"i need you to tell me what the hell you were thinking when you took it upon yourself to text serenity? and say the things you said?" he asked skipping over the niceties but kept his voice quiet enough that amelia wouldn't hear from her room upstairs.

as if his smile couldn't stop from growing he gave a nod looking down at her, "you had me sold at making a whole day of it and super sold at delicious food because i really love when you cook." he said with a light laugh but nodded again, "but we'll absolutely plan something a whole day spent with my two favorite people." he said before he brought his hand up to brush a few free strands away from her face as he shook his head, "i won't fall for charms trust me she ruined that when she disappeared." he said but smiled softly, "plus your charm overpowers hers any day." he said before her lips pressed against his causing him to hum softly, "mhm definitely enjoy it." he said between their kisses, "you can let me take you out?" he asked quietly.

the smile upon her lips grew seeing as how his did, nodding her head at the idea. "we can make a whole day out of it... i could make us all really delicious food.." she trails off, already planning the day in her head as she discusses it out loud. the sense of safety reflects off of him, making her aware that no matter what he'll follow through -- he always has. "i just don't want you to fall for her charms or whatever, you know she's twisted." she mutters, a slight sense of jealousy was there -- not that she'd ever admit it out loud. feeling him rest his forehead against hers, she smirks. "oh yeah? enjoy it how?" serenity inquires teasingly as lips pressed against his once again.

she looked down pushing her hair behind her ear before she looked back at him, "well i hope i can continue to be that good luck charm for you." she said and she meant it. if he asked her to come to every fight she'd do it wanting to support him in anyway she could. smiling brightly as she bit down on her bottom lip, "good... i mean unless you want a more suitable soulmate then i completely will step aside." she said quickly

lifting his shoulders into a shrug, a light smile dances upon his lips. "i do have good faith in you," he was being genuine -- she was someone that he felt that he always needed in his life. the support, seeing her in the crowd cheering his on -- that was all he really needed. he couldn't help the chuckle that escapes his lips, placing his hands up in surrenderence. "i mean -- i can't really argue with that. not that i have much arguing to do. quiet content with the idea."

he refused to let her go so soon so when she wrapped her arms around him he squeezed her a bit tighter just wanting to stay in this moment for a bit longer and at her words he smiled, "i hope i can continue to be your favorite idiot." he said softly before taking in a deep breath, "i deserved it when you said it but i know you didn't mean it i don't hold it against you for saying it though." he said turning his head catching the eyes of their friends still watching them. pulling back he looked down at her but still didn't let her go too far, "do you want to go somewhere? i think if we stand her we're going to have four sets of eyes on us all night." he said tilting his head a bit.

swallowing the lump down her throat, she listens to his words carefully -- eyes scanning his ever so slightly. almost stuck in mesmerization at ocean blue eyes, those familiar soft ones that she knew all too well. heart skips a beat and she could feel butterflies erupt in her stomach hearing that he did do relationships... there was still hope, right? but she didn't want to keep her hopes up too high. the instant he tugs her close, a slight mixture of a yelp and giggle escapes her lips, arms wrapping around him, giving him a light squeeze. "you're right, you're my favorite idiot.. always has been." she mumbles against him, his scent engulf in her nostrils and she melts completely into him. "i didn't mean it -- any of it, i want you in my life."

she really did try hard to stop the smile that was beginning to form before she rolled her eyes looking away from him knowing he was doing it on purpose, "doesn't make you any less annoying." she said before she looked back up at a questioning look, "the couch! you argued with me about who slept on your couch." she shook her head before letting it fall back letting out a sigh, "i don't actively avoid hanging out with you, i actively try to avoid going out and you knew this when you met me i'm the boring one here." she pointed out giving him a look, "don't taunt her about it she really questioned why she had said it." she laughed before she looked over at him lifting her shoulder slightly, "because we're friends... and it took us forever to get to actual friends ... and theres a part of me that doesn't want to lose you as a person in my life.." she said softly, "besides my brothers you're one of the most important people in my life, admitting that i feel something for you gives fuel for you possibly leaving my life one day."

