my piece for @space-sheep08 as a part of @countdowntotwinpeaks' WONDERFULXSTRANGE exchange <3 the prompt was dale, laura and annie. rewatched fwwm to get some ideas, and i was so mesmerized by dale and annie trying to speak to laura from the lodge and looking out for her as much as they could. so here's a little comfort art of them tucking her into bed, safe and sweet.

Sooo, now that deanon has happened, I can say this is the fic (well one of the fics, but this was my main assignment) I wrote for Femslashex! I had a tremendous time, I can’t believe it had never occured to me to sign up before, this exchange was literally made for me.

This is the beautiful Ava/Deborah (Teen & Up, 7393 words) story I received for @femslashex 2021. I cannot wait for the author reveals so I can attribute this story to an author, but I still wanted to go on and post about it because it’s so gorgeous. It’s also a bit buried in the tags on ao3 because of when it was posted vs. when it was revealed, so I want to make sure everyone in Hacks fandom sees this gloriousness. Read, comment, share y’all.

summary: six interconnected drabbles about Caroline, Windom, and a Door. I had so much fun writing this and I really hope you enjoy it!
There is a door; it will not open.
There is a door; it is a vibrant bloody red, alluring like a fatal car wreck. It is not a morbid curiosity as much as a burning need to know.
Sometimes, Caroline looks away. Even when she doesn’t remember wrenching and wedging her fingers in the seams until her arms ache and her fingers bleed. She does not think she is that sort of person, but isn’t everyone? At least sometimes?
There is a door. It is red. It will not open. It is always there. Even when Caroline does not remember.
