I just want to say that i was not comparing Ain to Elsword’s headcanons, i was using christian mythology to explain the concept of angels and archangels.
I’m not religious myself, but still, concept is a concept. As i am very aware that he is a Celestial in Elsword’s type of religion.

The meaning of Ain’s name
Recently i discovered that the name Ain means eye in Arabic (عين).
Now that’s pretty specific and if you know KoG enough, you will know that basically every class that has a non-English name usually fit their backstory.
So, let’s put the big elephant out of the room first: Ain is an Archangel.
Now, what is the difference between an Angel and an Archangel?
Well, many actually, but let’s make this simple.
An angel is usually a messenger, a being of light that come and go without directly interacting with mankind, archangels on the other hand can come in and out and can also be called on to help anyone or anything. They are allowed to intervene wherever they are needed.
At the beginning, Ain was just a speck of light supposed to restore the weak El Stone and disappear, until fate shows it’s other plans.
After that, he gained a human form to direct interact with humans and complete his mission.
So basically, is here that Ain got a promotion of Angel to Archangel.
But enough about that, this post it’s to see in depth of Ain’s name.
Arme Thaumaturgy
Basically being Ain’s future that he literally goes as far as being a demi god, AT is the “Eye” of Ishamel that judges and fights in name of the goddess. That’s very straight forward but that’s basically this. He is observer that judges and eliminate anything that goes against the goddess and his mission.
Erbluhen Emotion
Now that’s a bittersweet one to explain.
As EE is the Ain that focus more on his human side and his relation with mankind, EE could pretty much be Ishamel’s “Eye” on observing the human behavior and actions more closely to understand them better.
Apostasia
Apostasia it’s not eye of Ishmael. He is the eye of Henir. That’s very self-explanatory.
He literally has a big eye of Henir, the god of Darkness, following him around and, if you pay close attention, the thing even gets angry if Ain just stay idle and don’t do anything for some seconds.
Conclusion
Does Ain lore and future class evolutions fit his name “eye”?
Absolutely.
He is the observer of the goddess, the vessel that she uses to watch Elrios from a more close perspective.

The El Search Party canon Jobs
So i’m going to explain here what are the canon classes and why.
Knight -> Sword Knight -> Lord Knight -> Knight Emperor
This is actually very simple. Knight Emperor is the Elsword that followed his family’s tradition and excelled at it, becoming even greater than them. Also, this Elsword decided to be strong because he wanted to, not for sister issues reasons, because he actually realized that comparing himself to Elesis was the very reasons he couldn’t get better.
Magician -> High Magician -> Elemental Master -> Aether Sage
This Aisha goes by a certain elimination, VP is the Aisha that relies on dark magic and if you didn’t know, dark magic is a big no-no in the world of the good guys and mages, also, her grandfather probably would be disappointed to know that his beloved daughter wasted all her potential on dark magic. One more thing, she gained dark powers mostly from making a contract with a demon, you know, the easy way, and a narcissistic brat like her wouldn’t really resort to easy methods.
Then we have DW, that fused her mentor’s pendant with the moon el, that is the darkness element el shard(not the dark el, that is purely made of darkness, but the darkness fragment of the El Stone that is made of light, dark, earth, water, fire and wind), also, Time and Space distortion is related to Henir, the god of Darkness that is the enemy of Elia, god of light and creator of Elrios, and as I said above, dark magic is not an option.
Ranger -> Sniping Ranger -> Grand Archer -> Daybreaker
Well both WS and GA can be the canon Rena. WS becomes one with the nature and master combat skills and GA becomes one with the nature but master the archer skills. But GA is canon due to the stereotype that Elves must have bow and arrow and are typically ranged.
NW isn’t exactly part of the El Search Party, she helps them, but she is actually part of an Elven assassin guild. Also, elves don’t usually use swords.
Taker -> Over Taker -> Reckless Fist -> Raging Hearts
Now while I agree that both BM and VC are way better candidates for canon Raven, RF kinda makes sense, kinda…
Well, RF is the Raven that decided to use his arm as his main focus but became unstable as his rage got bigger as he used it. Knowing Raven, rage is a big part of him so it kinda fits(?). But when he stopped seeing his arm as a torment and burden and thought of it as a partner, he controlled it way better and got way less angry. With all power he had now under control, he became way better than he could possibly be.
