Autel Robotics Introduces Training Programs for Dragonfish Series
Washington, United States, June 29, 2022 – Autel Robotics has revealed details of professional training programs that will promote safety and proper use of its drones. Initially focused on Autel’s own Dragonfish series, the training includes product and technical support knowledge, and walkthroughs of the programs that agents will use for customer service.
Operators who complete the course will receive a Manufactured Certified Operator (MCO) certification. This program is currently available to key Autel stakeholders, such as sales and dealer staff, other Autel employees, and to trainers who will train other staff.
Educating Autel Staff
Training has already begun for the new members of Autel’s Customer Service Team. This includes
a four-course online training series, "Dragonfish Ground Training," followed by in-person training
by a certified instructor. At Autel, all Dragonfish pilots must pass the Ground Training section first
to complete the instructor-led in person training. After passing both sections, the pilot is granted a
Manufacturer's Operating Certificate, which is valid for two years.
Ground Operations Training
In this lesson, pilots learn to safely and efficiently operate the Dragonfish, increasing effectiveness and reducing risks. Students learn to understand the drone’s hardware and software capabilities, they also begin learning flight dynamics and tracking controls.
Sales-focused Training
These lessons, which are still under development and review, will be aimed at Autel dealers and new Autel sales employees. There will be an additional course for dealers who plan to demonstrate the Dragonfish on Autel's behalf, which will include training on executing a sales demonstration effectively.

How To Maintenance Your Drones And Give Your Drone The Longest Life?
Just like any other technical equipment, your drone requires some regular maintenance work to make sure it keeps on giving service to you for a longer period of time. Maintaining a drone is very crucial especially for the reason that you’re paying a significant amount of money to buy one. Here are some basic drone care tips and techniques of how to maintain a drone so that you can give your drone the longest life.
Pre-flight Checklist
Most drone crashes are caused by factors that could have been avoided by proper preparation. By preparing a pre-flight checklist, you can check all the crucial elements and conditions before you launch your drone. Of course, this only works if you keep to the letter and do a pre-flight check every time. The items that you will include in your pre-flight checklist is all up to you, but should ideally include the following items:
The drone has no existing damage (chipped propellers, cracks in the drone’s body, etc.)
Batteries are fully charged. This applies to the drone, the remote controller, and your smart phone (if needed)
The drone and the remote controller are communicating
The drone’s compass and all its sensors are calibrated
The drone has established a GPS signal
By conducting a pre-flight check, you can reduce the probability of unwanted surprises that might only come up when the drone is already hovering at an unsafe altitude.
Cleaning Your Drone
Regular cleaning is something that every drone owner should do. After all, your drone can spend several hours exposed to the elements. Aside from dust naturally building up on the drone’s exterior, its various moving parts could be inundated with various small debris.
You need to build a small kit of cleaning implements for your drone, which should at least include a microfiber cloth, a small brush, some isopropyl alcohol, and a can of compressed air. Start by wiping the exterior with damp cloth, applying alcohol for stubborn stains. Small nooks and crannies can be cleaned with a small brush.
The motors probably suck in a lot of small particles during flight, and these have to be removed via compressed air. Just remember to always hold the can of compressed air upright when spraying so you avoid getting moisture into your drone’s motors.
Keep Your Battery Healthy
Drones are equipped with LiPo batteries, which are incredibly lightweight and compact that come with the burden of also being incredibly fragile. A whole article can be written on how to care for your LiPo batteries, but we’ll start with the most basic thing you need to do – not to overcharge them. Overcharging the battery tends to overheat them, which may explain the number of incidents of LiPo batteries catching fire or exploding while plugged in.
Even if overcharging does not result in as bad an outcome as your battery exploding, it will still contribute to accelerating the deterioration of your battery’s performance. To be fair, battery deterioration is a natural phenomenon which will happen regardless of how you take care of your battery. However, overcharging is one of the fastest and most certain ways to shorten its lifespan.
Let The Drone Cool Down Between Uses
It’s so easy to get caught up in drone flight that drone pilots tend to forget to give their drones a break. While you will certainly need to land your drone to replace batteries after just a few minutes, swapping one battery for another and flying again without giving the motors of the drone some time to cool down is a bad idea. Even with the best lubricant, motors will get hotter the longer they run. A motor that overheats could suffer some permanent damage. At worst, one or more motor can fail while your drone is still up in the air.
Keep the Drone’s Software Updated
All drone makers normally update their firmware very so frequently and it is reasonable that you check for updates. The explanation behind this is they are always battling bugs that put a strain on the drone’s exhibition. It is likewise essential that you update the sidekick application, which makes it simpler to get client support with the present variant of the firmware and application.

