I see that most people think that the turning point for hook wanting to be good and do the right thing was the love for Emma. However, I think that point was actually his love for Bae and the knowledge that Henry is his son, what makes him Milah's grandchild. And I really like it because it fits Hook's story well. At that moment he is interested and curious about Emma, but he was still engaged to his past much more than his future.
So, Emma doesn't matter? Of course she does! This journey is so perfect that SHE is the one that gives him the speech that let him realize he could be better and be part of something. I see her as an inspiration to Hook's new story.
What are your thoughts on Season 2 finale? 👀

people telling you they reread your fic is the biggest compliment you could ever receive. there are thousands of stories out there begging to be found, to be explored, but your story meant so much to someone that they came back to it eagerly, they went over every word again. to love is to return and loving a fic is rereading it. thank you to all readers and rereaders <3333

Hi again, Fizzy! I came here with a new prompt idea...
...
...
...
Raymond and "I can't pretend anymore."
Tumblr media
(This will just be a short piece. I'm not going to tag anyone. I hope you like it. Oh, and I'm really sorry for the delay on getting this out. I've got a lot of requests to get though. This little piece also goes along the main plot of Wrong Place Wrong Time where the reader time travels to 1209AD. ENJOY!)
***
Ever since you had appeared in the village two months prior, having somehow slipped into what could only be described as a time slip, Raymond had had his eye on you. Interactions were intense; his gaze smouldered and you tried desperately to keep yourself away from him.
Raymond had even sought you out, asking for you to prepare his horse at the stables. The man scared you, having the reputation of being brutal and cruel. However, you somehow sensed something sad within him. It had long been your thought that he was hiding something painful beneath all the brutality.
That morning and you received word that your duties had been changed. No longer would you be working in the dairy barn and stables, you would be at the chateau. The head of the stables, Henri, reluctantly dismissed you, urging you to report to the head maid.
The head maid, Lucille, was stern, but had a kind air around her which you noticed as she picked out a new apron for you. "Raymond asked for you specifically, quite out of the blue. So I have been preparing for your arrival since yesterday evening, and only managed to report to Henri about the change at dawn this morning," Lucille explained. "You are to report directly to Raymond every morning and he will give you your duties."
As you ascended the stairs, ready to meet Raymond, you felt your whole body shake from head to foot. In an anticipation, or fear, you didn't know. Or maybe both. You held a tray with a hot cup of tea and breakfast, which you had asked Lucille if you could prepare, potentially to act as a peace offering.
You tapped at Raymond's door, the tray of food and drink clattering slightly.
"Good morning, Cherie," Raymond said, quite different to his usual demeanour. He seemed pleased to see you.
"I...I have brought you breakfast," you stuttered.
Raymond let you step inside, and you placed the tray down on a small table at the end of his bed. You could feel him standing behind you. It was as if there was static growing between you both, and you could almost feel him.
"I know you avoid me," Raymond said softly. "I am not a stupid man."
You closed your eyes and felt shivers of anticipation and arousal surge up your spine. "Raymond," you whispered.
His hands were cupping the tops of your arms and his warm breath wafted down the side of your neck, evoking a whimper from you. "You know there has always been something between us." His voice was quiet, deep, and it wrapped around you like sweet velvet.
"I cannot pretend anymore," you replied, feeling all self control break.

Ideas of fatal character flaws? :3
Hi :)
Fatal character flaws
Aristotle calls this ‘Hamartia’ - a tragic flaw or error. It can be anything happening to good or bad characters, even otherwise good character traits and with good intentions that ultimately lead to the character’s demise. They are often traits that don’t neccessarily lead to someone’s downfall, but can if they’re done to an extreme. So think of these otherwise normal ‘flaws’ as extremes.
ignorance - not seeking helpful knowledge
selfishness - not thinking about others
curiosity - getting involved in things they shouldn’t get involved in
impetuousness - being too passionate/ not thinking before acting
pride - not giving in/ not taking help from others
hubris - exaggerated opinion of oneself/ thinking nothing can get to them
lack of self-control - can’t help/stop themself
indecisiveness* - not being able to make decisions
confirmation bias - only taking in information that supports one’s own belief
arrogance -  thinking they are superior
Have fun!
- Jana
*Interesting example: Chidi from The Good Place. A morally great character who is so extreme in always trying to make the right choice and therefore not being able to make a decision until it is proven to be right, it basically lands him in hell.

Smoking cigarettes is bad for your health. Smoking green paint made of arsenic is worse~
More shenanigans involving Dante, a character from my wip illustrated novel about 19th century artists. Back then, most paints are made of highly toxic ingredients such as lead, mercury, and arsenic (for the the infamous color: Paris Green).
