see the best unintended effect of the translator mod is that it made every moment on the server immediately reaction memeable because every word that was said was transcribed in real time above their heads. it's like how buzzfeed unsolved's blue and yellow text was so immediately memeable, bc the quips were already written out so all fans needed was a well timed screenshot. now we have screenshots like this, delivered right to our front door:
but the fact that they're translations ALSO gives the added fun of MIStranslations, so you get things like roier saying "young guy" in english with the translations set to spanish and producing "john gay".
like every oneliner ever delivered in a conversation is almost INSTANTLY memeable as long as someone is looking and that's honestly fucking hilarious

The academic searchers are truly something else, like, my 3rd day at uni the doctor told me "stand up and present to us the frontal bone" I just had the time to do quick dive while some other poor girl gave "anatomy as art", compleatly blacked out, was half sleep half caffeine drunk and just blurted out the info.

This was in a conference on planned families, talking about why we shouldn't denny an 18 y/o who wants histerectomy or her tubes cut and why do we keep doing it
I agree that we should be able to get hysterectomies if we so desire, but doing so can require one to go onto HRT for the remainder of their life. It’s not necessarily just impacting your ability to have kids. It is not a surgery one should just get, unless their uterus is actively causing medical problems. Same as most other surgeries.
I think they should give out free hysterectomies at the mall to anyone who wants them no questions asked
#At least I think the girl in the example was 18#but she could have been 16#and as long as you sign that you understand what this is#its consequenses and want it with no outside pressure we shouldn't refuse
