my favorite part about falling in love with critical role is trying to explain critical role to other people (vax and vex are my f a v o r i t e s).

I love the acronym ‘lovm’ as a tag for Legend of Vox Machina, because every time I see it, I automatically read it as love ’m (as in, ‘I love them!’) and it’s just… very accurate.

Okay. You know what. I was gonna reblog without saying anything. But I can’t keep my mouth shut because I’m a mouthy human.
Okay. So like. This scene. This. Right here. It was an excessively important scene in showing Caleb as a character. These important questions that he needs to talk about because the Cerberus Assembly is right. Fucking. There. And he doesn’t know what to do. And Beau and Jester keep asking him questions. And unlike Beau and Jester who just can handle all of those questions, take them in stride, and answer them without being overwhelmed, Caleb cannot. And Cad stepped in. We always joke about how Cad perception is amazing. But it’s not about the perception in this scene. It’s about the insight. Cad may not have much interaction with people but by gods can he read them well. And this scene is so important for both characters.
Not only that. But to me, as an anxiety human, having someone who can see when I’m on the verge of a panic attack and can go “you know what, take your time, it’s fine” is so immensely helpful (thanks bestie) and when you have someone like that, it’s absolutely one of the most calming factors that allows me to remain calm in the situations that would normally overwhelm me to the point of panic or not being able to function.
This has been my caffeine induced rant about Caleb and Cad. Carry on.
Campaign 2 Episode 49:
Caleb: on the verge of a panic attack.
Caduceus: I should do something about that.

looking at the critical role cast, and in particular looking at the deep-voiced Texan drawl that Travis Willingham is doing, I have one solid prediction for the Wildemount campaign, and it is this: at some point Matt Mercer is going to let his guard down and set a scene outdoors in the middle of the day, and Travis Willingham is going to look at the golden opportunity in front of him and think “yeah, this feels like a good moment to tempt death”