PDAF + CDAF Dual Autofocus System On Autel Drones
In the Autel Robotics family, the EVO Nano+ and EVO Lite drones come with PDAF + CDAF Dual Autofocus System  for quicker and more accurate focus, to tracks fast-moving subjects with incredible precision. But do you really know what is PDAF and CDAF Autofocus ?  If you don't, read on to find out.
Cameras are essentially built with sensors, a control system, and a motor. Autofocus came into the picture to resolve the blurry image issue caused by incorrect focal measurements. Autofocus technology corrects the badly focused image by being reliable on sensors to locate the correct focus.
Understanding what is PDAF
PDAF is the abbreviation of Phase detection autofocus.  Like any autofocus optical system, pdaf relies on sensors to determine the appropriate focus for manually or automatically selected areas. what is so ingenious about phase detection autofocus technology is that, in a swift operation, images are split into pairs upon hitting the camera.  PDAF works wonderfully well while trying to capture the subject in movement as it is superbly fast. Allows to capture portraits and still life photography in an incredible way.
Understanding what is CDAF
CDAF is the abbreviation of Contrast detection autofocus. This system relies on the contrast of the image which it is received. Sensor detects the contrast of the image in first lens position, and moves the lens forward or backward to get the contrast of the image in the new position. Then it compares the first result and second result and hunts for next possible best position of the lens. Therefore, CDAF is exceptionally accurate, since it analyses every point of contrast, pixel by pixel, on the camera’s sensor.
Autel Robotics always try to provide the best drones for pilots. With the dual aotufocus system, even beginners can take great pictures like a pro.

Tips On Autel Drones Troubleshooting
As a high-tech product, drones need to be maintained regularly to drive your drones correctly and safely. We need to master the basic knowledge of drone troubleshooting.
1. My Drone Tries to Flip or Flip When Powered On
This problem can occur for a number of reasons. Check that you have calibrated the ESC. Is your propeller balanced? Did you configure the radio correctly? Are your drone’s sensors working properly? Did you check all the wire connections? Have you calibrated the drone frame? Did you add the wrong propeller to the wrong motor?
2. My Motor Spins but The Drone Doesn’t Fly
This usually happens because of battery issues and the propellers or motors are all installed upside down. Don’t worry, correct the problem and take off normally.
3. Drone Yaw When I Pitch or Roll
There may be several reasons for this. For brushless AC motors, you will need to swap any two of the three wires going to the ESC. This will change the direction of rotation of the motor. For BLDC motors, you need to check that the propellers are installed correctly, as BLDC motors will not move in the wrong direction unless they are connected incorrectly. Also, check that the drone’s boom is not twisted. If there are no hardware issues, calibrating the compass and magnetometer will also help.

How To Make Profit With A Drone?
Drones are becoming more popular, but there’s a lot of misinformation about them. Some think that they’re only good to perform air surveillance or delivering packages while other people think that they are just toys that don’t serve any real purpose. In this article, I’ll show you some of the best ways to make money with a drone.
1. Aerial Photos And Footages
Drone photography can be a profitable business and you can make money selling your stocks online. If you live near famous landmark or beautiful countryside, this may be a drone site hustle worth purchasing. Uploading photos and videos to stock photo website can lead t income even if you offer your images on free-to-use at first.
2. Filming
In films, television shows, documentaries, and any other type of video media out there, a drone can take a different perspective that would otherwise go unseen if a camera operator had to get it themselves.
It’s much safer when using a drone instead of an actual person because they don’t have any influence on what goes on during filming.
Drones could be set up in various places around the set where cameras normally wouldn’t be able to go and the result is a larger number of angles in any given shot.
As an aerial photographer, filming houses for real estate agents (real estate industry) or doing aerial wedding photography can be especially lucrative.
3. Hotel And Resort Ads
Standard photography doesn’t always do justice to the location or the views at a hotel, resort, or casino. Marketing teams in the hospitality industry often look to aerial photography to showcase properties. Unless they have an in-house photographer, they need to outsource the photos to a drone operator like you.
As with real estate photography, you’ll need photo and video editing software to compile your aerial footage. You should also create a portfolio website and manage social media accounts to get the word out.
4. Inspection Services
Inspection jobs can be a bit risky and require experienced drone pilots. Still, industrial inspection is a lucrative business, and there are plenty of applications for drones. Drone pilots can save a great deal of time and money by performing building inspections quickly and reliably with thermal mapping and other technology to discover any leaks, corrosion, or other issues that could affect building integrity.

Drone tips from beginner to pro
When you first pick up a drone it is surprisingly easy to get started on flying. Modern-day commercial drones have a range of sensors that make it easier than ever to get flying within minutes of receiving your drone. After a while, the issue is that your flight experience and enjoyment correlate directly with how skilled you are with your drone.
See the tips below:
Don’t look at the camera feed
It’s easy to get drawn into looking at the screen that’s showing what your drone is seeing. However, you should maintain visual contact with your drone at all times. During your first flights, you should try to ignore the camera feed and look at the craft in the air. This will help you to develop an understanding of how responsive it is to the controls.
It’s also much easier to judge how far away your drone is and the speed it’s flying at when you’re looking at it directly.
Get yourself in loads of flying conditions
When you are going out and flying a drone no two days are the same. Some days it will be windy, some days it will be dry, some days it will be very sunny, some days it will be gusty, and some days it will be drizzly and rainy — all of these are chances for you to gain experience in a load of different environmental and flying conditions.
