly the other survivor/or maybe their dolls or safalin. In yttd, you can win w/ 2 person but one must become a doll. I wonder why the game set it up like that. In the manga they even make that two person symbol is male and female. Future hints? On the other ytts ending the ??? only said repeat but in this end and the other sara end has special dialogues. It can implies that sara is the only survivor or she survived with someone else. And she is saddened when she see that they can escape altogether (before their hopes crushed) in one of ytts ending. She said she cant see this end and it will only hurt her. It gives her trauma. But when mishima escaped in sara end, she seems more heartless or unreactive? Maybe she already accepted the fact that only 1 can escape that she didnt care and just repeat. Ok but why i suddenly thinks she is the only survivor/or with one more person? There is one sketch of nankidai that only sara wins, and then miley celebrates with the reward for sara to watch video compilations of all the events of the game. Kinda similar with how ytts set up. Sara is watching all of them. Looks like loosely connected but it all match ups with the setting. maybe i will tell other theory that is already hinted from chapter 1/sketch to chapter 2 and 3, maybe when i have free time. So thats why i dont take this lightly. Unless there's actually a plot twists or nankidai already changed the story. I think the last mc of ytts, sara, will have something special that summarize all of the events. Idk how to say this, but hoping nankidai to not kill of more chara in 3-2 is like a pipe dream when he's already merciless with latest chapter, idk if i can even hope that there will be more survivors. I just remembered the other sketch of yttd as machine where there is input and output. The input is someone who are curious about the game and the output is.. that person get out and is having bad mood/miserable/something that are not happy. But it was drawn long time ago when only chapter one is out at the time if i'm not mistaken. I'm not sure if the context is intended on chapter 1-2 or overall game. Thats it........ But then there's someone who still thinks one route will have happy end and discourse other person who play the other route 24/7 just for the personal satisfication to make others feel bad and feels superior for chooshing the "right choice", well if you know how yttd english fandom is like full of minor/kids with superiority complex that have so much time to argue with everyone everyday 👀 idc what is your opinion, what you think of the end or you are right or not, its fine either way, but if you keep tryinh to pick fights with someone else instead of not engaging in something you dont prefer, your life will also rewards you with people trying to pick fights with you, disrespect you or life will be filled with stressful things becuase you keep trying to argue and spend so much time to think and counter every reply of the statement/arguments you made. You get what you give. Sorry for trailing off but tbh yttd fandom is not that safe anymore that it kinda become main issue everytime anyone just wanna made any statement/opinion. So i have to write this to shoo off certain someone

About the YTTD “final part ending hint” tweet
https://twitter.com/nannkizum/status/1190485061163859968?s=20
Tumblr media
“No way this picture is a hint of the final chapter ... No one knew at this time ... END …… “ / 2019
3B SPOILER
i’m curious why nankidai use the word “this picture” and not “something in this picture”. its like saying the whole picture is the hint.
Well it can implies sara might become police and keiji got arrested or something, and joe reappear somehow, if its just a portion of the picture. but as a whole?
the picture also shows all of the survivors in sou route (except joe), which can mean that its for sou route..but the word happy end is totally weird, it kinda comes off as a joke/troll to me. but japanese people comment took it quite seriously, so idk.
but the things that make me more confused is why nankidai hanging it tilted? it totally looks uneven there. its like the right side is heavier than the left side. Does this mean that at the cost of happy end, the one on the left side (shin, gin, and keiji) will have to suffer? Or that all of those suffering is what it takes to get happy end? Means that the happy ending weighed and worth more than the sufferings they experienced ? Or does this mean that there’s less likely to have happy end in any route or without sacrificing someone? NGL this was posted on 2019 after chapter 2-2 was released.
or he just mixes up everything from both route in this, but why there is no kanna/reko/alice drawn together? Or maybe  Sou being in the picture might also be his doll appearing in last chapter since we see that standing straight shin sprite (his back from 2 years ago didnt bend over yet).
yep the most curious part is why it was hanged uneven

