I just came across this theory and Holy Shit.
It sounds ridiculous but they might actually be onto something here.
I already thought Gaster was an egg monster, given... well, y'know, everything. But...
Humpty dumpty sat on a wall. Humty dumpty had a great fall.

New Blog!
Aight, i've decided to stop being self-conscious of my original art and made a new blog for it. I don't expect many people to be interested, but i've been wanting to show some of my Ocs and worldbuilding i've been hoarding for the past decade or so..
Anyhoo, new blog's name is @endmiioriginals Yes I couldn't think of a new name ^^'

@mable-stitchpunk Drew Marion and Foxy this time (plus a few characters that sneaked in xDD)!
I couldn’t resist adding a bow to Marion’s coat, I saw the « present » motif and I blacked out, but the worst mistake I made was when I got the colour of Foxy’s pirate coat completely wrong T-T (it’s green right?)
Else, hope they look good! Next time, i’ll try not to draw when I’m sleep deprived or during a car ride;<;

Baby and Charlie!

I wanted to add more, but I’m already reaching the pics limit T-T. Aside from that, I HAD to draw those two again. It’s been so long since I drew content of @mable-stitchpunk Home series x))
Anyways, to shortly give context for Charlie, I tried to imagine how she would look like with her feet. I am absolutely not an engineer, but I imagine that she would need shock absorbers so she could have the same amount of bounce as Sunny without risk of injury.

Could we get descriptions of the human characters, any original designs, and any differences the animatronics have from canon designs in Home and when any appearances may have changed throughout the story? I wanna draw some events from the books but I'm kinda blind to character descriptions in stories unfortunately.
Sure thing!
Mike stands about average height and is of athletic build. Like, not ripped, but he runs regularly and stays in shape almost getting himself killed all the time. He has sharp, blue eyes and black hair that's usually styled to look a little unkept. He has a mild tanned skin tone.
Jeremy stands slightly shorter than Mike and also has blue eyes, and almost always is seen wearing his glasses. His hair is blond and goes to about his neck. He has a pale skin tone and his features are a bit more softer.
Fritz stands a couple inches taller than Mike and Jeremy. He has brunette hair that's kept short, brown eyes, and usually keeps some stubble on his chin. He has a darker skin tone from Mike- I suppose dark tan is sort of the best way to describe it. Mature but friendly features. Dips from having "worked all night" rings under his eyes to a "slept fine" lack of them, and back and forth.
Natalie looks pretty much exactly like Vanessa. I don't know how that ended up happening, but it did. 👀
Initially, Scott's physical description was kept majorly up to interpretation for the reader, but since then he's sort of turned into a brunette with hazel eyes. He has visible but faded scars on his cheeks and across his body from his accident. He lost his lower right leg and wears a prosthetic, though is usually covered by his pants. He frequently wears cardigans and sweaters, slacks, comfortable and soft clothing. He wears glasses when he works and reads, but doesn't require them elsewise.
When CGHA began, Scott looked especially weary and was taking poor care of himself. Living as a recluse and showing such by usually existing in a bathrobe and staying unkept. By the time of GHIAB, Scott is consistently cleaned up and looks healthier.
Louise stands a little taller than Natalie, usually because she wears heels. She has a soft, heart-shaped face and slender but curvy build. Though initially introduced with brown hair, she dyed it red during Halloween and has kept it that way since. She tends to wear skirts and dresses with matching nails and makeup.
Tabitha is a middle aged woman with short brown hair and is frequently seen with a 'I'm done with this world' look on her face. She has a heart-shaped face that matches Louise's, but not as youthful or full.
Chrissy has wavy or semi-curled blond hair and big blue eyes. If that sounds similar to Susie from Pizzeria Simulator, that was in fact another Natalie-Vanessa situation. XD Though Chrissy's hair is not nearly as curled and is more naturally tussled.
All of Charlie's friends stick pretty close to their graphic novel versions.
Gregory looks the same as in Security Breach and while Cassie hasn't appeared yet (in case you're curious), she will have her cutout design.
Ness is a pale woman with shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes. She has body proportions very similar to that woman who's been running around in a bunny suit, which is probably a coincidence.
Okay, now with the major humans out of the way, onto the animatronic changes!
Marionette looks a lot like canon Mari. The only difference is that his neck is a little shorter- though later versions of the Puppet shortened the neck anyways. XD
Foxy looks relatively similar to Fnaf 1/Fnaf AR Foxy. The only difference being that as of the middle of CGHA, Foxy was repaired. He no longer has a tear in his chest and now has fabric over his hand, but still has his hook. Foxy has fabric lower legs and feet that he wears during showtime, but he takes them off when he's not on the clock. His shorts have been repaired and during work hours he can be seen wearing a green pirate coat (the pirate coat from Captain Foxy's Dark Ride in Help Wanted).
Security Puppet Charlie looks a little softer than Pizzeria Simulator Security Puppet. Originally she was supposed to just be that same one, but I keep imagining her with a head and face that's a little close to Mari's in shape, though still with the rounder eyes. The cuteification of Charlie.
Baby originally looked like Scrap Baby, but over the course of AFLH she was repaired. Having plates replaced and repainted to look more like a complete version of Scrap Baby. In GHIAB, Baby took down her pigtail wires and changed them into a low ponytail (to regain her own identity) and then began to wear a small hat. The hat is a refurbished Freddy had, covered in red crushed velveteen with an orange band and a feather, and is a gift from Scott.
Ennard originally looked very much like normal Ennard, though a little more put together. His hands resemble the ones from Ennard's Help Wanted cutout picture instead of the knotted wires like in Sister Location. At the end of AFLH, Ennard got shot in his right eye and had to replace it with a yellow one, with his left remaining blue.
As of GHIAB, Ennard was gifted a technician suit styled to look like a clown costume. Because I'm feeling lazy, here's the exact design from the chapter-
"It looked like the coat a ringleader would wear, though green in color and without coattails. Golden colored buttons lined two rows in the front, with a zipper hidden under an edge of fabric between them. The collar was a deeper, emerald color and edged with sequins that matched the buttons. The sleeve's cuffs matches the collar, but with an edge of a white frill lining it.
The pants had one leg green and the other yellow and were made out of a slightly stretchier material, but otherwise looked like normal pants. There were a pair of new work gloves and boots in the bottom. These were relatively simple compared to everything else, just forest green to somewhat match the theme of the rest. There was a velveteen red ribbon in the bottom, likely to be tied in a bow."
Balloon Boy is in the Little Joe body from Sister Location instead of his old BB body due to concept unification.
Springtrap looks a little less deteriorated than he did in Fnaf 3 because of the time difference.
The last notable animatronic change/appearance is Jake.
Jake is the old Sun. So, his body resembles Sunnymoon's except greyed out due to his lack of glow. Jake wears the Stitchwraith's mask, of which a lone blue eye peeks through, and his tattered black coat (which is often equated to a trash bag like material). Underneath his mask, his face is damaged from having parts removed. His pants are tattered and cut short, and his lower leg has been replaced with an endoskeleton one off of the old Stitchwraith body.
...And yes, that does look vaguely similar to Eclipse. XD That was another one of my patented random fnaf predictions, lol.
I hope that covered everyone! If not, drop me a line and I'll add more! ^_^

