OH I'M LATE TO THIS QUESTION but thank you for asking!!
i was actually thinking that andy has kinda more of a crush on bill than actually BE with him, but then, that crush falters eventually once she starts to find our what a horrible person he is.
bill then realizes that he DID kinda like her, and then starts to deeply regret the times that he's treated her like shit. realizing that she's the only person of the opposite sex to actually truly care about him.
but of course, since it's too late when he finds out, they don't end up together. ever.
