Dreammare Ship Story pt.1
Nightmare was sitting on his brother’s bed, who was sleeping comfortably. He looked at him and sighed. He slowly stood up and went outside of the bedroom. He went downstairs and grabbed his sweater, put it on, and went outside. Closing the front door, he sat down and grabbed his phone from his pocket. He yawned tiredly and looked around his surroundings. He sighed again and went inside. He yawned and went to the couch. He lied there and fell asleep a few minutes later.
“The hell,” He woke up to the movement of someone on him. He looked around and saw his younger brother, Dream, sleeping on him. He looked really calm and cozy, holding his brother gently.
“Brother.” Nightmare shook Dream softly, trying not to be so rough. Dream woke up and saw Nightmare, who looked a little angry. Dream got off him and started to head upstairs, but, Nightmare grabbed him and sat him on his lap. He saw a bruise on Dream’s leg.
“Dream,” Nightmare said, a little seriousness in his voice, “Did you hurt yourself, and you didn’t tell me?” Dream nodded, tears already streaming down his cheekbones. Nightmare sighed and patted Dream’s backbone, pulling his younger brother closer to him. Dream was crying, clutching onto his older brother. Nightmare was holding Dream, rubbing his backbone softly.

A wittmission for @sleepyfan-blog, for Dreammare hurt/comfort!
There’s mentions of bones cracking but nothing super graphically violent, but you should still be warned.

Underfell. What a dastardly, evil AU. Dream didn’t know why he was drawn to such a place, why he had some sudden urge to go there, but fate was a tricky mistress. The world was not the kindest to Dream, and this AU certainly wasn’t either.
Dream had had his closest childhood friend suddenly turned against him, suddenly growing violent, suddenly turning into a murderer, and Dream was helpless. He could do nothing to stop the other. He just wishes that Nightmare had spoken up for help sooner, that Dream could have saved Nightmare from his suffering.
But no. Instead Dream found himself absorbing the last apple of light and running away, only to revisit the demonic mess of a monster that Nightmare now was to fight and attack. Only to see Nightmare become a true nightmare.
Dream took a shaky breath, looking around. He was in the wastelands of Hotland, though the air was thick and humid; Waterfall wasn’t far from here. He took another breath, clearing his throat and at the same time clearing his mind as best he could.
Focus on the things around you. What can you hear? You can hear lava bubbling and boiling. What can you smell? You can smell gasoline and smoke. What can you see? You can see Nightmare laying in a bloody heap nearby and the magma rocks of a path underneath your feet. What can you taste? You can taste the candy you ate earlier sticking to your teeth and–

Something that I’d been working on here and there for a while…

Setting: Dreamswap, prior to the Great Shenanigan. (we should totally start calling the apple incident that)
16+, I guess? 15+? Implied stuff. (how do ratings work)
Frankly, I love the idea of Nightmare being the cheekiest yandere dork imaginable and Dream just being so done with him.
Dream woke up in their small house one night, his concern immediately building up when he gained his bearings and noticed that Nightmare was not in the bed next to his.
If he was not there, something happened to him, or rather… or he happened to something, in all honesty.
Dream groggily grabbed the clock on the table next to him and held it up to his face so he could see it in his blurry morning vision.
It was… three AM.
He just heck no’d, putting the clock back down and falling back asleep on his stomach in about a minute and a half. He was not going to figure out where Nightmare was, not at this hour.
