Mel Gown (a mashup & collab with @episims ❤)
So, Epi's Mel needed a wedding gown and we ended up engineering one 😂 It's a mashup of MDP's 4t2 Sifix Angelica dress and Mermaid Side Tie, which uses parts from Jellymeduza's 4t2 Blouse Side Tie. AF only, has all morphs. There are 6 recolors. Texture credit also goes to Freepik :)

When you watch too many films noirs, and you realise you must make an old-style drugstore/soda fountain/bar/tobbaconist (with a secret gambling room upstairs and a convenient pawnshop right next to it too)...
And you tell yourself that you're going to make it on a 2x3 lot, because you don't want it to crash - and start getting anxiety because the last time you made anything on such a small lot was in 2009... But you go ahead anyway, knowing that even with a small lot, you will eventually clutter it soo much it will turn into that delighful tone of purple-pink and crash...
And then it doesn't turn out too bad and you start thinking that, despite the crappy computer specs and low graphs, you're going to share a picture anyway...

Another lighting request, incoming!
An anon sent in a request for DOT's "Dollop O' Match Set" (which you can find here) because I had already converted the Dollop O' Light Wall Light (which you can find here).
This set is eight lights (with pretty absurd names). There's the Dollop O' Bowl Ceiling Light, Dollop O' Bowl Floor Light, Dollop O' Bowl Wall Light, Dollop O' Ceiling Light, Dollop O' Double Wall Light, Dollop O' Floor Light, Dollop O' Flush Bowl Ceiling Light, and the Dollop O' Triple Wall Light. Each is 59 Simoleans, because that is what DOT had them priced at.
Each light is in a separate folder containing its recolors. Remember to discard the preview images once you decide what you want to keep. Files are compressorized.

Switchable Switch with Animations for The Sims 2
As written in the last post, I used the Unswitchable Switch converted by Simsinlowspace to make a functional switch that can be used by your sims to turn on/off the room lights. They won't turn on/off immediately like the usual functional switches do, but the choosen sim will go in front of it to actually press the switch and it will move up or down as you can see here:
The switch is shiftable but I also added a second version if you don't have Apartment Life EP (choose one). It won't disappear when walls are invisible. It has a new Guid so you can have both the deco version and mine in your game.

Here you go, anon: 42 signs for the price of 14! Turns out I was a lazy monster and had mostly popped my own textures into the original packages (available here, if you want more contemporary/English language advertising), so I fixed that and cleaned up some little texture issues in the process. When I was taking preview pics I remembered how annoying it was that only the big six-tile mesh was quarter-tile enabled. I fixed the smaller 3- and 4-tile meshes; nothing is renamed so let these overwrite any you might have in your downloads already.
Row 1: Hanby Auto Sales, Simoco 1, Simoco 2, Texaco
Row 2: Sofi Pofi soap, Great Gatsby-inspired eyes, Rinso laundry soap, Mr. Crack in Simlish

As usual, do what you want with them, slap 'em on a new mesh or whatever, have a blast. Because I originally did this for myself, I didn't keep very detailed image credits. That makes me feel a bit bad, but that's the nature of ephemera like this. A few were recent simlifications from James Lileks' archived 1922 printing trade mag.

I believe at least one of these meshes has already been converted, but only for neighborhood? Anyway, this is something a little bit different.
These are flowers from ts4, recolored and repositoried. You get one main mesh, which is more compact and clustered together, but also 2 repo'd meshes that are spread out, so you can quickly and easily fill your entire lot with naturally scattered flowers and grass.
It comes with 10 additional recolors, including one plain flowerless grass. I wanted to do more but lost my enthusiasm somewhere along the way.
Although now when I look at it, it really needs more color variety, maybe I'll do more recolors in the future.
256x256 textures
will get procedural snow in winter, but otherwise stays the same
main mesh 1284 polys, second mesh 1224 polys, third - 888 polys
Sorry I had to make it on the higher poly side, but simply editing the txmt in order to add undersides wasn't doing the good job, it comes out too dark and glitchy this way, thus backfaces had to be added directly to the meshes.