Blade Master on the other hand is just a Raven that denied what was now part of him and focused only on sword skills. But being closed minded and denying other options to atone his sins and improve it’s not like Raven at all.
So why Veteran commander isn’t canon as he chose to use both sword and arm? Well, something very crucial called release date. RF was released almost two years before VC and at this time KoG was already seeing RF as the canon Raven.
Another Code -> Code: Architecture -> Code: Empress -> Code: Essentia
Eve was created to be the mother ship of all Nasod race codes, just like Adam, the Nasod King, but what made her different was that Adrian, the creator of all Nasods, wanted her to have emotions, trying to make her as a vessel in humanity and Nasods future harmony.
CEm is basically this, she uses her codes to make new nasods and she tries to make the most of her emotions as possible. Just her looks scream “harmony”.
CN is the exact opposite, she is like the ultimate war machine. She creates weapons to destroy.
CBS it’s like CN, but she turned off her emotion circuit for good, the very reason she was created in first place.
Guardian -> Fury Guardian -> Iron Paladin -> Comet Crusader
IP has his father’s ultimate defense, has a sense of justice and keep Chung’s easy-going personality while DC goes out of his way to use new weapons and change his personality to a more serious one. Like IP is more understandable and while DC is more serious and does what it takes.
Want an example? DC would kill LuCiel on sight if he had a chance for the fact they are demons, IP didn’t like them on the beginning but learned not all demons are bad. Also, Chung is Hamel’s White Wolf, IP is all white and good shoes while DC start to wear black parts.
TT could be canon too, but once again release date ruined. Moving on.
Little Xia -> Little Hsien -> Sakra Devanam -> Apsara
This one is simple too. SD is the Ara that focuses on mastering her martial arts skills and deliver justice to wherever she goes.
YR uses forbidden arts, which is completely against the kind and innocent Ara’s personality and Asura is just kinda there, but again, SD was already canon so Asura didn’t really had much of a chance.
Free Knight -> Saber Knight -> Grand Master -> Empire Sword
It’s just like Elsword. She becomes stronger as family tradition and eventually becomes the top knight. Gosh she is really Elboy’s copy pasta with boobs, isn’t her?
BH basically goes against everything Elesis believes and focus on the magic power that her family seems to have and Crimson Avenger can’t be canon for a lot of obvious reasons that can be summed up with this line of hers:
This day is of course, the day she became Crimson Avenger.
Tracer -> Psychic Tracer -> Lunatic Psyker -> Doom Bringer
While I agree that MM is the ideal choice Add would take, LP makes sense for a reason:
Add is physically weak. If you read his web comic backstory, you might know that Add came to the present two time, one by accident and one to stay. On his accidental travel, he realized his weakness when he in a fight with thugs.
So, MM is the Add that blindly focuses on only engineering, while LP master his Nasod knowledge by fusing it with himself to become stronger and turn intoa physical fighter in the process.
DiE can’t be canon as he is a deranged and psychopath monster that wants to destroy timelines killing dozens of lives.
Demons -> Royal Guard -> Noblesse -> Innocent
Nothing much to be said. Lu regains all her pure original powers thanks to Ciel’s help and she even surpass it by becoming even stronger than she originally was.
Chiliarch focuses on another different power that is striking fear using her knowledge from military times and Diabla is literally is the ultimate demon destroyer with unlimited, but corrupted, demon energy paying the toll with her own sanity as she goes insane.
Royal Guard is the Ciel that became the perfect servant, becoming equal to Lu while Dreadlord and Demonio are just Lu’s weapons with different types of relations with their respective masters.
God’s Agent -> Lofty: Anpassen -> Erbluhen Emotion -> Bluhen
Apostasia wouldn’t be canon for very obvious reasons.
AT could be canon as this Ain focuses on his mission above all, but this is also the reason he couldn’t be canon. He takes his mission very seriously, he like to fight by himself, he despise humanity and would also kill LuCiel on sigh and no argument would ever convince him to not murder them in cold blood.
EE is the Ain that use the best of his human side given by the goddess. He finds pleasure on fighting with his friends and don’t think that helping others is a bad thing. He is basically a good version of AT.
And, let's face it, EE works in the El Search party much better than AT.
Now, about Rose, her canon job was still not revealed yet, but i theorize is either Optimus or just base Rose. But this is a good question. For another time.
