Thus Carlisle keeps his father’s cross outside his study so his slightly-murdery family won’t interrupt him unless it’s REALLY important because it makes them feel bad to walk past it.

i've been writing this idea in my fanfic, but i just can't get over it: Vampire Slayer!Bella Swan, but she is a shitty, shitty vampire slayer.
probably one of the worst. the only time she's ever been able to kill anyone was Laurent because he was standing like two inches away. even though wolfpack finished him off, they're all thinking she's a vampire slayer. Vampire Girl, they call her. better watch out for Isabella Swan, Vampire Slayer, they say. rumors fly. even the Cullens start calling her a slayer. no one has seen this girl successfully kill a vampire; they just assume she has.
in reality: every other time she tries to kill? forget it. all misses. not even close. she trips over her own feet. she trembles with fear. she has no idea what the fuck is going on, ever. she shows up with vibes. that's it.

I've decided to make the blanket Angela has in twilight! I'm using this pattern, and I changed up the colors a bit because I kinda think the original blanket is a bit ugly (no offense). I replaced the dark green with a Deep Sea Teal to imitate the blue tint.
If anyone wants to do this too, you really don't need much of a pattern since they're fairly basic granny squares. One 9x9 square took about 30 minutes so I figure I'll probably have the whole thing done in like 18 hours? So probably like a week for me? Materials were like $30 at Joanne Fabrics.
