also not everything in the sjmverse is a huge theory lol i’ve been reading her books since throne of glass was published and was there for each release. she’s very predictable and the thirty slide tiktok theory about something that’ll likely never come up again is so crazy like be so fr rn

the acotar fandom on tiktok is so far from god like it is so extremely embarrassing to see the theories and rants and fan casts and even artwork sometimes

Eris wanted Nesta because she was the most powerful person in that room, full stop, end of sentence. She was hot, too, and he's not blind, but Nesta could have been in a garbage bag and her sisters in the most beautiful dresses the world had ever seen and he still would have wanted only her.

y’all are calling gwyn immature but… y’all need to remember her experience with the outside world is extremely fucking limited. girl was in sangravah with other priestesses and didn’t live the life most had (with exposure to other courts, cities, etc). now add onto that her trauma, grief, and her residency in the library. like… yes, she will not have as much life experience in certain areas and that will absolutely translate to her personality. but she also… has not ever… acted childish in the books. teasing, maybe, but never childish.

Finally got around to drawing for fun during my free time, so here’s some gwynriel I’ve recently gotten really into! 

gwyn literally representing the sun and shining when she sings and all things pure while azriel is characterized by the darkness and shadows and ,,,,, perhaps this is the ultimate ship aesthetic

there is no way y’all are sending death threats over fictional elves in a book w magic and tons of porn like 😐 ship wars should never be that serious 😐

thinking of parallels between suspected endgame ships:

nessian: cassian seemed to understand nesta’s grief regarding the death of her father because he lost his mother. the two share similar mannerisms as well in terms of coping. cassian knew that training was the outlet that quieted the world for him and it was how he was able to help nesta efficiently, to some extent. cassian is a warrior, and nesta ultimately became a valkyrie.

gwynriel: azriel was locked away and abused to a horrifying extent. gwyn was subject to what happened in sangravah before choosing to keep herself locked away into the library. azriel is in need of a journey that will allow him to fully look into his past, to embark on self-acceptance and self-love, and to fully close the chapter with morrigan. gwyneth needs to leave the library, and can only do so when she has the strength to fully face the past, and to allow herself to know that she is not to blame for what happened to her and her sister. both grapple with issues of worth, and both have been locked away.

elucien: elain seems to struggle most with being faemade, and one of her largest conflicts is the ended engagement with graysen. lucien’s biggest source of agony is jesminda. elain has often been kept protected and shielded, in a way keeping her from exploring her full potential, while lucien has never been able to truly heal and grow, let alone in knowledge of his full heritage. in a way he has been shielded from his full potential, the way the night court seems to insist on keeping elain from using her cauldron gifted powers (although she shows that she wants to begin using them). elain also seems to dislike anything that is not within her control, and lucien has never once been in control of his life.

not here for y’all to argue w me, just here to point out some interesting parallels.
