biography

jamie was born in boston, massachusetts as the second child out of a trio of three boys and experienced ultra middle child syndrome as a result. jamie and his brothers are all complete opposites of one another but jamie is the one who often gets the short end of the stick when it comes to their father’s attitude and expectations

he was always a hyperactive type of child which tbh made his parents nearly rip their hair out since they were a v proper and high end kind of family ??

in regards to his brothers, jamie is considered the black sheep of the moon clan. with his father as a successful cardiothoracic surgeon in the boston area and his mother a fashion designer, it was expected that jamie and his two brothers were going to move onto affluent career paths

for as much as jamie deals with his parents nagging he absolutely adores his mom. just a v petite and tiny korean woman who immigrated to america when she was in high school and immediately caught the eye of his dad during college and it was a whirlwind romance that was kinda more of a fling but then she became pregnant with jamie's older brother so then he had to put a ring on it

absolutely hates the name jameson and v much prefers the nickname of jamie so naturally his dad just calls him jameson all the time dnSLJKf mainly reserved for when he fucks up but also that’s just his dad so pls spare his heart and just call him jamie

don’t tell his brothers but jamie is 10/10 his mom’s favorite and if anyone is his ride or die it’s his mom. despite being successful in her career, she was predominantly who raised jamie and bc she spoke korean around the house, jamie was raised with it and is fluent in the language. he absolutely adores his mom and appreciates that she often acts as the buffer between jamie and his dad whenever they get into their arguments

but yeah jamie always had pent of energy that he released in creative formats like drawing and reading or just u know … running around which helped when he did track and soccer in high school and was actually pretty good at it ??

which kind of made him popular and he thrived off the attention ?? but was also the class clown of his grade and genuinely just loved making people happy and laugh. overthinks when ppl don’t like him bc it just gives him anxiety that something he did made someone not like him jfdsk def a people pleaser minus his dad bc reasons

jamie did above average when he was in school and got good grades but he never really knew what he wanted to do with his life. bc his older brother followed in his dad’s footsteps of med school jamie was super on edge about life and just having numerous existential crises a week so 0/10 not a fun time

his dad was really pitching for jamie to follow in the footsteps of him and his brother and jamie was like lmAO responsibility in choosing and shaping my future for years to come ?? no thanks. bUT bc he is a people pleaser he got accepted in the family alma mater of harvard. don’t get me wrong jamie had nice grades but his last name and family history of harvard grads kinda solidified his spot there so jamie went with crossed fingers and high level anxiety into his bachelor’s degree for biochem

as u can tell since um .. he’s on the show things didn’t go that well ( mainly to make his mom proud ) and then the idea of med school freaked him out and he told his parents he was taking a year off just to rejuvenate himself bc college drained his life source

jamie's mom ( ever the angel that she is ) was understanding and just let him work at her design studio for some modeling of her men’s collection and deal with some interning responsibilities that he was chill with bc he got paid and it wasn’t all that hard. meanwhile his dad was not as happy and just has a perpetual frown whenever he’s around jamie bc he think jamie is just slacking off since his older brother is dealing with med school just fine

while human anatomy interests him to a degree, jamie could never see him being a surgeon or being responsible for other people’s health. one day when he went to use his mom’s membership for a massage appointment she couldn’t make the idea kinda just clicked for him and throughout the appointment just asked the massage therapist question after question about how they became one. so naturally he decided to lie to his dad and say that he was slowly taking classes for med school, but instead was taking classes to become a massage therapist in the state of massachusetts

when his dad caught him in his lie, jamie just got certified and there was a big blowout argument at the moon house. as a result, jamie slept at his mom’s studio for a couple days and on a whim applied the masseuse position at the persephōne fortress and it wasn’t long before he got the job and told his mom about it while only leaving a note for his dad lol. so jamie's been here for almost two years now and enjoying life

overall, jamie is a pretty charismatic guy who enjoys talking to people and can talk a mile a minute without meaning to. while in his dad’s eyes he’s a bit of a fuck up and lazy, jamie is actually quite dedicated to his job and values helping out whoever’s on the bed getting a massage. whenever he gets someone to fall asleep mid massage he views it as an accomplishment

a regular who comes in for a massage that jamie has befriended. whenever a client likes to talk during their sessions, jamie is always happy to oblige and your muse is no exception. turns out they have more in common than they expected and now they’re good friends.

hookups tbh i don’t mind specifics but any can work !! whether ongoing fwb, drunken hookups, or one that each party regrets can be fun

an ex fwb that maybe they were good friends when they made the arrangement and along the way your muse caught feelings. seeing as jamie is a dumbass he probably didn’t notice it and didn’t understand why your muse was suddenly pulling away and so when he confronted them, they admitted their feelings and ali pulled a drake and josh see you in chemistry moment. now he’s been avoiding them

maybe a blind date ?? jamie and your muse were set up by mutual friends and it either went well or not so well … regardless they realized that maybe they’re better off as friends. or even maybe it led to a one night stand and now they just ignore each other

an ex-something where perhaps jamie and your muse were at the beginnings of something in the early times of him arriving but for one reason or another things were put to an end. now things are slightly awkward with words unspoken and unsure of where the other stands and what truly was the end of their flirtationship

mayhaps a gym buddy !! or even yoga buddy bc jamie definitely goes to any yoga classes on the regular bc it’s important to keep your muscles stretched and loose !!
