Made a bag and tried something new with it. I sewed in both a zipper and a lining. I’ve never done either before so it ended up being a little wonky but it turned out pretty okay for a first time, if you ask me.

Sudoku puzzle blanket!
I came up with this idea when I was thinking about how to properly randomize the colors in a granny square blanket.
You'll need 9 different colors (I used white + 8 shades of purple) and 9 squares of each color. Assign each color a number 1-9. Get a completed sudoku puzzle (or solve one yourself) and start assembling!
I had my squares organized in this bin while I was working and kept this picture saved in my phone with the sudoku puzzle picture to make sure I didn't mix any of the numbers up.

Making a weighted velvet baikal seal plushie :3
Head and tail end are stuffed w ultra plush fiber fill and the bulk of the body is packed full of weighted pellets that have a nice crunchy sound when you squeeze it. Not weighed yet, but it feels between 1.5 - 2lbs?

Progress update 4:
Officially finished with the skirt! I went with one on the smaller/shorter side just because of personal preference and I like how it’s going.
I was concerned that the lacy part on the bottom would be complex but I didn’t have much trouble with it and the directions made it super easy.
Next are sleeves! After I take a break to get yarn shipped to me and to avoid getting tennis elbow from being overzealous lol
