Challenge Question: If you had only one day left in existence, what would you do in that last day?
What would I do if I only had one day left?
... I'd try to find my son. Fifteen years is a long fucking time, I don't know if he's alive or not. I want to know how he turned out if he is though. Some little part of me hopes he isn't though. Connor didn't deserve what happened, he didn't deserve watching me die while that monster took him away.
It's bad for a father to hope that... but I reasoned with myself that if he died he wouldn't be in pain, wouldn't have to go though what he did; but now that I'm saying it out loud I hate myself even more for it.
Anyway, I'd want to see if he had a family, with his high school sweetheart, and they lived with their two kids and a dog in a white and blue house in the middle of suburbia. W-with a picket fence and mini-van in the drive-way... Kinda like what I had before my wife died.
I'd want him to be the last thing I saw before I just... stop existing

Well, I told my students that if they could get on the honor roll I'd let them throw water balloons at me when school started back up... One of them filled their balloon up with paint..
