I'm not even in this fandom anymore, but you know how the 2015 Korean production of the Death Note musical was subbed on YouTube for a while and then vanished off the face of the earth when it was taken down?
Apparently I have Act 1 sitting in my Google Drive, so here's a link. I do not have Act 2, nor do I know where to find it so do not ask me about that. I don't know where I got this, either. It's just been sitting there for ages.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. This is exactly what I've been wanting to know. White lilies are also commonly associated w/ romantic love and infatuation between girls or women btw, hence the term "yuri" which literally means lily. They're also often associated with funerals (unrelated). Poppies in general are also commonly associated with death, but more so red poppies than yellow ones.

Anime spotlight - Talent-less Nana
Really enjoyed this anime, love a series that does counter to its appearance and provides and interesting twist.
The plot is In the near future, mysterious monsters known as the “Enemies of Humanity” begin to appear, and with it so do children with supernatural powers called the “Talented”. To prepare them for the upcoming battle against these Enemies, all the Talented are sent to a school located on a deserted island, where they have all their daily needs provided for until they graduate and communication with the outside world is forbidden. One day, a new student named Nana Hiiragi arrives at the school. Her friendly and cheerful personality lets her quickly make friends with the class.
Now the twist is probably already spoiled for most but I was lucky enough to go into the series not knowing it and as such the series defied my expectations. I liked that it took a cliched formula and presented itself like a My Hero Academia clone but in the end played more like Death Note. I dont want to spoil to much but the characters are interesting and compelling and the show is so watchable and engaging. The one downside it has one of the most “anime ending” ive seen in years and I hope they make another series!

I'm reading Talentless Nana and something caught my attention
Tumblr media
This book in Kyoya's room.
First I got worried like "Baby are you okay???"
And then I remembered
Kyoya can't be killed, he's probably not actually immortal but still, he won't die for a looong time wich takes me to the other book "100 year 100 views"
Kyoya probably has a lot of problems with his immortality and is probably bored, damn the kid threw himself out of a cliff.
He has no love for life because being unable to die he's kinda like, living out of obligation BC HE CAN'T FUCKING DIE
This is probably why he is so unbothered, and so serious, the boy is looking for a way to be happy and to overcome depression in some way but he doesn't know how bc the major reason most people hold on to life so much is bc they know they might die at any moment, and maybe, bc he's not like that, he has problems talking to people and making friends.
I don't have a conclusion here, I just felt like sharing this, my boy is so depressed, he needs help.

Talentless Nana: Series Reflection
Talentless Nana is a tricky series to judge, because it’s a show I feel only really gets good by the end. For most of its run, its hamstrung by serious flaws that drag it down and exhaust its few good elements. But over the course of the final few episodes, it finally starts finding its footing and makes good on the story its been building towards all this time. It’s a refreshing ending that makes you excited to see where the story goes from here, which makes it all the weirder to look back on the journey it took to get to this point and remember, “Oh yeah, this show was really kinda lame for a long time, wasn’t it?” Most of the time when a show is dull, it’s just dull, and it passes from memory very quickly. It’s not everyday a dull show is able to end with enough promise that I’m genuinely eager to keep watching if future installments ever get made. There’s a damn good anime on the cusp of Talentless Nana, and while we haven’t gotten to see that anime yet, the fact I’m this interested in a season 2 despite all my criticisms of this show is an achievement worth celebrating.

Name: Talentless Nana
Rating: ⭐9/10⭐
Rate: TV-14
Genre: Psychological, superpower, and action
Trigger Warning: Gore
Fifty years ago, “enemies of humanity” suddenly appeared and threatened humanity's very existence. To fight them, teenagers who were born with special abilities, or “Talented”, are shipped to a special island in order to train and hone their unique abilities. But when people start to mysteriously disappear, rumors of an enemy of humanity being among them start to spread. This was one of my favorite anime’s from last season, right alongside Moriarty. This is an anime in which the MC has to be very methodical and calculating, always two steps ahead of everyone, ahead of their enemy. If they find themselves in a difficult situation, they need to get out of it nonchalantly. This anime had me hooked for the first episode and continued to hold my interest, not having me doubt its interest for a moment. The opening was beautiful, always a plus. The animation was smooth, slightly standard but colorful and consistent throughout. The characters were very interesting. Most were very smart but, for the most part, self-centered and egocentric, which can be very true when regarding teenagers. These traits, however, do not hold back the characters from surprising you or making them stay on the path you think they’re going down. The superpowers exhibited were pretty standard, with a handful of exceptions, but it’s all about how the characters use their personal ability that makes it interesting or not. Really, there’s only one thing that held this back from being a 10/10. And that was the ending. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t terrible unlike so many other anime’s where the ending ruins the entire series. No, I just think what happened could have been slightly altered to where it made more sense. It certainly did have me sniffling and tearing up after all was said and done. Overall, I would certainly give this a 9.5/10 at the very least. If you’re a fan of superpowers and truly brilliant and methodical MC’s, then I strongly suggest giving this a try! As always, please feel free to share your thoughts and have a great day!