Y’all got no idea how proud I am for finally finishing this (and it ended up looking good!). I had a lot of struggle with Spearmaster since I thought of making it with watercolours (spoilers: it was horrible), so had to fix them up.

Had a weird dream last night that was about a new chapter in one of your fnaf fanfic @mable-stitchpunk that had Elizabeth (Baby) and Charlie in it.
I took that as divine intervention and started Going Home in a Box, just read two chapters and I am already hooked TvT

ohhhh here writers have some NOTES from wearing the Micolash Cosplay™ mwah mwah mwah
Tumblr media
Wearing the cage makes your upper shoulder muscles (google tells me it's the trapezius, rhomboids, and levator scalpulae) and lower back feel like they're burning, since you need good posture to hold it upright, and the weight just. HURTS your upper back/shoulders specifically. I cannot stress enough that it literally feels like someone is running a lighter over them. shit sucks LMAO
You can't turn your head. you Have to turn your shoulders and upper body to see on either side, or use your peripheral vision
Better hope your hair doesn't get in your eyes (this will happen if you try to turn your head), you can't easily move it out of the way through the holes without a tool of some kind.
You can't eat or drink without a straw, the lower bar of the face opening is aligned almost exactly with your mouth.
It's Hot In There. (even with my version being sleeveless under the coat it's hot as fuck under all that)
If you tilt your head too far forward you'll have to use your hands to catch the cage so you don't fall, if you tilt too far back the lower face bar hits you in the teeth, and god forbid you get caught in a strong wind because that shit will DRAG YOUR ASS AROUND (i think this still applies even if the cage is metal as opposed to foam, just because the wind got up and under the top of it and almost dragged me into traffic a few times).
You can run in it! Pretty easily tbh.
You cannot see your body at all. It's kind of isolating because you feel literally like you're just a walking head. (hm. lore.)
You can't tie your shoes by yourself (source: shoes came untied on the second floor of a con and needed a security guard to do them for me so i could use the escalator). If you want to make sure your clothing/shoes/etc are presentable, you will need an aide.
Related to that one, stairs/escalators/anything of that nature is really scary because you have to guess where to step, and picking things up off the floor SUCKS because you have to keep your back straight as you feel around or the cage will knock you down.
You actually can't do the call beyond gesture LMFAO you'd have to dislocate your shoulders or something, I measured the bottom part of the cage to the exact width of my shoulders, which is how it appears to be made in the game, and it literally blocks you from holding your arms like that. Maybe the Mensis Scholars can dislocate their shoulders? I dunno man but the highest I was able to clasp my hands together was basically eye level, and it tilts the cage back.
You will feel the crossbars pressing against the back of your head 100% of the time. That's just how it rests. That's how you WANT it to rest, if it's not doing that you're likely about to get hit in the teeth. However, it takes a lot to like. angle it far enough to hit you in the teeth, since hair cushions it in the back and it sits straight up or tilted slightly forward in a comfortable way 90% of the time.
SITTING. put chairs everywhere that shit's such a relief
The next day after wearing the cage your back, neck, shoulders, and arms hurt. Even your legs. You can't turn your head or squat to pick anything up. You can't bend down. You just have to wear a heating pad and pray. NOTE: that's if you've worn it for 8+ hours, doing activities in it such as running, squatting, lifting bags, sitting and standing, sitting on the floor, and other such con behaviors without taking it off. It's much less severe if you've worn it for six hours or less, and have a handler to carry your bags and things for you, and you take breaks.
Speaking of squatting, you have to half-crouch with your back straight to walk through doors. There's only some spatial awareness of how tall the damn thing is, and I got caught in wires hanging from the ceilings, doorframes, and a few vendor booths LMFAO
I hope this was helpful LMFAO feel free to ask more questions if there's something I didn't answer!