"hey, you asked me a question... i was simply just answering," he responded back rapidly, like quick fire as the smirk grows upon his lips -- knowing that he was getting under her skin. one of his favorite activities to do. "i don't start any fight -- name one time," he crosses his arms, rising a brow at her as he awaits for her answer. "that's awfully rude, i don't think friends pass up on each other like the way you actively try to avoid hanging out with me," he teases, knowing that some nights she would rather much prefer a calmer scene and. he couldn't blame her. it was hard to believe her words, chuckles escapes his lips -- shaking his head, "thank you for that info, i will forever taunt her about it now." devilish smirk wide as ever before he rises his brow once more. "why is it so hard for you to admit that you feel something for me, isa?"

"embarrassing? oh my god, please tell me you're joking." she groaned before she laughed with a shake of her head only knowing he was one of three other people that definitely had all the drunk athena stories but he was right now was not the time for them, "im taking this as a win then." she smiled up at him before she shook her head, "have you met kalani? i didn't agree to it she was going to do it, but maybe not since all that." she waved behind her staying in the little bubble the two of them created for themselves. it was as if her smile could grow she nodded her head at his question, "i'm glad this isn't a dream.. but yes i want to go on an official date with you."

“don’t think now is a good time to share all the embarrassing stories you told me,” he teases the female, laughter falling from his lips as he grins brightly. “oh definitely an accomplishment,” he nods his head. kai watches her as she began to ramble on, a heartfelt smile forms across his lips. he just finds her extremely adorable — realizing that he needed to show it before it was too late. “ah.. so, i’m glad i didn’t tell you about the surprise that cier had for lani at midnight because you wouldn’t of agreed for her to split with cier at that time,” aware that she was still stuck in their little bubble. feeling soft hands meet his, he squeezes lightly. “it is.. and i want to ask if you want to go on an official date with me?”

with a nod he looked down at her he couldn't stop the smile he had from growing, "how about sometime soon i bring her over and she'll create you your very own amelia romano masterpiece?" he questioned knowing that his daughter had been questioned when they could go visit the woman and now he had the perfect excuse. shaking his head a bit, "i'll make sure she doesn't. i can't say if she's crazy or not but i promise you i'll take care of this." he said softly. feeling her relax against him he let out a content sigh feeling himself relax more than when their conversation first started. pulling back he rested his forehead against hers, "now how about we forget about my ex and her psycho behavior and we just enjoy this before i have to pick up lia."

serenity never imagined any moments with benji such as these -- well of course she did, but she didn't think it would actually happen. only for it all to come crashing down because of a bitter ex. as his thumb brushes against her cheek, a light smile forms across her lips. "i would love one to frame in my place.. it'll be the perfect touch." and in her heart it was true, they were already a family before the idea of feelings came about. "do you really think she'll go crazy and somehow come after me?" she inquires, she's always been a tough girl, but she didn't need his ex to be digging up her past. all of her thoughts suddenly vanishes when she felt his lips gently press against hers, eyes flutter shut as she melts into his lips.

though it definitely wasn't a sight she wanted to see she knew that it had also come with the job and knew she would eventually, maybe, see the day he was hurt, "you have a lot of faith in me being a good luck charm." she teased lightly but her smile didn't falter one bit as she looked up at him nodding her head, "yes i'm claiming it so if i were i'd just tell all the other girls that i've claimed that spot because you've not only offered tradition celebrating dinner but you threw in froyo so..." she lifted her shoulder, "i hate be the one to say it but i'm not letting you go." she smiled.

him being bruised and bloody was also a sight that he didn't want her to see him in -- not because it would declare him a loser, but he didn't want to traumatize her. "can assure that with you by my side it won't occur," a smile tugs at the corner of his lips as he hums lightly. "sounds like a deal to me," either way he was getting to spend time with her. "so we're soulmates now, hm?"

lifting his shoulder some he looked down at iridescent the corners of his lips tipping up slightly, "i did feel... i was just in a messed up place after my last relationship.. i got pretty burned so i closed myself off." he said softly looking between her eyes, "i do relationships i'm just an idiot." he said looking at at. the moment his ramble was done he just watched her preparing for the worst but hoping for the best case scenario so when her hand moved to his and their fingers intertwined he wasted no time pulling her close wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug, "i miss you too." he said as he nuzzled his face into her neck, "i'm an idiot but i'm your favorite idiot."

