(( So sorry this is late, thank you sm for the ask!))

⟢∿✧ Yuma

Wholesome vibes, honestly. Gets to a quick comfortability where they are affectionate and close. Of course Jey is a teaser, and poor Yuma falls for it every time with the perfect overdramatic reactions that just feeds Jey to do it even more. They have their struggles of course, they both chronically self sacrifice and then turn around and yell at the other for doing it. There's also tension with Jey being a natural born leader and often can get controlling due to overprotectiveness, treating Yuma like a kid, which shdgfhj Yuma doesn't like so much lmao. And then Yuma, bless him, but his immaturity and stubbornness gets them into a lot of senseless fights and hot water.

⟢∿✧ Astral

They hail from the same planet and are on the same side, so there's an instinctual camaraderie. They are also both artificially made - and - "child warriors"? Whom their planet treats more like machines and cogs to a greater purpose, rather than actual people. So they have a unique struggle and understanding of each other. Jey is also technically assigned as the envoy's protector, in a way. So there's almost a guard & prince type undertone there as well. Just a smidge! However; their views on the war and how things are being handled are very combating. Astral has a tendency to tunnel vision about following his mission and see Astral World prevail above all, whereas Jey likes to openly call out the hypocrisy and ridiculousness way this war is operating (and just generally has far littler 'mission ethic'). After they return home, their relationship deepens and more closely blooms. Jey especially gets real sweet on Astral, and is rather hopelessly affectionate with him (when he isn't teasing him with his whole Robin Hood-esque flowery nonsense).
