Steve’s always been told that the string of pearls from his grandmother would one day belong to his girl of his dreams, perfect accessory to compliment a wedding dress. When he’s getting his birth certificate and passport out of his father’s safe on the day he leaves for good the pearls in their velvet case catch his eye and on a whim, he takes them along. Leaves a note explaining that it won’t be a white wedding but they’ll be going to the person he loves most in the world.

It may seem incongruous on paper, but when Corroded Coffin plays their first big gig, everyone remarks about the total badassery of frontman Eddie Munson’s look, pairing black mesh shirt, frayed black jeans and combat boots with a string of flawless white pearls.

Absolutely in love with the idea of Steve being insecure because he thinks the only thing he’s good for is being eye candy and the bats ruined that.

And Eddie having to be like: Ok first of all, you are an amazing person with many fantastic qualities regardless of what you look like. But, that being said, you are literally the hottest man alive and it takes every bit of self control I have to not just jump on you at all times.

in the eyes of a stranger, there lies a mystery in the eyes of a stranger, are you what you appear to be?

Watching the bloopers is such a weird experience, because Joseph remains in character the whole time.

Like, all the stuff that the others were doing felt like themselves. Millie was being Millie, Gaten was Gaten, Joe and Maya were Joe and Maya etc.

But I did not see Joseph or think that was his actual behaviour?? I'm watching it and I see Eddie getting his lines wrong. It's Eddie stumbling and rolling on the ground. Eddie is pulling goofy faces. All I can see is Eddie.

A nice day to remember how absolutely forced Eddie’s redemption arc was because he literally never needed one. Eddie had already chosen to stay and help MULTIPLE times before his sacrifice and it added nothing to his story because he had already proven himself to be a hero in his own right. The only aspect of his character that supports a coward to hero redemption arc were a handful of shoehorned comments about running away from danger.

With Chrissy, he didn’t leave while she was still fighting to live. It wasn’t even a situation where he could help her. Yet, he stayed with her till the very end despite how traumatizing it was and how he could’ve been targeted next (because mind you, he had no idea what was attacking or why.) The other times where Eddie ran actually ended up HELPING our characters gather the information they needed and provided them another body to fight alongside them. When there was something Eddie could do, he ALWAYS helped even when he didn’t want to. The biggest example being that he didn’t want to jump into Lover’s Lake to help Steve but he did anyways. On top of that, he could’ve let the others do all the fighting to save Steve. But he immediately picked up a boat oar and started fighting alongside them.