hello bloodborne side of tumblr i am here to claim the title of ultimate micolash mutual with the long-awaited Cosplay Reveal:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course one of my favorite images ever taken of me, the one I like to call Let's take ibuprofen together vs Give Me Your Fuckign Ibuprofen:
Tumblr media
The funniest thing is that neither of us planned to match poses, we just both looked at the camera and the "cosplayer reach" instinct kicked in LMFAO
For those of you that are new here, I made this entire cosplay in two weeks flat, all of the seams are finished (French seams, since I don't have a serger), and I landed my first film job because of it LMAO
More in-depth discussion and detail shots under the cut!
Tumblr media
As I said before, I made this costume from scratch except the eyeball ring, the shoes (which are antique), and the pants, which I weathered with a cheese grater in areas of high friction (thighs, backs of the knees, etc.) and near the hem, and painted and stained the hem to show wear. The cloak was a thrifted red bedsheet I dyed black (well, it was meant to be black, but it's more of a dark to medium brown depending on the lighting), and the cord is one of my college honors cords (which is why it's gold instead of white). The undercoat was a set of heavy curtains from the thrift store, the vest was some brand-new red denim lined with an extremely old floral cotton I had lying around, and the buttons were all hand painted and glossed. I handmade and hand-stitched the bias tape around the neck of the cloak, as well as all the buttonholes, and carved the insight symbol to emboss the velvet of the hood from a dense foam floor puzzle piece (like you'd find in a daycare, also thrifted).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I chose florals both for the lining of the vest and for the jacket because they make me think of Byrgenwerth, and the cloak itself has very faint vertical stripes that you can see even through the dye job, which made me think of the Mensis cages. I think the symbolism of the eye buttons, eye embroidery, and insight embossings are self-evident LMAO
The cage itself is a mix of upholstery foam, EVA foam rods and sheets, thin wooden dowels, two plastic chain links from Spirit, googly eyes for the rivets, and coffee grounds and hot glue for the rust and cobwebs. I attached everything with contact cement (reinforcing the wooden dowels with hot glue, both to emulate welded metal and give them extra stability, since it presses against my head in the back and I didn't want anything breaking apart), and needed about four cans of plastidip before I felt it was primed enough to spray paint without the foam getting eaten away. It is actually quite soft and comfortable at first because the block base is upholstery foam, but after six to eight hours at a con you Will have back and shoulder pain and a killer headache the next day LMAO I actually made a mistake in cutting the head hole to my head measurements, without accounting for the wig, so whenever I take it off it pulls the wig off as well. Whoops! The wig itself was an old Sebastian Michaelis wig off Amazon that I cut and curled.
The bottom of the cloak is cut ragged and stained heavily with paint, coffee, and coffee grounds to emulate caked-on dirt and mud; the undercoat and vest both have coffee stains around the armpits and back to emulate sweat stains. Maybe a nightmare corpse sweats, maybe it doesn't, but I wanted to make him as horribly dirty and grimy as possible. He's doing nothing but running, after all. Regardless, I was harangued by wasps every time I went out to paint and stain--they wanted that hot coffee like nobody's business.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(ft. a little Damian cameo! <3 )
I also embroidered and beaded the red panels (made from the same bedsheet as the rest of the cloak, but left undyed) near the top, slowly making the embroidery more ragged as it goes down until it's nothing but long hanging threads, destroyed from the wear. The eyes on the sleeves are functional, serving to make the sleeves look fuller by bunching them up near my elbow since I'd miscut them originally. There are snaps behind the lapels and in the center back of the cloak to keep the costume from shifting as I move, since once I have the cage on I can't see anything directly below me or about two feet in front of me looking down.
All the blood is from Pale Night Productions, my absolute favorite blood brand. It dries looking wet, you can toss clothes with it in the wash, and it doesn't peel off solid or cloth surfaces (it can flake over time, but that's only if you handle things roughly).
The costume is Extremely warm and heavy, I'd say it's anywhere from seven to ten pounds of fabric for the main garments and then another two to five for the cage. The white collar is a sleeveless tank from Forever 21 that I got when I was sixteen (which I intend to eventually replace with a dickey), which means that without the coat and cloak Micolash is entirely sleeveless. It's very cursed LMFAO
Now, onto the glamour shots!

And these photos are from when I'd freshly restyled the wig; I like it much better now:
