News!
We had gone into hiatus due to COVID, as that was what we decided to be the best course of action. However, with all this new hubbub surrounding this new installment to the series, we have decided to ride the hype train and get back to working on the project!
We look forward to future progress, even if things are a little slow! Thank you for all your support, and we hope that you can keep it up!

Update!
So sorry everyone for the lack of content. There has been a lot going on! Many of our members have had to go on hiatus because of various reasons. It's hard sometimes to work on a project like this when there are so many responsibilities to take care of in one's life.
We have been slowly gathering audio files from voice actors, so that is still going on. What we need further help with is with background artists.
If you are still interested in this project and would like to assist us in developing colored backgrounds at the angles we need then please join the Discord and let us know!

We have been having some trouble recently with voice acting and so things have been a bit bumpy for everyone. To help keep you tided over in this drought of content, here are the final character references for episode one!
Unagi was done by the incredibly talented TricksyRaposa! While Tubba and Bubba were done by me.
We will now be moving on to showing you various assorted other references like references for objects and locations. Please stay tuned!

Sorry for the radio silence everyone, a lot of our members hit a slump and haven't been able to devote time to this project due to outside obligations and unfortunate circumstances. But don't worry, we're still slowly working behind the scenes! Right now we've mostly been recording lines from our voice actors when they have the availability.
But, we have a special post in the works right now as a reward for all of your patience and support! Our goal is to get it to you all by the anniversary of Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter! So, check back in a week to see it. ;D

Here are two more villagers for you all! It's Chef Cookie and Farmer Brown! It seems silly that Farmer Brown would be any color other than brown, wouldn't you think?
I hadn't been identifying these, but yes, all of the character references drawn in this particular art style were made by me. I'm the one who gives pink cheeks to everyone.

The roles have been picked a day early thanks to everyone submitting for so many roles, and the process going so smoothly! Thanks everyone! *claps*
Most of the roles have all been grabbed, but we still have TWO characters left for episode one!

Final Reminder!
The first round of the casting call will be stopped on the 20th! On that day we will wait for any stragglers who had possible trouble with time zones or uncontrollable situations.
On the 21st, roles will be assigned to those who auditioned and those characters will be officially CLOSED. The remaining characters will be displayed in a second round of the casting call, the deadline of which will be discussed and posted at a later date.
Please, if you had been wanting to try voicing one of these characters, even the side characters with a single line of dialogue do so NOW.

Besides from the update about auditions, we also have more to share with you!
What we have here are the extra mysterious residents of the village: Zsasha and Samuel! After a bit of discussion, the color of Zasha's backpack has been chosen to be a little lighter to contrast against the dark purple of his clothes.