it was like everything was going in slow motion as his words ring through her ears once again. "but i thought that you didn't feel --" pausing for a split second, swallowing the lump down her throat. "i thought you don't do relationships," she mumbles unsure if that's what he's even asking for. heart thumping against her ribcage, eyes falling over towards his hand, unable to help the small smile creeping upon her lips as he introduces himself in a ramble. maybe she did rub off on him in some ways. a certain type of light reentering her body, body instinctively steps closer -- yearning for this moment, wanting him. yet delicate fingers still hesitated, slowly moving a hand to his -- intertwining their fingers. "i missed you, you idiot."

rolling her eyes she shook her head his answer, "shut up, you're so annoying." she laughed lightly looking up at him before she looked away from him as she blew out a breath. chuckling she jokingly glared at him, "no take that back i do not. you start fights too!" she said pointing over at him before she shook her head, "trust me i know. i have to make up excuses to not go out with you." she said before she laughed nodding her head, "yeah i was going through something and it was around the time i wrote the first song and i was just considering looking for a random hookup and she threw your name out." she shook her head looking up at him, "these stupid feelings! we're getting a divorce i can hide from the questions if i want to." she said childishly.

he scoffs at her question before chuckling, "pft, of course i have -- coolest man alive." he cockily states, obviously his high opinion regarding himself was one thing that would never falter despite how close the two get. "me a child? you're the child, you're the one who always picks fights for no reason." he pointed out -- not entirely true, but that didn't matter as he playfully shoves her back. hand places up in surrenderence -- laughter escaping, "i don't actively get you drunk, i just happen to drink a lot. it's my favorite past time activity if you haven't noticed." at her words, he practically chokes on his saliva, "serenity said what now?" he rises a brow, shaking his head -- it was something typical that she would say. "take what back? you're the one who put it in the air -- y'know your fans are eventually going to connect the dots. you can't hide from the question forever."

"have i really? wait what else have i done while drunk?" she laughed shaking her head, "but i can see how this is definitely an accomplishment for semi-sober me." she laughs lightly. shaking her head at the look that crosses his face as she drops her hand to her side, "don't give me that look i one hundred percent know she's not paying attention to this but i'm not taking the chance we talked and if this didn't happen," she motioned between the two of them regarding the kiss, "she said she would leave cier and come give me a kiss on my cheek so on the off chance i said i'd give her some kind of sign so tada." she said as she took a deep breath licking her lips as she looked up at him nodding, "uh yeah i-" she started to say before she shook her head moving to grab his hands in case he did attempt to jokingly pinch her, "i mean no, don't pinch me. i believe i'm not dreaming, this is real."

"i mean -- you have admitted it to me a few times when you were drunk, but this is different! you're completely semi-sober," teasing words fell from his lips as light chuckles escapes. blue hues glances over towards the female -- taking in her reaction to it all. brows rose as he watches her throw a thumbs up, to no one in particular considering it seems that everyone was crowding the couple who just got engaged... but the both of them? they were wrapped up in their own little moment. another round of laughter fell from his lips, inching closer towards her -- finger brushing a few strands of hair, tucking it behind her ear. "well, i can one hundred percent tell you that you're not dreaming... want me to pinch you?" he jokes, finding her all too adorable.

benji had never been one to fully open up to someone, especially after olivia had left their daughter with him and disappeared without a trace but with serenity everything was different. it was as if she had come out of nowhere and found a way to burrow so far in his life he couldn't even imagine letting her slip away now. letting his thumb gently sweep across her cheek he nodded, "i'm sure she has a ton but won't mind making you you're own copy." he said softly a smile taking over his features, "you're always the better choice and i'll figure it out." he said with a small nod looking between her eyes, "but please don't question this." he said before leaning down to gently press a kiss to her lips.

the moment the messages came through, serenity knew it was bullshit -- but a part of her wonders if it were true. after her one and only boyfriend she strictly layed off of people, yet she knew benji was different. he always been and that's what she admired about him. eyes looms over towards his features, feeling his warm hand upon her cheek, a warm smile forming across her lips hearing that the little girl that she grew so fond of was drawing pictures of them, including her in it. "i didn't know.. but that's sweet, i'm going to need to see them next time i'm over. maybe even have her draw one for me to hang in my place." she states, feeling much better about the situation as she takes a deep breath. "i'm happy to hear that you'd pick me over her.. but i don't know that's the creepy part."

