i made a post before on how capricorns and aquarians get bed reputations as being emotionless/robotic/etc because of how they express affection. i wanted to mention too how gemini and virgo are two signs that often face the same or similar negative stereotypes.

virgo and gemini more often than not get reputations as the “bitch” signs. this is mostly due to the fact that these signs are ruled by the planet mercury, known as the planet dominating communication, intellect, and so forth. when it comes to emotions, these two signs just don’t do well. these signs overanalyze and overthink EVERYTHING. to them, things have to make sense, things have to have a reason, things have to have an explanations. it can be hard for these signs to accept their own (let alone other’s) feelings, as emotions just aren’t necessarily logical to them (especially true for those with moon placement in these signs). these signs are very good with words, but when it comes to verbal emotional displays, it can be hard for them. 

however i can’t stress enough, just because these signs don’t always flat out say “i love you!” like a libra dominated person (for example) would, it does not mean they are emotionless!! the way these signs show their care tends to be through ways that come off sometimes as pushy/annoying to others. virgos have a reputation for nagging, geminis have a reputation for being the “i told you so” sign. but what people don’t realize is they got those reputations, not because they nag to be assholes, but because they care! if they don’t care about you, they won’t nag you. virgo and gemini are signs that want their loved ones to always succeed, do well, have as little problem as possible. these two signs will go out of their way to give you a billion solutions to all your problems. these signs will listen to you ramble for hours on end about whatever is bothering you, and offer genuinely helpful advice to get you through it. they’re also two signs who won’t think twice about staying up all night to talk to you until you feel cheered up/better. virgo will help you through listening and advice, gemini will help you through advice and humour. this is how they show they care.

geminis, especially gemini venus, also get criticized for being flaky/distant/etc. but i want to mention a lot of geminis actually do this out of care. geminis value freedom, travel, and independence; as these are things they want themselves, they figure their loved ones value these too and never want to smother them. they figure by giving you space, they’re respecting you and your boundaries as well as their own. when a gemini really does care for someone, they will be there whenever needed and will not ghost constantly. virgos, also, get a reputation of being a bit detached along with their naggy reputation, but this is because virgos (especially virgo venus) do not like being dependent on their partner. they would never, ever, want to give you any of their problems. rather, they’d have you be dependent on them if anything. they go out of their way to make sure their loved ones aren’t burdened with their (the virgo’s) problems or their own (the loved ones’). 

gemini and virgo may not always be the best with expressing or showing their affections and love in ways that are obvious, but when they care for someone the amount of love and effort they put in to the relationship (be it platonic or romantic) is unreal. these signs will always be helping you out, giving advice, and cheering you on from the sidelines until the end of the world.

absolutely! this is actually a placement i have as well so i think i’ve got a pretty decent grasp on it! 💘

i find intimacy issues are common in those w this placement !!!!

those with saturn in the 8th may feel an overly-stressed need to be reserved, hushed, etc in matters relating to sex/sexuality/etc
