She nodded. Helping her people was the highest priority of hers, regardless of their affiliation. Watching as they cleaned away the blood and cared for the open wound, Alei’s expression fell flat. ‘ Just be careful next time. I might not be around to insist care and something tragic might happen. ’

“I will I will. It was purely my fault, don’t worry. I’ve got used to take care of myself alone, that happens when you travel alone, Commander." He gave her a bit of smile, appreciating the help although he kept telling himself in her mind that was completely necessary. He could’ve dealt with it alone too. 

beccaxdixon: 

It was probably as stupid as a decision could be but right now a child’s life was in danger and she was going to help. Her hard exterior had faded for the moment and she ripped the boy’s shirt, tying it around where the wound was and then moved to the boy’s arms. “Get his legs.” She told him, not giving him an option to say no for her to help. 

Rai thought about it for a while, it was a bit of walk to the closest village where they could find a healer, so help would be appreciated. But in the same time he couldn’t really take her anywhere near to the place. “Fine. But I’m not taking you to the village," he said as he stood up and took the legs. “There will be guards and they will know you’re a skaikru, they will kill you at the first sight.” 

aliaxmoore: 

she flinches the moment that he touches her; hissing softly out of pain; but allowing her fingers to dig into wet soil in an attempt to ease the sting. ❛ it’s analia ❜ she replied softly, not entirely sure as to why he wants to know. ❛ and yours? ❜

It was simply a try to have a small conversation. “My name’s Rai, it’s nice to meet you, Analia." He cleaned the wound as swiftly as he could while still being careful. He looked up at her. “I’m not going to eat you, if you're wondering.”

"Yes, I don't know how your people call the one who tends your wounds and gives cure when you're sick," he said. He looked down at the boy with a sigh. "I have to. There's no one else around here."

“Yes, I know,” he agreed with a sigh, starting to find something that the wound could be tied. The boy had to be brought to the healer. “I can’t stitch him up though, I’m not a healer. So for now we have to tie it up as tight as we can and then I will take him to our healer.”

Becca furrowed her eyebrows. “A healer?” She asked confused not knowing what that meant. “You can’t carry him on your own.” The boy was young but he was not small. 

beccaxdixon: 

Becca quickly took the rag from the grounder’s hand and pressed it firmly against the wound. “What happened?” She asked quickly as she hoped that the rag would stop some of the bleeding. “He needs to be stitched…” She said, wondering if the grounder even knew what that meant. 

“Yes, I know,” he agreed with a sigh, starting to find something that the wound could be tied. The boy had to be brought to the healer. “I can’t stitch him up though, I’m not a healer. So for now we have to tie it up as tight as we can and then I will take him to our healer.” 

beccaxdixon: 

Becca shouldn’t have gone up to the pair on the ground, they were grounders, but she knew they needed help. Without saying a word she went up to the grounder on the ground who was bleeding excessive. “Pressure…. he needs pressure on the wound.” She said placing her hands on the wound. 

The boy was young, horrified, this was probably his first bigger wound. “Hey!” Rai yelped as almost like out of nowhere a female appeared. A skaikru, clearly. “I was just about to do that!” he huffed. “Here, press this against the wound.” He offered a clean rag to her.

amcrc: 

“You must really enjoy your profession then… being able to experience all of that. It’s incredible.” Amara couldn’t help but wonder what it must’ve been like there. There was so much down here on Earth that she could see, things she could do, and a few weeks ago those things only seemed like a possibility to her in her dreams. “I see why they’re on edge about all of this, but I’m not so sure that they’ll warm up to us. I’m still hoping that we’ll be able to achieve some sort of peace, but as of right now they either want us gone or dead, and I- I don’t know what to do. I don’t have anywhere else to go.”

It was pretty nice to see the world, he nodded. He worked on the wound while she was talking, happy to have her distracted, maybe it wouldn’t hurt so much if she was focusing onto something else. “I understand that. Although you should feel a bit relieved by that you didn’t fall onto the Ice Nation’s territory. My leaders would’ve probably already shred you in pieces.” Perfect way to calm a girl down... “Sorry. Maybe you should try the Boat People if things become too dangerous, they’re usually a little friendlier. Although I don’t know if the Commander would tell them not to help you."

hvle: 

‘ I don’t know what that is.. ’ She mentioned, speaking of Trikru scoping over the wound, specifically the depth of it. It was deep and she hadn’t expected it to stop anytime soon but she didn’t want someone to die either. Kaia’s eyes scanned the other’s watching for a reaction as she pressed down on the wound before turning her head to the other again. ‘ There’s a lot your people don’t know from mine. A lot they could learn from us and vice versa. But yeah, I guess they’re similar. We both heal in the best way possible, I assume. ’

“Right, I’m sorry. Trikru is the Woods Clan, this is their territory. I’m from the Ice Nation,” he explained briefly. He knew that probably wouldn’t explain too much. Rai glanced at the wound, ready to start tie it tightly so the boy could be moved and he could get a proper healer to take care of himself. “Do you really think they’re going to accept your help? I mean, I know you need to learn how to live on this ground, they could help. But I’m afraid they won’t allow your help, won’t think they need it.”