easton looked around when the words left his month his eyes falling on their friends before he looked back down at her. the truth was now out there and he wasn't taking it back. nodding his head he looked iridescent in her eyes, "yeah.. fall for you even more." he said again licking his lips lifting his shoulder slightly, "i'm not taking those words back by the way." he added clearing his throat as she comes just a bit closer before he holds out his hand, "hi i'm easton i'm a bit of a dick, sometimes i shut down and get into my head. i'm not an angel more so a dark angel from time to time. i say things i shouldn't but i can promise you... you are one person i will never hurt again." he said, "whatever that means for us is for you to decide. if you want me to leave i will... but if not -" he tilts his head and motioned to his hand.

eyes lift from the floor to glance over towards him as he finally explains himself -- allowing her to fully understand all that's going through his mind. her face softens just a bit, yet her guard was still up.. unsure if she could fully indulge herself in him again. there was no denying that she missed his presences and being around him. her heart practically stops at his words, "fall for me even more?" she repeats as her brain processes it... did that mean he felt the same way? iridescent inches a tad bit closer towards him -- trying to ignore the stares of their friends. "okay.. i'm not forgiving you so easily, but what does this mean for us?"

smiling up at him she bit her bottom lip lightly before shaking her head, "yeah i don't think i want to see that." she said looking at him already vowing to herself that she'd try to make as many of these he wanted her to. her smile grew, "a tradition we will keep for sure and if it take a turn and you lose one we will go back to one of our places and order pizza and watch crappy tv to make ourselves better." she teased before her eyes lit up, "i swear you truly a soulmate and easily can win me over. you had me froyo."

"exactly and i'm nothing without my good luck charm. you don't want to see me all bruised and bloody," he mentions eyes flickering over towards her. "great and we can go out and celebrate each time... make it our little tradition?" he quirks a brow in question sending her a sweet smile. "mm, we're definitely going for froyo after."

her brows furrowed looking up at him, "have you met yourself?" she asked before she chuckled shaking her head at him. she had always rolled her eyes and ignored him when he had become like that but deep down it was one of things she liked about him because it was in truth what brought her out of her shell. rolling her eyes she shook her head, "you're such a child." she said before reaching over to shove him lightly. squinting her eyes just a bit she pursed her lips, "you know that just means you're actively getting me drunk just for my alter ego..." she shook her head before letting her head fall back a groan emitting from her, "i dont fucking know! i wish i just took nini's advice and just fucked it out." she muttered, "take it back because i can't i'll be asked who its about or people will put it together and then i'll have to answer why i wrote not one but two love songs about you!"

"super extra? nah -- when have i ever acted like that?" he rises a brow at her, wide grin appearing across his lips knowing damn well that he could get super annoying and cheeky about it. "matter in fact i am -- therefore i take it back and you can't." he states in a childish manner, sticking his tongue out. "i don't actively try to get your drunk! i just happen to like to drink a lot and i make sure everyone in my circle gets a shot when i do," he replies as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "so it is a love song! damn, isa since when have you fallen in love with cdc?"

she rolls her eyes shaking her head, "shut up... this was bound to happen eventually." she laughed lightly looking up at him her smile still never leaving her face. her heart was racing as she looked up at him her eyes wide and doe like before she held up a finger toward him, "wait..." she said before she threw a thumbs up in the air in case kalani had been around but in truth thena didn't see anyone else but kai in their little bubble. letting her hand fall back to her side she slowly nodded at the male's words, "yeah ... that ... i'm-" she shook her head still looking up at him a smile on her lips, "-i'm going to need you to explain that.. this is a pinch me moment for me and you kissed me and have wanted for a while and i swear kalani and i were just talking about this and i really need to make sure this isn't a dream right now." she rambled letting out a breath,

"never have i ever expected this day to come... the day where you admit you're stubborn as hell," teasing smile curves at the corner of his lips. hoping that she knew how much she meant to him -- how much she always has. his eyes remains upon the female, heart pumping out of his chest as he lets out a small breath. light smile as a glow appears across his features, "what? what i've wanted to kiss you for a while now?"
