There’s a legendary item in the game called Locket of the Iron Solari which shields you and nearby allies.
The Solari are a sun-worshipping religious order in Runeterra and Mel is shown wearing Solari motifs/symbols.
My theory is she has something like the Locket of Iron Solari enchantment on her dress or something she’s wearing that will shield her and Jayce (Viktor will survive because he’s already augmented by the Hexcore).
People who have understanding of League of Legends lore. Any ideas how the people of the council can survive Jinx's bomb?

Exactly! I absolutely love how every single fight in Arcane gets you pumped up with the choreography and the music and the direction until you’re like “Fuck yeah! Violence rules!” and then they abruptly yank the rug out and the fight ends with everyone devastated, physically/mentally destroyed, and nobody actually won anything and you’re like “wait…no….what happened? :c”
I love how most Arcane fights go "oh you're having fun? Is it fun to see all these cool power ups? Do you love people hitting each other? Are you smiling? Jayce was having fun too but now he killed a child. Are you still having fun?"