a pleased expression covered her features as the other agreed to allow help. alei wasn’t a tough person to get along with as long as she was getting her way. it was the disobedience and refusal that angered her. however, with his capitulation, she was pleased and her expression showed it all. ‘ mochof. ’

He nodded, allowing the people who had been with her to start tending his wound. He could’ve survived somehow alone too, but that could’ve been also pretty dangerous to him. “No, thank you. I know you must have better things to do than taken care of me.”

hvle: 

‘ Yeah, I didn’t want to exactly step out. You’ve killed enough of us already. ’ She knew that if she lived past this, she might live to regret her words. But she was angry at these people. But she did as he requested, the fear still evident in her features. ‘ You direct me as if I’m stupid. I was training to be a doctor back home, I know how to stop bleeding. ’

“I guess you mean Trikru. But I’m not one of them, I’ve never done anything bad to you or your people,” he said slowly. He raised his eyebrows at her. “Hey, take it easy. I don’t know anything about you, I didn’t know you were trained. I believe a doctor means same as a healer, right?”

there wasn’t too much emotion in his face but it was evident with the amount of blood already ejected from the wound, it had to have hurt. ‘ moba? strik o biga, lukot, yu laik ledon. yu teik sis em au. ’

Rai sighed. He wasn’t too good at accepting any kind of help, but it wasn’t like he could do anything for that right now. He did need help. “Sha, Heda,” he agreed, still a little reluctantly, but agreed anyway. 

hvle: 

she hadn’t expected to be called out or even for one of them to ask for her help. they all seemed violent and when he asked for her, she looked up with surprised features. ‘ you’re asking me for help? ’ she spoke out, nervous tone evident.

“You’re watching, you don't look like you’re going to pass out at the sight of blood, and I could use an extra pair of hands here. Come on,” he said gesturing her to come closer. “Here, can you press this against the wound? Hard, we have to stop the bleeding.”

amcrc: 

It was all so impressive how developed they were on Earth. There was so much more down here than she could’ve ever expected, and her curiosity was definitely piqued. “Well, Rai, it’s nice to meet you,” she smiled. “I guess you’re lucky that you get to travel so often. Ice nation… is there snow there?” It may have sounded like a foolish question, but Amara had always wondered what the substance had actually felt like. “I’m not sure that there’d be anyone willing to actually show or teach me anything. Sadly, I’m only looked at as a threat.”

He nodded, smiling a little. “Yes, there is a lot of snow. And ice too,” he agreed. While it snowed every now and then in winters here too, it never was the same like back home, where you really sometimes couldn’t see anything else but snow. “I know, and I think it’s understandable. People falling onto the ground doesn’t exactly happen every day. Just give them some time, maybe they will become a little friendlier. Until then you just have to figure things out on your own.”

reync: 

‘ would it be wrong of me to say that the sky people interest me?’ she asked. ’ i’m curious as to how they got here, what their life was like before they got here, that kind of stuff.’ she added. ’yes, i cannot imagine being sent down to a strange place, let alone another earth.’

“I don’t there’s nothing wrong with being curious about them. They’re something different, finding people falling from the sky doesn’t happen every day. And wherever they are from, they’ve definitely faced different life than we have around here. I think it’s just natural to be interested in them. As long as you don’t put yourself in danger because of that.”

second-incommand: 

Arya shrugged. “We have a lot of stupid rules, but what can we do about it?” She asked with a sigh. “I guess it’s a way to show everyone what happens to those who commit crimes. For him to be here for this long, it had to be something serious. I’ll be sure to ask Heda when she comes to deliver his faith.”

He could comment that they could at least try to change them. But it was also a dangerous path, and it wasn’t his job to suggest it. “I see. A bit of warning, also a bit of letting him feel the shame. Everyone can see him and so on. I get it.” He looked at her. “You’re close to Heda then?” At least if you considered how she spoke about talking to her, she must be.

rvyes: 

at his approval, she made her way over, kneeling down by the boy. she listened intently as the grounder explained what he would do to make sure the boy healed, and nodded. ’ yeah, that sounds about right.’ it seemed to her like their methods of repairing and treating wounds weren’t much different. the only major difference was that the grounders had to use herbs and pieces of nature to treat and bind the wounds, but on the ark they had always relied on vaccines and injections to prevent infection.

He nodded and took a rag he pressed against the would, spoke briefly to the boy in Trigedasleng, assuring him that they could trust in the girl. Rai gestured towards the rag he was pressing against him. “Would you mind to press this here? I’ll figure out how to tie his arm.” He moved a little away to give her space. “He doesn’t speak Gonasleng yet, so he can’t understand what you say.”

she ran up onto where the others were and the one laid injured. ‘ sis em au! ’ 

Rai looked up at the other’s, groaning a little. His hand was injured, it must have been one of those sky people. But seeing the female coming, he tried to look like it didn’t hurt like hell. “Nou get yu daun. Ai laik ait, Heda, en’s jos strik ledon.”