Misconception about Shin's Wish in Sou Route
3b yttd spoiler
I just realized this when i look at the script back again.
And it has to do with shin's status on the paper .
Why there is no revealation that kanna is his sister in sou route?
Its easy. Because meeting with his sibling is not his wish to asunaro, and that his real wish is already fulfilled. Midori dont have to explain that part since they both know that his wish is already fulfilled and revealing who is his sibling has nothing to do with his wish being granted. While on kanna's route, if you look at it, the wish of reko, alice, qtaro, and gin is already fulfilled. It will leave question on whether kanna's wish is granted or not for meeting her real family.
Everyone got confused because it mentions two things at the same time.
This is the script: ------------------------------------------------- Sou: My... wish...? / Ehehe... What's this now, Hiyori? Midori: C'mon, tell me. Money? Freedom? Power? Sou: Let's see... / ...Well there's something I overheard my parents talking about once... / I might... actually have a sibling. Midori: Huh? Is that right? Sou: Not sure what gender they are, or wether they'd be older or younger... / I just figured I heard something I shouldn't have, so I got out of there right away. Midori: ...You want to meet them? Sou: W-Well... But I'm sure meeting the likes of me would just disappoint them... Midori: Ahaha, don't be like that. / Let's do it like this, Shin. I'll grant your wish. / And you... should become the person you want to be, so you can meet them proudly. Sou: Y-You can meet me with them? Really...? Midori: I can do my part. Can you do yours? Sou: Urk... / I... I'll do it. I'll become... the person I want to be! Midori: Haha... Who I want to be today, "asu-naro" - tomorrow, I will be. We can call it the Asunaro vow. / I know! I'll make an agreement form! To give form to your determination, Shin!
-----------------------------------------------
So the real wish of sou is : to be someone he want to be. It makes more sense why midori said if i do my part, can you do your part?
What is that part? Ofcourse, midori teaching shin about IT, and shin willingness to learn about it. It results in him coming over to his house often to learn.
If you notice , shin is more likely a NEET based on the clues given on yttd and ytts. His parent spoiled him, he dont want to burden them, always find a part time job to prove that.
His wish is to be employed. In japan, NEET is seen as bad thing in general, and he saying his sibling will be dissappointed meeting him is because he is probably a NEET. Its word twisting, but his wish is to be employed so that he can meet them proudly. He feel anxious meeting them with his current status.
I think that explain why he is self-employed now. You can do IT as a work yourself. Maybe freelance. That explains his hacking skills.
But the way midori worded the vow, as if making shin an asunaro. Who I want to be today, "asu-naro" - tomorrow, I will be.
So he probably got turned into asunaro right at that moment.

YTTD 3B SPOILER + RANDOM THOUGHTS
NGL, if yttd gonna make canon ending is on reko/kanna route, Then I'll say this: ---------------------------------------
Its "Your Brother's Turn To Die" lol. Everytime they give us the choice to spare someone lives, it always between brother and sister. 2 times already. So if that route gives happy ending, then maybe its unfortunate for every brother here lol. Or also can be "Men's Turn to Die" Since there is like 12 characters that has been alive at the very start of the game, then i'll count those . The other chara that died early has been fated to be dead from the start and player dont really get to interact with them or get attached to them (including kugie). From those 12 ,there are 8 males & 4 females Excluding sacrifice/non candidate : 4 victims. All 4 of the dead one is male. Mishima, alice, sou and qtaro. Including non candidates: 7 victims. 6 males (+Joe, kai) & 1 female (nao) Based on the stats, its as if the male (especially adult) chara is kinda.. easy to kill?? (Ngl i've been reading many manga and many of them are really reluctant to kill fem chara compared to how many men (important chara too) are dead in their series.) Its too early to speculate that yttd will have "happy" endings, nankidai can turn things around, but the way kanna/reko route gives off, maybe they will escape? Either all of them alive or atleast there's one more death. And the one who didnt faced death (as a route) yet is only sara, keiji, and gin. So i think final part, they will be in danger. If they really gonna give happy endings with more survivors, i dont really think they will kill the mc, sara. Kanna and reko is already dead in the other route, so given that how positve that route is, i'm unsure if they really want to kill them again. So whats left is keiji or gin. (Male again, if thats it, maybe it can be a bit predictable on this part). Unless nankidai want to make it equal chance for every chara to be dead (not impossible since 3 dummies can be alive). Idk if keiji can be dead, but if keiji died, then all of the casts that left as the survivors, is kinda underwhelming. (Reko, kanna, sara, gin) Despite the least number of living participants is female, most of the survivor is also female at this point. The alternate route sou/alice left sara as the only female there lol. And this route is also where every sister die. (Oh well sou/reko is still the same tho) Looking at real sou behaves in the game, he panicked/frustrated when gin or keiji almost die. Yes, not only gin. When meister said he will execute keiji, this is his reaction: "No! he cant die like this!... I have to...."
He have something in mind that he can do to save him. Maybe with collar things. He also shows that he get really frustrated when reko/alice dies for a moment, too.
He should've been satisfied, or atleast dont show any behaviour that will interfere with their execution since it benefit him, but he did, while being panicked even though he consistently tried to show cold or indifferent treatment to everyone the whole time. I dont see any reason why he dont want them to die because he want to kill them by his own hand or he want to kill sara first before everyone else. There is not much to gain if he want to make sure if everyone else live before sara dies, his real personality is not like that.
He might actually have time to make the plans compared to when he got executed at chapter 2. His opinion on sara is unknown since he contradict himself on keiji (he said he will kill anyone who killed kanna), but maybe he still hates her or she is the one he least care about from all of them. If you play sou route, you'll get the feeling that the main antagonist is not him anymore, but more like sara. We dont know if she'll managed to get sane back again or not, so the obstacle is sara + less one survivor. I think if people gonna get killed anyway, maybe the one who will likely kill everyone, directly or indirectly, subsconciously or not, reluctant or not, is not sou anymore, but sara, unless she really snapped out of it. Or the less one survivor might affect what will happen.
And please dont confidently said this one will never have anything good, this is impossible, there is not even tiny bit of positive events in this route game etc. You are forcing your own mentality into this. The one who decide that is nankidai, if you can never anticipate the plot twists in the game, how can you be so confident in other things? But still, i dont really have much faith if this route will lead to happy ending either. There might be good things happening, but as a player i cannot see the lights whether its a good ending either. Both route has ups and downs. Unless they DR3 it. Either way, we dont know if this game even have a truly happy endings, given the theme itself.
